Haydn woke up early from her nap today so I decided to start in on taking her border down in her room. She got her new twin quilt for her b-day so it is time for her to get her "big girl" room. We got a bed, dresser and nightstand from Matt Little. He and Sam got new furniture. The mattress and nightstand is here so we need to get it all set up. Got the border down in little over 2 hrs. Should of took before pictures but didn't think about it until it was too late. Just have after pictures. Most of you know what her room looks like so you will get the picture! When Hannah was around 14 months old during what we thought she was napping she was taking down the border. Like an idiot I bought more border, no more put it back up and she had it off in a couple days. So that wall was already bare. It is hard to remember that room not being a nursery. In a few months it will be hard to remember what it use to look like.

Outing To The Zoo
The girls and I went to the Zoo this morning. What another beautiful day. We walked around for 45 min or so then went to the van for a picnic lunch. Hannah loves eating in the back of the van! Went back in and walked around some more. Both girls fell asleep on the way home but Haydn is the only one that stayed asleep!! Wes is in IA City, of course!! Couldn't resist a picture of a blue frog!!

Sunday
Sunday us girls messed around the house in the morning. Mom has been working very hard on pettiskirts for the 3 older girls. She had them done so we brought them to the Ozarks for some pictures. We also got fairy wings for them to wear. We did a photo shoot with them. They turned out pretty cute. Mom also bought all 5 of them matching pajamas. Those didn't so as well but was fun!! We also took the girls miniature golfing. Which was fun for us adults too. We tried to sit two cameras on a table and take a whole family picture for mom and dad's x-mas card this year.
Saturday
Saturday we got up and went shopping while the guys watched the kids. They took them go karting. Our theme for supper was Mexican. Anna Leigh and I went shopping later on and I thought of the idea of a pinata. We waited until after supper to tell the kids. They had a great time with it. Us adults even got a swing at it!!
Friday
The guys got up early and left for golfing. They golfed 27 holes. Once they got home mom, Kayren, Anna Leigh, Vada and I went shopping to the outlet mall. We got some good deals for us and our children!! Vada was center of attention the WHOLE weekend. She is probably glad to be back in NC with PEACE and QUIET!! Vada is a great baby, rarely cries and sleeps GREAT!! I had to capture some pictures of AL and Vada Friday morning. Then a picture of the men once they got home from golfing in their matching shirts!! We decided to share cooking at nights rather than eating out every night, expensive and the kids wouldn't do well. Friday night was the guys. They grilled chicken and steaks, homefries on the grill, salad and bread. It was Good. We had a lot to live up to.
Ozark Trip
We ALL had a blast in the Ozarks this past weekend. We left Waukee Thursday morning and got home today (Monday) around 4:30 PM. We arrived Thursday afternoon around 4:00 PM Thursday. We had a awesome house. It had 5 bedrooms and 6 baths!! Each family had their own bedroom/bath. Hannah, Stella and Haydn had a bunk bed room. Hannah was VERY excited about that. We had a pool table, air hockey, dart board in the lower level. Hot tub outside. It was great!! Kayren had ordered a nail polish kit off the Internet and brought down. The girls had a great time with the pampering! While Kayren, mom and I were in NC in August we thought it would be funny to buy the guys matching shirts to wear golfing. We gave presented them Thursday night. Wes, Mike and Patrick got in the lake Thursday night. My girls didn't like that so much. Stella loved it!!

Lil' Cowgirl Haydn
The girls and I went to Ayr Days this past weekend in Mt Ayr. Haydn and Porter are still young enough to be in the baby contest. They both won the cowboy/girl part!! Haydn used Wes's stick horse, which is 30 yrs old! We braided her hair and she had pink cowboy boots! Hannah, Stella, Haydn & Porter got to ride on the train and the girls rode the swings which Haydn LOVED!! Wes had a good Saturday as the Hawks won!! We are getting geared up for the Ozark trip this coming Thursday. Hopefully it will be warmer down south!
