On Tuesday, this kid called me. I didn't recognise the number and it appeared as one of my missed calls, so I just called back in case it was someone I knew.

Me: Hello

Kid: Hello

-awkward pause-

Kid: Hello, are you Lynn?

Me: No... (like wtf?)

Kid: Oh, are you Timothy?

Me: No... (yes, I was being very patient)

Kid: Are you ___ (forgot the name)

Me: No.

Kid: Then what's your name?

Me: Alice. (Now I've no idea as to why I answered this last question)

Kid: Oh, wrong number, byebye.

On Wednesday, in the evening, I received 2 calls from an overseas number.

The first time, I picked it up.

Caller: @%@&&*%#$ (I presume it's an Indian caller, because it sounds like Tamil.)

Me: *bewildered for a moment, then hangs up

Five minutes later, the same number appears on my caller id again, so I didn't bother to pick it up.

On Thursday, I received a call from an unknown number.

Me: Hello?

Caller: Hello. We are calling from the Bank of China (yes, the person is from China).

(then she switches to Mandarin) Wo xiang tong zhi ni bei xuan zhong ying de le mian fei the xing yong ka. (You've won a free credit card)

Me: ... *hangs up

I think Singtel should start doing something about phone number privacy, no?

We watched 'Shaolin' after lunch, which was not bad. I just hated that so many people died in the movie.

I think I haven't watched a chinese movie (non-Jack Neo) in years! And seeing Andy Lau in a non-Osim setting was kinda weird at first.

Then after the movie we wanted to take the cable car, but somehow we couldn't find the place.

I learnt the signs at vivo are quite misleading and we should just refer to the map. Or maybe it's just my navigational skills are poor slow.

I wanna go shopping ! Gotta stop using my nets though, argh.

I'm a happy girl now :)

My patience was tested to the limit today by someone.

I hope this is the last time I've to work with her.

But I know it's not because I've two more group assignments to go with the same group members, so...

It's only January and I'm already counting down to December.

My coursemates say I'm crazy. I answered I just want to get out of here. Here, as in Singapore.

I think my character clashes horribly with people who are very insistent on their own views and opinion. Like a matchstick and matchbox kind of clash. Argh.

One of those times when I just must have what I feel like having no matter how unhealthy it is.

Anyway, I am so damn glad Mr Roy Hodgson is out.

I would've sacked him a couple of months ago.

Fast forward. Now, I have mixed emotions.

My essay is done, finally! I'm going to hand it in later, and gotta go all the way down to school at bras basah. Fml. Well at least I'll be having an ice-cream treat at my favourite ice-cream place. XD

Yesterday's match was atrocious.

After this week will be mad hectic.

I hope for this year to be a better year, really.

After going through mostly downs and overcoming them, I just feel like I don't have the energy to go through the same things again.

So I'm wishing for a good year ahead.

Back to being a student and just concentrate on studies.

I really miss the student days. I refuse to be viewed as an adult, mainly because I'm not ready yet.
