Calcul des probabilités

Did you know the difference between caffeine and chocolate is only a carbon dihydride bond apart?

Fascinating isn't it - how a slight molecular adjustment could give rise to one of the world's most remarkable object. What is the probability of this happening? Indeed: "Suam habet fortuna rationem" (Chance has its reasons).

Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas. ~Albert Einstein

Judging from the time left on my immuno-clock, I shall do a quick update. We probably should begin with updates from a few months ago. Given that I'm such an irregular blogger, we could do a short summary (abstract).

In the midst of all the uncertainty and setbacks, there are beautiful things to smile about. When things take a turn for the worse, you know that one day you would wriggle yourself out, look back on those trying days and smile that you've overcame something near impossible.

As part of the matriculation procedure (or protocol), I had my 6 month review last week. I've come to a point of my journey where I'm at the crossroads, having to weigh the consequences of turning left or right. Amazingly, I am under the guidance of two very wonderful supervisors. Each day, I'm thankful knowing that I've got all that is given to me as a blessing from God and that gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing that no matter what the circumstances may be, no matter how things turn out at the end of the day I know that I'm in good hands.

My antibody drowned sections are calling for me.

Till next time folks. :)
