This boy...

This boy is going to kill me!  He has been so bored now that Caydence is in school and dance ALL day!  He is constantly hanging on me and causing lots of mischief.

No nap:

A few weeks ago he stuck this huge red bead up his nose.  He always does these things when Danny is at school!  We ran to the instacare (because, of course, it was after 5:00) and $50 later, the doctor just looked at it for 5 seconds and said he couldn't do anything about it.  So the sent us rushing over to the ENT who also wanted to charge me $50, which I refused!  It took him all of 3 seconds to get it out!  Crazy boy.

And he destroyed my beautiful just-out-of-the-oven zuchini bread!

He's trouble!  I really wish he was in preschool, ha ha.  But I really didn't want to pay for 2 (and possibly 3) years of preschool!  I need to find something to keep him busy!

1st grade!

This cutie started 1st grade on August 25th.

She was so excited for her first school lunch that she packed it on Saturday!

And Will just couldn't stand to let her have all the pictures!

Seriously...

Seriously, guys, I saw wicked 3 times while it was here this summer!  I'm one happy girl.  We win the lottery again the last week it was playing.  I called Danny one day and begged him to enter on his way home from work.  First name called! Paige and I enjoyed ourselves and now I've seen it 6 times!  Love that show!

Davis county fair

We had such a fun time at the demolition derby last year, so we jumped on the chance to go again this year.

We wend a little bit early and let the kids play around.

The noise was a little much for the kids last year, so we came prepared!

We had a great time, but towards the end of the derby a car flipped over (the 3rd of the night) and the officials rushed in to make sure the driver was ok.  One official got right under the car, and the weight shifted and it slammed down right on top of him.  It was pretty horrific.  The paramedics were right on scene and worked on him for quite a while.  They called in life flight, and it landed in the field right behing the arena.  The kids thought the helicopter was pretty cool- I'm just glad they weren't old enough to understand what was happening.  The official ended up dying on the way to the hospital.  They cancelled the rest of the derby and donated all the money to his family.  It was just terrible.  We had such a good time, it was such a sad ending.

Ogden temple open house

We were able to tour the Ogden temple on August 12th.  It has been so great to have so many temples dedicated near us recently and to take our kids to the open houses.  I never had a chance to see the old Ogden temple, but the new temple is just beautiful.

We are excited for the dedication next week!

Buck's Lake 2014

We left bright and early Monday, August 4.  The kids had lots to do!

Unfortunately it rained for the first 24+ hours straight.   We entertained ourselves by making garbage bag ponchos and going for a walk on the beach.

And then we had fun with tattoo mustaches.

The kids were so worn out that they would fall asleep everywhere!

Love this!!

Lots of fun in the canoe.

A deer joined us for dinner!

Lots of walks to the quarry.

And every afternoon was spent on the beach.

And Will was in love with the dogs.

We had a great week!  Love going to the cabin.

Will's 3rd Birthday

Will turned 3 on July 26th.  It was a fun day, one that I was dreading!  My baby is growing up too fast.

We took him to his favorite breakfast place: Granny Annie's.

And for dinner he chose Winger's, of course.  Twins?

He was pretty excited that they have started serving his favorite food, waffles!

We had the grandparents over for presents and cupcakes.
