Rachel looks at her timetable on PIMS and shakes her head. With 4-hour laboratory sessions every other day on top of running around from one end of the campus to the other and three 300lvl papers, she reckons a very hectic semester ahead.

On hindsight, she heaves a sigh of relief as there aint any 8am starts. Five minutes later, she is seen flipping through the introductory manual for each paper given during the respective preliminary lectures. A while later, she opens her organiser and starts recording down dates and more dates. Seems as though there is laboratory reports or assignments due every week per module.

She remembers a promise in Psalms 121.
"...The Lord will keep me from all harm- He will watch over my life; the Lord
will watch over my coming and going, both now and forevermore..."

With that she closes her diary and smiles. :)

I'm exhausted!

Where is my zest and zeal that was present during GB@ FMPS?
Where is that energy that was present during cell?
Where is the sense of urgency that was present when meeting friends in SG?

I cant wait for the year to end. To return to my beloved CG. To return to familiar places. To have friends who care beside me. To return to doing things that I love.

3 months of summer vacation have almost come to an end. I've just finished course approval after queuing up for more than two hours. I wonder why the anatomy queue is always the longest for that matter. I reckon they should get more department lecturers to help out especially during course approval.

Anyway I've got sad news. I wouldnt be graduating at the end of 2007 as mentioned earlier in the year. Due to timetable clashes, I had to drop a particular module which is essential to complete my double major in biomed. In turn, I doubt I would be able to make it for NIE's July intake with graduation in August '08.

Aside from that, there was something which the lecturer asked me which I find hilarious till now.

Lecturer: Why do you want to do a double major?
Me: To supplement my degree and I reckon with it, there would be better career opportunities.
Lecturer: But a double major does not necessarily mean a better degree.
All it means it is just a fatter degree.

At that point, I should have said 'Sir, do you think more fats is better or less?' Hahaa..

Okay, i've side-tracked heaps. Here's a recollection of the day at the airport.
Had breakfast at Tiong bahru in the morning and headed to Fairfield with Shan. my final drill practice with the girls. Over the past few sessions, I've seen such tremendous improvement in them, they've became more self discipline and united as a whole. I'm certain with all the hardwork and commitment that laykwan and the other officers have put in, together with the splendid moves for the fancy drill, gold is sure to come.

Proceeded to the airport in the evening for my 9pm flight. I'm so thankful that even though our baggage had exceeded the limit, we weren't charged for it at all. Most of all, it was smooth sailing through the customs over at the NZ side.

A big Thank you to those who took time off to go to the airport. Thanks to U4+Zhien and Daniel, Sihui, Wingshan, Caroline and Keefe. You guys made my day!

I'm very much inclined to putting photos up but shall do it the next time. ~whee!
