PJ's, Donuts, and Allie Reeves

Saturday morning Tanner played in a golf tournament with Uncle Kenneth and he brought Allie Reeves to play with us. She was just in time for Dawson's AWESOME pajama and donut party.

Sunday we decided to try some big girl panties because P will not quit taking her diaper off. She thinks that potty is a toy and made a few messes. We are in no hurry, so we will just keep entertaining the idea and trying to keep her diaper ON.

Running Around

Lately we have been all over the place and in my last few posts I forgot a few things.

The big day!! About 12 weeks ago Sarah Glenn and I worked the JA 5k and got inspired. We figured if all those people could do it, so could we.... And we did. We started running/walking a little bit that next Monday and have worked our way up to a pretty good stretch without dying. I am so incredibly proud of myself and so grateful for a partner that pushes me when I want to wimp out. We finally got up the nerve to do our first 5k a couple weeks ago in Davies Plantation. I was so nervous and had no idea what to expect. It turned out to be so much fun and such an adrenaline rush. I had set a record time of 45 minutes and I made it in 41. I can't wait to do it again.

After 4th at Sardis

Friday after the 4th we finally headed to Sardis. At least we got some time on the lake. We love meeting with with Whitney and her crew now that they have a new boat. It makes our trips that much better to see those sweet Mississippi girls.

4th of July

Every year Tanner says he will probably be in the field for the fourth and every year we end up at the lake. Almost every summer that we have been together, we have seen the fireworks on the water at Kentucky Lake. Its one of my favorite parts of summer. This year he was for real. We spent our 4th in good ole Covington. It was different, but we made the best of it. My family always has a get together during the fourth and we made our first appearance. We ate GOOD and got to spend time with Kevin and Tony who we never see. That night we cooked out and Lynn and Quenn brought fireworks. I just knew P would love them, but she was not a fan.

I love getting to spend time with my sweet niece and nephew. I am going to miss them being so close when they move to Millington, but so happy for them.
