This week MP is sitting up like a pro. She has finally got her balance and will even stop crawling long enough to sit up and play. She has also started singing herself to sleep and it is the sweetest sound I have ever heard in my life. This weekend we have been super busy. Friday night MP went to stay with Boogie and Chubs while we went on a much needed date to Houston's. Saturday we got up bright and early and headed to the March of Dimes walk to support sweet Annabelle. MP was such a good girl in the stroller and even got in a little nap. Then later on we had a family dinner at my grandmothers. Sunday we all 3 went to church and lunch. It was so nice to have Tanner there with us. MP was her usual busy self talking and smiling at everyone throughout the sermon. She loves being the center of attention and will quickly remind you that she is near by if you take your eyes off of her. We have started eating a little bit of mashed potatoes and she can NOT get enough.

Pretty Flowers

I realize that I have a serious photo addiction, but I LOVE taking pictures. Thursday afternoon Boogie and I took MP to Tanner's grandmothers for a little photo shoot. Her yard is always absolutely gorgeous and we decided to take advantage of the sunshine. She didn't cut up as much as usual because the sun was in her eyes, but they still turned out great.

Byeeee Byeee

For once we have had a very laid back week and haven't been too busy. We have stayed inside most of the time because MP has a seriously runny nose. I am hoping it is just from her new tooth because other than being snotty she is her perfectly happy self. In fact she has been so happy she thinks that she no longer needs to take naps. Friday and Saturday she made it from 6am to 8pm on only 30 or 40 minutes of napping. This equals one very tired mommy. After trying to for hours to get her to nap I finally said okay let's play.
This week we have been saying "bye bye" or "baa baa" either way it's something and she has been saying it nonstop. We have also got the wave down pat. She takes turns waving at everyone and sometimes practices when she is playing with her toys. She is so adorable and so FUNNY. Between her and Tanner I should be laughing for life.

Chillin in the sun

After trying for a nap for over an hour she finally puts her head down
and I was so excited... Minutes later she pops up and starts being a wild woman.

No No No... The gate is now UP

She is in love with her tent this week. She goes in
and out and waves every time she comes out.

MP is 8 months OLD!

MY big girl is 8 months old. I can't believe how fast she is growing. We are getting so close to the big ONE. Birthday party ideas are already running through my head like crazy. I would give anything to go back to those first 2 months I was at home with her. I miss my little cuddle buddy because now days she is always on the GO. Occasionally I can get her to crawl in the recliner and snuggle or nap, but it usually doesn't last long. I have realized that being this sweet girl's mommy was definitely my purpose in life. I love her more than anything in the world.... even when she is throwing a screaming hissy.. which isn't very often.

At 8 Months MP is:
Pulling up on everything
Cutting her 3rd tooth
Talking non-stop (and I hear she has been saying Da-Da, but I haven't heard it yet.)
Doing all she can to wave... esp. at KK
Drinking very well out of her sippy cup
Handing balls to us
Playing with the door stoppers
Really enjoying her toys esp. a set of stacking cups
Sitting in her high chair and doing great with the spoon
Sleeping all night upstairs in her own bed
Climbing the steps into the kitchen... over and over and over
LOVES doing anything outside esp. playing in the grass
Eating yogurt bites, but only if you feed them to her
INTO EVERYTHING!

I am the luckiest mommy in the whole wide world.

Sonni is ONE!

This week we have been enjoying the sunshine and playing hard. MP loves to be outside and has become obsessed with the grass. I think she would rather eat grass than baby food. We now have a second tooth. We had a couple rough nights of MP waking up in the middle of the night for no reason and then a few days later I saw the new tooth. We have also been having bath trouble for a few weeks now. All of the sudden she wanted no part of a bath. Not in the big tub, not in the sink, and not even in her duckie. After several screaming baths, we have finally gotten her back to loving her duckie. I guess we will just have to use this thing until she actually can't fit it in anymore. Whatever works! Thursday night we went to Anderson's first t-ball game and MP had so much fun crawling around and playing in the grass. Yesterday we got to celebrate Sonni's 1st Birthday. Everything was so adorable and we all had a great time. After having a long talk with MP about being sweet to Sonni at her birthday party, the two girls played without a single cry. THANK GOODNESS!
She loves riding in the cart with her new cart cover.

Hallelujah for a happy face in the tub again.

She wants to stand up so bad.

Happy Birthday Sonni

Uh Oh.... Double trouble

MP even managed a smile... Watch out!
