For those of you who thought I was kidding...

...well I wasn't. ^^

This is Faye's 1st Program ever it was the Holiday program for her Preschool. I've never seen her more excited for anything...and once we experienced it....well let's just say I'm glad we brought the camera. They had her front and center and I'll never know why :P

...Mom and Dad were soo proud we took her out to McDonalds for dinner ;)

And now...Halloween

This year was the 1st year Faye was able to chose her own costume when I asked her what she wanted to dress up as I mortified to hear the word "Princess" escape her lips. Not that I have anything against the idea just that after her huge Princess Birthday bash, and nearly 20 princess dress-ups and accessories I was hoping for something a bit different. Giving into the will of my dominating 3 yr old I asked what princess she had in mind. Her answer made me so excited I think I actually clapped "I want to be sleeping princess BiOna" Faye-to-english translation "Princess Fiona" That's all it took, I was back on board, my princess dress wearing daughter wanted to be an ogre for Halloween. With Faye's creative help and me realizing how much Lydia's body build looked like Boo from Monster's Inc. we also had a costume for Lydia. It was a blast of a day and for all the sighs I had about princess's Faye talked me into dressing up as Snow White. ^^

The ever beloved ... "Catch-up Posts"

Okay so starting with Fall activities...I am blessed to have wonderful women and friends in our ward, and from that blessing came another . "mid-week/play group" My friends and I decided to put together weekly activities for any of those stay-at-home Mommies (like ourselves) and the kids. These activities have ranged from story time at the neighbors house to taking the public bus to McDonalds for lunch. Every week something new and This by far was our favorite we went a corn maze that was also a kiddie carnival complete with milk bottle throw cowboy roping and a hay bail jump. The girls had so much fun and after watching her friends on the hay bail jump the entire time and a couple close real good "i can do this" tries Faye FINALLY slide off the giant bails into the straw pile. Brave lil girl ^^

Tagged...

I search: in my 1yr old's mouth for cat food and other various "ick"
I wonder: If I'll ever stop saying "Wow! I'm a Mom!" or the word "rad".
I regret: "those" days...you know the ones I'm talking about.
I love: all those in my gene pool and a select few outside of it :P
I care: to much and then not enough.
I always: watch the Office
I worry: about Faye at Preschool
I am not: Super Mom
I remember: simpler times, though carefree where never this fun.
I believe: that despite my many short comming, my kids will make good people.
I sing: because the sound of my voice calms me on "those" days.
I dance: like an idiot just to get a laugh out of Lydia.
I don’t always: shave >.<...tell me about it!
I argue: about political things, so I keep my mouth closed when the topic is brought up.
I write: shopping lists ^^
I win: cheezy online photo contests.
I lose: my mind on "those" days.
I wish: I could keep my cool ALWAYS with my kids.
I listen: most intently when Faye tells me about her day at school or at a play date.
I don't understand: Mark's homework..."differential ...WHAT?!"
I can usually be found: surrounded by my girls and a few neighborhood kids as well.
I am scared: nothing normal, but the really twisted stuff gets me.
I need: chocolate on a regular basis.
I forget: most things that aren't written down.
I am happy: because of the life choices I've made. I was hesitant but they were definatly right for me.
I tag: FAMILY!!! Blood, marry-in, and inlaws! YOU ARE ALL TAGGED!

Progresson of a Warhead...

"Let's give this thing a try...Ooo!?...hmmm!?"
"Blah!"
"Maybe it'll be better on the second take....Ew! nope!"
This went on for several takes. Never once did she claim it was good...but she had hope that it would be each and every time she tried it....I mean it "WAS"candy after all....Wasn't it?

PunkRockPrincessLuau...

...It's been the month for Birthdays and some SERIOUS birthday bashes!

1st PunkRock...Our frineds threw a Rock'n'Roll party for the Lucy who was turning 1yr. It consisted of a tattoo parlor...a bling table...a garage-style rockband (playstation)...and even microphone cupcakes. Faye got all decked out in her lil'punker gear and had a blash.

(This is a picture of the famliy that I'm pretty proud of...I was asked to take pictures I got some good ones but this one was the best)

2nd PRINCESS...Faye's 3rd birthdya was next and the theme was "Princess Tea Party" She told me that she wanted a princess tea party with a castle cake nearly 4 months before hand...so I had no excuse...Her friends came all dressed in prince/princess best...we even has a couple of knights in attendance. Prnicess Faye took all her frineds on a treasure hunt, they made foam crowns and playe kiss the frog. Then of course they had the tea party. A friend of mine even read the kids a Cinderella book .... It was quiet the party and Faye still talks about it.

