The mid-semester break is over and it's back to 9am lectures and long lab sessions. To think we actually stayed through G.Davis's review lab class is a wonder. Halfway through the lab, while his back was turned, trying to explain some baroreceptor mechanism to a group of kiwi-guys, people in the other groups started leaving. We were the only group left! Though we werent exactly discussing stuff to do with hypertension or physiology for that matter, at least we had the courtesy of waiting for him to wrap up the session.
Anyway our dear prof, dressed in his ever-so-cute smileys tie.. ended the session after almost an hour later! and he sort of gave a whole summary of his lectures again. But it was all good. And i'm sure he did stimulate our interest in cardiovascular research eh.. Hurhur. can you imagine even doing research under him.. Unforgettable, memorable post-grad session!
Just for the record, that was monday! the first day of school and the day people start to sink back into reality. and we had physiology presentation the next day.
Preparation and reading the journal took a week, the presentation took just a mere 15 minutes. So much so for all the brain cells used trying to understand the complicated methods performed in the experiment.
Okay, i shant rattle on anymore.
*To all my wonderful NUS and NTU peeps, best wishes for the exams this week! through these stressful exam period, do know that there is someone BIGGER and WISER that is in control! :)
Here's a song that always on my mind..
Shepherd of my soulShepherd of my soul
I give You full control
Wherever You may lead
I will follow
I have made the choice
To listen to Your voice
Wherever You may lead
I will go
Be it in the quiet pastures
Or by a gentle stream
The Shepherd of my soul
Is by my side
Should I face a mighty mountain
Or a valley dark and deep
The Shepherd of my soul
Will be my guideTruely, He is our shepherd, our guide. So nothing, absolutely nothing is too small or too big that He cannot handle!
