The Maggot Show
So, yesterday was a free magic show at the St. George Library. Caden and I were really excited to go! The whole way over there, he kept saying, "Mommy, going Maggot Show?" To which my response (every time) was, "Yes, honey." We arrived on time to a very full audience of children. It was really nice of "Max the Magician" to offer up his time and talents, but unfortunately, a "maggot show" might have been more entertaining :)
Oh well...
This morning, we went wakeboarding with some friends from our ward. Caden tried kneeboarding and loved it! (Don't worry, Shaune was with him on the kneeboard.) Also, I am learning to jump the wake, and actually got some air today...felt pretty good :) Of course, it has only taken me 5 years to get up the courage to attempt this :) Shaune tried some sweet tricks that I don't know what they are called, but he looked hot doing them :) Next time, I will take my camera to put pictures with the story...what kind of blogger am I to leave my house and forget something as important as my camera?

Saturday Night LIve
Check out Caden's new trick. We have decided that soap is too rudimentary for cleaning your mouth out. This is what we use in our family.

Here's a few pictures of the 4 of us on the 4th of July party at the Vernon Wirtlin Park in St. George. We had a blast, despite the 114 degree temperature!! Phew...it was SO hot! There were pony rides, a ton of fun booths, bouncy castles, 2 100ft. long slip-n-slides (you know my boys LOVED that), and a bazillion little kids :) I thought that these were fun pictures of Caden riding a pony, even though Shaune is the one with the huge grin and looks like he is having more fun than Caden. He (Caden) thought that that was the coolest thing ever, until we went glow-in-the-dark mini-golfing to hide from the heat afterwards. It has been the best 4th of July ever!
