Christmas @ Nanny and Huh's house

Enter... Christmas Overload!!! Every Christmas we go next door after we finish our Santa at home. Karl and Nancy love to buy presents especially for Palmer. She didn't know where to look first when we walked in the den.

Isn't her table precious? She loves the cupcakes and birthday cake too. She recognized the dollhouse from when Allie got hers. She calls it her Barbie house. The tent will have to stay there because it is HUGE and would take up most of my den.

Yummy cake... With candles... Ahhh

Everyone has their own pile and we all oooohh and ahhh over each other's gifts.   It is so much fun. Tanner is patiently waiting his turn. : ) Notice my new dessert stand and floral arrangement for my table! I can't help but think what this den will look like in 5 years after KA adds her own children to the family. It will be crazy but FUN!!

She is in love with this tea cart and tea set. We had to go get a plastic one today though before she broke them all.

Playing in her tent.

Love Tan's new
Vest

The aftermath...

Helping mommy open her blue box!!

She even got Nanny in the tent with her.

She came out wearing Nanny's glasses saying cheese!!!

Of course I didn't get any pictures with my own gifts but baby #2 got lots of goodies too. We got several white and yellow outfits, a new double stroller, a new back pack diaper bag, and a swing. We are pretty much set. Hurry up MAY or even APRIL!!

SANTA

This mommy was up at 5 am patiently waiting on Palmer to even make a sound so I could go up and get her. She finally started stirring around 6. When Tanner told her Santa had been here she popped right up. She looked around and went straight for the Mushka doll and said... I love it! It is amazing the amount of joy a parent recieves while watching their children ooooh and ahhhh over their new toys. She is the best gift we could have ever imagined. I can't wait to add another one to the mix next year.

She is all set to go fishing with Daddy now. I figure she will gets lots of time on the lake with him this summer while I'm home with the baby. Watch out Tanner!!

Shooting hoops

She loves her park with a swing and slide for the little people kids.

Notice he is trying to show her the educational toy he insisted that she needed. She didn't pay any attention to it that morning and hasn't touched it since. Haha

Making toast

Baby food, diapers, and bottles!!

We let her play for a little then headed next door to see what Santa left over there.

New Christmas Eve Tradition

This year we had to change things up a bit. I have always spent Christmas Eve at my grandmothers and Tanner has always spent his in Brownsville with the Reids. Over the past few years we have split up and last year my family changed theirs to a different day and we were able to do both as a family. This year my family gathering was back on for Christmas Eve. They were both around the same time and we couldn't make both with the drive to Brownsville so we decided it was only fair to miss both. I worried about this for weeks and couldn't imagine not being with our families on such a special night, but we made it work. Instead we took P to the candle light service at church and she loved it. Tanner and I both hadn't been in years and we enjoyed it too. After the service we cooked steaks and opened presents between just the three of us. Hopefully we can continue this new tradition with the new baby next year or maybe work out a way to make our rounds with both families. We shall see.

Christmas Eve morning Glitzy brought a gift and a reminder to make cookies for Santa. P is always down to bake something!

Harassing the tree and what presents were left.

Moving them all around the room.

Sweet girls before candle light. I have LOVED seeing them so much over the holidays. I am already dreading them leaving and not coming back for so long. Just knowing they are in the same town makes my heart so happy! I'm praying they will get to come back and visit when the baby comes.

Singing with boogie

Her one present from us... Lots of clothes hand picked by her Daddy.

I was very impressed.

Helping Daddy open his presents

Notice all the duck tape... He knows I like to peek

He also knows I will shake a gift to death so every box was secured with more duck tape. : ) he even managed to surprise me with the MK watch I have been wanting forever!!

Gingerbread Fun

This year I really wanted Palmer to have a gingerbread party with all of her friends, but December gets so busy and there wasn't enough time. We managed to get these three together Monday night for gingerbread men. I was very impressed by how much they actually tried and had a blast. Even P was actually decorating and not just making a huge mess. Since then she has asked me several times to make a beautiful gingerbread cookie with her friends again. : ) her vocabulary is really expanding here lately.

Okay let's do this...

Everyone in their own zone

More sprinkles please

Sweet girl!!

A little help

Lots of green...

Love this girl's personality!!

Typical for these three

Always hugging on her Anderson

Tasha.. Too blurry!!

So thankful that these 3 will grow up making so many fun memories.

Christmas Numero Uno with the Wakefields

Saturday we had Christmas with the Wakefields. We spent the day eating, laughing, opening presents, and watching the girls play and run around like wild women! There is never a dull moment with Allie and Palmer in the room.

It's present time. This year Palmer is really into opening presents and gets super excited when she sees what's inside. This was a precious big sister ornament. She looked for a minute and went straight for the next one. I can't wait to put this on her tree.

Doc McStuffins!!!! We are on a serious doc kick right now so P was ecstatic when she saw this. She also got a beautiful smocked dress from aunt Lisa that I managed to not get in a picture.

The hit of the day was Allie's dollhouse. These two decorated every single room and played with every person for hours. Maybe P needs one too!

Rae loved her leggings and fur vest we got her.

LOVE!!!

So every year Tanner and Rae make an egg bowl bet. Whoever wins buys the other a shirt. Rae supported her new shirt proudly and didn't put up a fight. However next year might be different since she will be a HOTTY TODDY REBEL herself. We are so excited for her.

More dollhouse fun

My precious babies!! I am soaking up all the P time I can get
for now, but super excited to add another one. : )

My loves!!

Of course the box was the most fun for them.

Jingle bell dance party!

This morning Glitzy was on a date with Allie's elf Stuffy. I guess he decided
to take her for a ride on his big green tractor.

After church photo shoot as usual!!

Mom... Leave me alone!!!

Love that smile!!

Merry Christmas
