x-mas 2006

well we have had a great holiday season too!! We still have one or two left to go!! Anna Leigh and Patrick drove back from NC this x-mas! Was great to see them! Hannah had fun opening her gifts. She didn't get too many toys, YEAH!! Haydn on the other hand didn't know what was going on. She would rather play with the boxes or even eat the paper than anything else. Next year she should enjoy x-mas more.

Beggers Bash

Went to Mt Ayr on Sunday night for the Beggers Bash. Hannah attended this last year so we thought we would go again this year. Both girls had a good time. Well Hannah enjoyed it more than Haydn, but Haydn was good rode in her stroller just looking around. Hannah is curious george this year and Haydn is a black cat

Went to Mt Ayr over the weekend. Mom and dad had a weiner roast for Hannah. I think us adults had as much fun as she did.

new job!!

Well Friday was my last day of working at Marsh! We sat down and realized that a lot of my check was going to day-care so I put in my two weeks notice and now am staying home with the girls. I didn't really like my job either. But tomorrow I have an interview at the YMCA here in Waukee for a PT job. I can take the girls with me so that will be nice. I feel like I will miss the adult interaction and want Hannah to still be around kids, so we will see what tomorrow brings. Went to Mt Ayr over the weekend. Mom and dad had a weiner roast for us. Hannah has never been to one before. It was a lot of fun for all of us. Even made smores!! Liking this warmer weather, got to take advantage of it!!

9-11

Well today marks the 5th anniv of 9-11. My dept walked over to the "Healing Fields" today. It was raining but that didn't stop a lot of people from attending the ceremony. I will never forget Sept 11, 2001. It was my first day back to work from our honeymoon. Wes and I had just got off a plane from Jamacia the Sunday before the terrorist attack. Now that I have two children I think of what a wonder country we live in and some day when the girls are in school they will learn about this day. For those of you that live in the DM area you should really go see the 3000 flags. It is very moving to see a flag for each person that died that day.

Hannah

Haydn

update on the Little family

well I am new to blogging, I know it is the new hip thing to keeping in touch! We will see how well I keep this up. Haydn is 5 months today!! She is on the verge of rolling over!! Loves to watch Hannah at all times. Hannah is pretty good with her. Once Haydn is on the move, I have a feeling I will hear, "Mom, Haydn is getting into my things" a lot!!! We are busy, but that is the only way I know of life right now!!
