I'm having a PHSL test tomorrow, yet the lecturer (our dear prof) didnt give out proper instructions such that some people think there's a test tomorrow, other think it's next week. And there were no instructions as to how the test was structured. A laboratory test or a terms test, it doesn't matter. so long as we're prepared for them eh..

Well, the HuRD majors are gonna discuss the Berkeley Madonna thingy tomorrow and revise before the test. Berkeley Madonna is this software we use for construction of models. Believe me, this software isn't as easy as what Dr B.S described it to be. However a person of his calibre should be able to comprehend anything and everything. Afterall he has already attained the highest qualification ever possible. I believe he is one of the very few who actually got that... Kudos to him!

Let's just hope tomorrow's test would be a breeze. *fingers crossed*

The HuRD majors went baking Anzac cookies on Anzac day(25th April)! how interesting eh?

UPDATES, UPDATES!!

Singapore Exposé has been a success! Thanks to everyone for their time and effort to make this such a successful event. The turn-out was great (About 250 pple excluding the VIPS and the volunteers) Cant really say much about the skit though b'cos by the time I went in, they were almost done. But the dance was absolutely gorgeous alongside funky and groovy moves. The exhibition I must say was a WOW, done by yours truly and her team of girls. Hahaa, Bel & Lyd's kitchen provided the very much needed flow of yummylicious delicacies.

Being in a small little student town, local food is one of the delights fondly missed. Well, in a way it isnt so. I reckon it's the environment that one is in. For me, I miss the hussle and bussle of the city, with brightly lit streets, night-life and food places that open 24/7 where food can be easily obtained any time of the day.

Anyway I digressed. But yea, overall I'm very pleased with the way Singapore Exposé
2007 turned out, our months of hard work finally paid off. Many thanks to all who supported this event in one way or another and made this event possible! Thank you!

Here's a sneak preview of exhibition that yours truly and her team prepared. You go girls! Snapshots from Singapore Exposé 2007:

The HURD majors decided that it was time for lunch together due to recent events. Su-ann came to pick us up from Anzac Ave and off we went to The Esplanade. This is comparable to the one in Singapore except that the scenery was 100 times more magnificant.

Anyway the Esplanade that we have here is a dining area along the coastline. I think it is the pacific ocean to be exact. The pizza, pasta and mussels were simply superb!

Afterthat, we headed back to Anzac Ave to complete the exhibition stuff. I'm proud to say that Changi Airport and the Merlion has been fully erected. Ah Hock's chicken rice stall is finally completed. Our proposed HDB estate is also completed. (looks more like a social-studies project doesn't it)

Let's just hope everything goes well on the big day!

We all had fun preparing exhibition stuff didnt we?
There are many hidden talents within the OSC comm.. just look at all the exhibtion stuff that we made/drew from scratch.. Wonderful job ladies!

The mid-semester break is over and it's back to 9am lectures and long lab sessions. To think we actually stayed through G.Davis's review lab class is a wonder. Halfway through the lab, while his back was turned, trying to explain some baroreceptor mechanism to a group of kiwi-guys, people in the other groups started leaving. We were the only group left! Though we werent exactly discussing stuff to do with hypertension or physiology for that matter, at least we had the courtesy of waiting for him to wrap up the session.

Anyway our dear prof, dressed in his ever-so-cute smileys tie.. ended the session after almost an hour later! and he sort of gave a whole summary of his lectures again. But it was all good. And i'm sure he did stimulate our interest in cardiovascular research eh.. Hurhur. can you imagine even doing research under him.. Unforgettable, memorable post-grad session!

Just for the record, that was monday! the first day of school and the day people start to sink back into reality. and we had physiology presentation the next day.
Preparation and reading the journal took a week, the presentation took just a mere 15 minutes. So much so for all the brain cells used trying to understand the complicated methods performed in the experiment.

Okay, i shant rattle on anymore.

*To all my wonderful NUS and NTU peeps, best wishes for the exams this week! through these stressful exam period, do know that there is someone BIGGER and WISER that is in control! :)

Here's a song that always on my mind..

Shepherd of my soul

Shepherd of my soul
I give You full control
Wherever You may lead
I will follow
I have made the choice
To listen to Your voice
Wherever You may lead
I will go

Be it in the quiet pastures
Or by a gentle stream
The Shepherd of my soul
Is by my side
Should I face a mighty mountain
Or a valley dark and deep
The Shepherd of my soul
Will be my guide

Truely, He is our shepherd, our guide. So nothing, absolutely nothing is too small or too big that He cannot handle!