Oh yea and Faye got a "big girl" bike for her birthday.

3rd TIKI TIME...just a couple weeks after Faye's party her friend turned 3 as well. His party was a Luau Theme...there was a slipn'slide & sandbox shell hunt. Faye

addores the water so there was of course no

better party than this one because there were TWO pools!

No...I didn't forget about Lydia...She made her appearence at all the parties too but they were all in the middle of her naps so I didn't get pictures of her at them.

Summer is hear....

...at least it feels like it today. Seems like the weather can't quite decide what season it is yet. We'll have a couple days where it's so hot we have to come inside mid-day...then days it feels like brisk spring all day with the sun shinning...then cold hail/rain...and even an inch of snow fell in the valley last week :P But today looks be be shaping up as a good day for us to play outside.

Mark is done with School and has decided to take a break from it this Summer....YEA!! It may mean he'll be in school longer...but he's just so burnt out from going to school through the last three summers. We couldn't be happier to have him around more...espeacally Faye who has taken to getting really pouty and saying "I miss my Daddy so much." everytime he leaves anywhere. Like wise as soon as he walks into the door she screams "My Daddy Prince! You want to play with me?" He came home the other day to a chorus of cheers and jumping dances from his girls...and he thought that was pretty neat.

Faye is a typical mouthy, demanding, bossy 2.5 yr old, but in her defense she's also has the biggest heart and loves giving hugs and holding hands...even if it involves complete strangers :P She has no "Stranger Danger Sense" yet...we're working on that. She plays daily with two little neighbor boys who adore her and she absolutly can't live a day without seeing them. All three of them are the same age and all have August Birthdays. I love the play dates because the boys Mom's and I have become good friends.

Lydia will be 1 yr old this Saturday...I can't beleive my baby is getting so old. She's started walking every now an then...When she decides to walk she's very determinded and if she falls she'll stand back up and get a little farther, and fall, and get up, and fall, and get up. But She still favors crawling because she a jet on her knees :P Lydia is all attitude, and most of the time I don't know what to do with her, but she's my kisser and if your lucky and pick her up at just the right time she'll lean in and give you an imediate sloppy kiss.

I'm doing well...getting to know my Camera a little better...It's a fun toy for me...plus my inlaws gave me a Cricut expression for Mother's day... I keep telling Mark "It's the best gift I never knew I always wanted!" because I never so much as asked for one...but now that I have it I don't know how I lived without it....the camera/cricut combo makes for some promissing stay-at-home bussiness opportinities...that I'm all to excited about :P

Well that's is for us...love you all and hope your well...The Walkers

Walker UPDATE!!!

Haha! I thought these were funny pictures of the girls! The one of Lydi is the expression we got when one of Mark's friends (that she didn't know) tried to get her to smile for the picture. The one of Faye was just as she was waking up on a car trip to Grammy and Gramp Great Walkers house.

So as for the update. Mark has a new job. He works at Schibers Foods as a forklift opp. He's actually beem working there for quite a while. In fact he just got promoted to a forman possition which is more of a desk job. He enjoys the ppl he works with and I enjoy having him home 2-3 nights of the week ^^. He's changed his major to secondary education MATH H.S. TEACHER. He
really seems to be doing well, as long as he can wrap up this last Math class O.o

As for me MArk just got me a professional DSLR camera. It's so great I've taken FAR to many pictures, but it's a blast and there's so much to learn. I've been interested in photography for the LONGEST time, but this nice camera seemed to expensive to ever really HAVE my oun. Apparently Mark thinks it worth the money to give me a hobby that could help me make a lil money ^^.

Faye's back to working on the potty trainning after a needed break for both of us. She seems to be doing MUCH better this time and understanding it's not just something she can do for fun , but something she must do ALL the time from now on. She Loves danceing and asking Daddy to be her prince and take her to the Ball! She also sings and loves making her sister laugh.

Lydi's first year in nearly over and flew by MUCH faster that I liked. She's a bussy little girl now that she can scoot around on her belly. She also trys to pull herself up to things and LOVES to stand. She loves to yell and laugh at big sis and sing along with her nonsense screams.

Well...well...that's it for now. ^^
