As soon as I heard the Phantom was coming to Memphis I immediately thought of Lisa. Days later she called me and said she wanted us all to go. We had a yummy lunch and great seats. It wasn't quite what I thought it would be but I loved the second half of the show. I kept looking over at Lisa the entire time and her smile was priceless. So thankful that we were able to spend this happy time with her.

Wizard of Oz Fun
We finally got to do the Heritage Day Children's Parade. I actually made most of the décor myself for once... then I let Boogie put it all together. It turned out great and Palmer had a blast. There were so many awesome costumes and wagons. This is such a fun small town event.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road
This year we finally got to do the Heritage Day parade. The theme was Wizard of Oz and we had so much fun preparing. For once, I actually did most of the decorating myself and Lynn just attached it all to the wagon. Palmer had no idea who any of the characters were so thankfully the play was at the Ruffin the week before. Her favorite part of the play was the wicked witch.
Of course she had to ride the pony with her Chubs!!

School so far...
Palmer is loving school so far. She has been coloring, learning songs, playing on the playground, and bringing home germs. She has had a nasty cold and the stomach bug already. Other than that, she loves her teachers and her new friends! Right now she is preparing for Donuts with Dad on Thursday. She has been singing her donut day song nonstop and can't wait to have donuts with her BFF. He is pretty pumped too! A couple of weeks ago she got to make an all about me poster to show how God made everyone unique. I know she was supposed to do her own poster, BUT mommy had to help. I did let her put on her own stickers and add glitter! I can't wait to see what we get to do next.
