Hair

It's pretty funny how many posts I have about hair!  But it's a constant subject in our house.  Caydence has crazy hair day at school and she wanted a Mohawk like Will's.
Caydence brought her school pictures home and I freaked out a little.  Why didn't they at least tuck some hair behind her ears?  This picture is 99% hair and 1% Caydence!  I'm sure we will laugh about it one day.
Tried a cute new 5 strand braid.
Every morning Caydence yells and screams and hits and cries when I brush her hair.  One morning I had finally had enough so I took her straight to great clips after school and chopped 11 inches!  It was the best decision ever.

It's even more adorable curly!

Gentleman

October/Halloween 2015

We decided to throw some pumpkin seeds in our garden this year and we didn't do too bad!  The kids loved them and Will was always asking to smell them :)

Caydence's dance team performed at a Halloween Fair.  I only got this terrible shot from the side.  They were pretty cute.
The kids got to parade around the cafeteria in third Halloween costumes.  I couldn't get Caydence to smile.  She took the parade very seriously.

On Halloween we rode the train to dad's work to go trick or treating.
Caydence had to show us some of her moves in her cheer costume.

And Will was the cutest "Sake" ever! (Jake and the Neverland pirates)

UEA vacation part 2- Zions

We spent the last 2 days at Zion's National Park. Can you believe the view from the pool at our hotel?
The hotel also had an awesome beach.

Did some hiking and wading in the freezing water.

Don't let this picture fool you, they never get along.  Ever.
Riding the shuttle.
The view of the red rock cliffs in the park never gets old!
We took a break from hiking and got ice cream cones.
Caydence wanted the fruit cup instead :)

This was the view from our hotel balcony.  Seriously, stay at the Cliff Rose Lodge if you are ever in Zions.  And get the River view!  It will not disappoint!!

UEA Vacation part 1- St. George

It's prett strange to have to follow the school calendar in planning our vacations now!  We took our first UEA trip this year and we had such a great time.  We spent our first 2 days in St George swimming at the pool:

Seeing the Lottle Mermaid at Tuachaun: (Will fell dead asleep for the whole second half and they both plugged their ears most of the show :)
Spent hours at the Childrens's museum:

We heard the splash pad was closed for the season so we didn't bring swimsuits...

Cupcakes from 25 Main:

And lots of hiking at Snow Canyon:
