Prom-Little Women Style

It is Prom in Mt Ayr this evening. The girls saw some of the HS girls dressed up. Nana remembered that she had some of our old Prom dresses in the closet. We tried some of them on.
So we are having our own prom at 105 Valley West Drive! There is one small problem - Wes won't allow Hannah and Haydn to have a date tonight!!!!!

We are ready to P-A-R-T-Y!!!
Notice how Hannah has her legs crossed so elegantly!

All dressed and no where to go!!

The Little Women are hotties!!

Hannah's 1st Soccer Game

Hannah had her 1st game tonight. You could definitely tell it was her 1st game of any type of sport. The whole team was very inexperienced. They have had 1 practice. Hannah had a good time, her face was bright red like mine gets!! Mother like daughter! She should sleep well tonight.

cake and more gifts

Marcia and Steve came out tonight. Marcia has a coworker that is just getting into the cake business so Marcia had her make Haydn a Tinkerbell cake. It was a good cake. She got some really fun things from her also.

This morning when Haydn woke up, like any other morning she called for me to come get her. I had put 4 balloons in her room last night. She did see them at first. I said "look you have balloons in your room". she said "how did they get in here, I was sleeping all night? I told her I put them in there after she fell asleep. We came out to the living room and she saw her baby crib first and said "this is just like Stella's"! She also got rain boots and a iPod for her build a bear. She has wanted rain boots forever. Along with an iPod for Beary. Anytime we are at Jordan Creek Mall we walk into Build A Bear to look around. She always gravitates to the iPod and cell phone. After the Y we went to Pizza Ranch. Haydn LOVES pizza.

Happy 4th Birthday, Haydn

Happy Birthday, Haydn!! My baby is 4 today! Really? Where does the time go? Haydn is a joy, she is a perfect addition to our family. She is COMPLETELY different than Hannah in every form.

Here are a few of Haydn's traits....

* she is left-handed

* she is LOUD

* everything to her is 100- 100 days, 100 minutes

* can count to 30

* is a picky eater

* loves babies

* can work the laptop

* still does not get out of bed by herself in the mornings

* loves sweets
She will start preschool this fall, and I have no doubt she will LOVE every minute of it! She has changed so much since Hannah has started school. She just acts so much older. She is no longer a baby but will always be my baby! I hope you have an AWESOME 4th Birthday, Haydn and an even better year!

Soccer

Hannah is doing a soccer clinic for 5 weeks. She has practice on Tuesday nights and games on Friday nights. Tonight was the 1st practice. When we got to the field it was 68 degrees and when we left 1 hr and 15 minutes later it was 55 degrees. Boy, the temp dropped fast and the wind picked up. Poor Hannah was in shorts and a t-shirt. Haydn and I were cold watching her practice, we even went to the van for awhile to keep warm, of course we didn't have coats or anything. I think Hannah is really going to enjoy it.

part II

Today after church we dropped off Mom and Mike and they hid eggs in the yard. The rest of us drove around the block to waste time. They got alittle more chocolate to add to their diet while in Mt Ayr.

Easter Egg Hunt

the girls and I headed to MA after Hannah got out of school on Friday. Yesterday morning we headed up to the courthouse for a egg hunt. Both girls came home with some good prizes! Then later on we headed to Diagonal for Grandpa Jay's 90th birthday party. He was our neighbor in Diagonal and was like a Grandpa to us girls. He is in great health and still drives! Mom decided to give the grandkids their Easter baskets yesterday afternoon.
