Spring Break Fun

After checking on our baby Monday, we started Tuesday off with a play date with our favorite girls. We haven't seen Annabelle in awhile so it was fun to get them all three together. They all three played with almost every toy Sonni has and got along great until we were missing a princess shoe. : ) These three along with a few others right behind them are going to be a handful one day!

Sweet Girls!!

That afternoon I got my FAVORITE piece down and all clean for the baby. I have a feeling the moses basket will be put to great use on the porch this summer watching big sister play in the yard. : )

Thursday we loaded up and headed to the Discovery Park to celebrate our anniversary with our favorite girl. I couldn't have asked for a better celebration. P had a great time even though she was not a huge fan of the BIG dinosaurs like I thought she would be.

The turtles and fish were her favorites.

After all the talk about this dinosaur park, this is as close as she would get.
She said they were too big and scary!!

Happy Anniversary to my best friend. When we started dating on and off in high school, I would have never thought he would be the one. I truly belie that I couldn't have chosen a better life partner and father to build a family. He keeps us all smiling.

Friday a group of us from work had planned to meet at the park, but it ended up being too chilly outside. The kids had a blast playing inside instead.

Hula hoop

We finally got some dinosaurs at Walmart! She is in heaven with her new friends
 and even knows their names.

Helping Boogie work on a project for the nursery.
She loves working with Boogie!

Getting Ready for #2

This week we have gotten all the baby things down from the attic. Wow- did I forget about everything a baby needs!! Our house will really be jam packed now. Today I washed some of my favorites for the hospital, some pink and some blue. I can help but feel so anxious about the next 5 weeks. I want to spend every minute with my sweet girl, but I am also exhausted and trying to get everything ready. Too bad I can't just take off work the next month to prepare. : ) I am praying every day that this transition will be easy on mommy and Palmer. I know everyone does it and it works out just fine, but I am freaking out just a little. I can't imagine loving someone else as much as we love and adore P. On the other hand, I can't wait to see her with her brother or sister. She is already so excited. Now whether she really knows what she is up for or not who knows? This morning we got out the tummy time mats, bathtub, car seat, swing, bumpo chair, and some of p's favorite baby toys and she had a blast helping me. I know she will be such a big helper.
On top of this whole we are about to have two kids thing is the huge anxiety of what in the world are we having. As much as I want a boy, Tanner and I both have a feeling that we will be bringing home princess. I guess we will find out in 5 weeks. Let the countdown begin!!

34 Weeks....

We went to check on our baby today, had lunch, and did some shopping. I am 34 weeks and OVER being pregnant. Everything about this one is different. I'm not sleeping much at all and my legs ache most of the time. Doctor pretty much told me to suck it up and that we were going the full 39 weeks. That destroyed my hopes of maybe going around week 38 :(. Oh well that gives us 5 weeks to get everything ready for a family of four. This week I am planning on getting some things down from the attic and attempting to get prepared. The nursery is painted and furniture has been redone, but I think we will wait on doing the rest until we find out what this BIG baby is. I keep telling myself it just has to be a boy but who knows.

By lunch time we had been to the doctor and two shops. This mommy was exhausted from getting her in and out of the car and shopping cart. Next trip we might need some help. : )

Welcome SPRING

We are so thankful for all the sunshine lately. I feel like we have been hibernating lately. We have been lazy and watching lots of tv while mommy feels yucky with the baby. Thank goodness Palmer is such a go with the flow toddler and is content doing whatever I suggest. I bet this next one is not going to be so easy. Maybe Palmer will rub off on him or her.

I have quite the obsession with taking pictures. It makes it even more fun when they are of this pretty girl. Believe it or not, she actually likes to pose and smile for the camera most of the time. We got out a spring dress a couple weeks ago for church and walked outside and it was freezing!! Oh well we grabbed a cardigan and made it work.

Love those curls

Headed to get her children's class picture made. She cried when it was over because she wanted him to take more pictures of her with the flower. We decided to go without a bow for once and they turned out pretty good.

Enjoying the sunshine and a Popsicle with daddy.

This girl will play with anything. We were on a walk and she found this in the yard and carried it all the way home. Then she cried and screamed because I wouldn't let her take it inside.

Last year Palmer fell in love with gardening. She was so excited to go check her "vegables" everyday. This year she is even more excited and can't wait to get it planted. Looks like we will be using the baby stroller to bring in all our goodies.
Enjoying her very own steak at Marlo's with Nanny and Huh. She ate almost half of it. She is crazy about steak.

All ready to go fishing with daddy!!

Pretty woman!! Nanny and KK brought her lots of new clothes and she had a blast playing with the bags.

She insisted on trying on one of her new swim suits and wants to go to the beach.

Finally some
Buttercups!!!

Mommy I want to play basetball.. On the porch!!

Finally watching Frozen

New alter Rabbit pjs from Nanny

Yay!! Finally daddy is home from the lake and ready for church with us.

Windy day picnic

Finally a weekend at SARDIS

Tanner has been to Sardis a few times lately and we weren't able to get away. This week I decided to take Friday off ( I never ever take a personal day for no reason! ) and we headed out Thursday afternoon. I was worn out and ready for a relaxing weekend. Palmer was so excited to get to take Charlie to his new home.

Snoozing with her buddy Charlie

Yay for Sunshine and dandelions.

Sweet Sardis kids!! These kids wouldn't know what to do with a big fancy lake house.

Playing with their flowers

Keeping us well entertained at lunch with her many faces.

Oh my goodness.... It's beautiful!!

She loves to sit in the grass and pick weeds. She is definitely her Boogie's child!!

Not my usual Sardis porch drink, but it did the trick for now. : )

Bubble time

More weed picking

She did NOT want to have her picture made with that stinky fish!!

Going to town with her bowl and spoon. When I asked her if she wanted a spoon, her eyes lit up like Christmas.

We can't wait to get back again SOON!! We need a boat ride.
