Christmas Evening

Christmas evening we headed into Marcia's. Adam and family were there along with Geoff.  The four kids had a ball opening their gifts. All at once this year. It was hard to take pics of the girls for they were opening at the same time. Haydn's big gift that she loves is her gum ball machine!!

Christmas 2011

Santa found us this morning!!  We all 4 had a great Christmas morning.

2nd grade holiday party

Today was the girls last day of school before Christmas break. I volunteered in Hannah's classroom this time. The school raised enough money from their fall fundraiser that they had a magician for part of their holiday party.  The last 30 minutes of their party they were in their classroom. Hannah's class did a book exchange for their game and also had a snack. While Hannah was eating her snack I snuck down to Haydn's class to see what they were doing. Their party was wrapping up and at the time they were listening to Miss Kragel read a book.  Neither girl volunteered to be an assistant to the magician.  I thought it was pretty good.

We celebrated Christmas over the weekend in MA. We had a great time. The cousins draw names and so do the adults. We let the kids open the cousin gifts on Saturday and we do the rest of gifts Sunday morning. The kids enjoyed what they got. This year it was a lot of games which was fun and entertained them during the afternoon.

 The Country Club had "breakfast with Santa" this was the 1st year and I think they had a good turnout. Porter was scared of Santa so not pic with him.

The girls and I have done some baking over the past couple days. Haydn wimped out early (go figure) so Hannah and I finished them!! It was fun!!  Luckily I have bagged up some for teachers!!

My Toe Hurts

One day I found that I got an ingrone toenail. Ow! Then I had to put my toe in epson salt itmedeily! Then we started puting medicine on it. after a few days we went to the doctor to get it checked out I, thought they would cut a little so I got nervous and cried a little! But actually, they just touched it! Sence I was a little good there, I got a treat and then we went home we ate supper and then we got to eat our treats. Then we went to bed. We woke up the next morning and went to school I felt better!!

Jolly Holiday Lights

The girls and I headed down to Jolly Holiday Lights tonight. I always enjoy this myself.

 At the of the light there is a building where Santa is, this was the 1st year we saw him.

Afterwards we did our annual drive to AIB. The girls don't remember doing this last year. I drove them around campus and showed them where I lived.  Amy was actually working at JHL tonight, it was a fun surprise to see her!
