Yours truly was the guineapig for Tuesday's experiment simulating resting and exercise levels at high altitude. And boy, it was no easy feat! Being hooked up to the Douglas Bag and to the gas analyzers made breathing all the more unnatural. To make it worse, we had to exercise on the exercise bikes under hypoxic conditions. meaning to say, that we were simulating what would happen when one was up 5000m on some mountain. I reckon these bikes are probably used ages ago way before even unipol was opened. Yeah, so there I was, hyperventilating under hypoxic conditions, peddling hard out at 120watts and 70rpm, with all those heavy tubings stuck to me. To sum it all, our results were fantabulous.

Aside from that, you would have realised the change in blogskin eh and the reduction in links.. hahaa, that's because silly me decided to change the template without saving a copy as backup, so with just one click of the mouse... ... ... poof! my previous alterations disappeared before me. Those links that you see there are the ones that I could remember off-hand. As for the rest, I'm afraid that if you guys happened to chance upon this post and realised that your link aint there, do drop me a tagg and I will make the necessary adjustments soonest possible.

Through this experience, i've come to realise that blogging is comparable to an essay that make up a huge proportion of the internal grades. Slightly analogous to losing information from a essay due to improper saving techniques. Maybe that was why i felt a little depressed after losing the template. lol.

Teacher's day is today. Was really surprised when two of my ex-students wished me Happy teacher's day. I must say that really made my day all the more special knowing that I've actually impacted their lives. It's really wonderful, ahhh the joys of teaching!

The mid semester break is coming to an end and it would be back to hectic schedules, rushing assignments and the thrills of attempting to meet deadlines. Looking at things from another perspective, 8 more assignments/essays/lab reports, 4 exams and it marks a flight home to the sunny island. 8 assignments in less than a span of 6 weeks means more than one deadline each week.

But Rachel can do this, well like Su-ann says I always do pull through. Hopefully i do. Alrightey, it's back to essaying in an attempt to charm Dr G.B with my award-winning essays. lol. :P
