19 Weeks

I have had the best 2 week break EVER! I do not care anything about going back next week and would much rather stay home and play. However, the show must go on. We have had so much fun. MP is really starting to pick things up and attempt to play with them. She got some really cool toys and we have been checking them out one at a time. Sunday night Taylor, Ellie and Bailea came to exchange gifts. MP was not sure what to think of another baby checking out her toys! This week we had a play date with Anna, Anderson, and Caroline. They love "Baby Palmer" and treat her like a celebrity. We went to Chik-Fil-A in Millington so the big kids could play inside. Anna and I always check out Open Market and found a few cute dresses for the girls. Wednesday, Whitney and the girls came down and we have been with them every since. MP is changing so much this week. Her hair is getting fuller, but not too much longer yet. She has been giving some serious looks and I think she is teething too. She has been a little fussy the past couple of days, but it comes and goes between her big sweet smiles! I never knew it was possible to love someone this much. I can't get enough of her and I am really going to miss her next week. Today was a beautiful day so we went up to Anna's to play with the big kids. Caroline had to hold Baby Palmer as usual and MP enjoyed the sunshine.

More Christmas

After having Santa at our house, than at Karl and Nancy's we headed to Ken's for our usual Christmas Day breakfast and #4 of the Christmas Gatherings. We always have the most amazing food, especially Uncle Terry's dirty rice, and mimosas. Tanner's Aunt Meredith had her little boy there Patrick Thomas. He just turned a year old and was walking and crawling into everything. Ken always makes all the girls something really neat. This year we all got a set of wine bottles that she cut the bottom off of and you sit them over a candle. They are really cool and I already have them on my table. Every woman in that family is extremely talented and very handy to have around!

I LOVE this little girl more than I ever knew I could!

We missed you Maddie!

After Kens, we loaded up and headed home for the Christmas Celebration # 5 with Lynn and Quenn. She gave MP Tanner's silver spoon and fork from his Aunt Theresa and lots more goodies. I finally got Tanner to open his presents and even surprised him with a new tv for Sardis. For once he did not know exactly what he was getting.

Tanner got Lynn an industrial strength weedeater! You have to be a hardworking woman to get a weedeater for Christmas and be super excited about it.

She got puppets from MP

I got my BOGS!

At 3:00 we had to be at Aunt Judy's for #6. This is always one of mine and Tanner's favorite gatherings because we don't get to see the Bradshaws very much and they are so entertaining. I forgot my camera, but I know Aunt Judy took lots of pictures. MP was pretty tired and spent most of the time hanging out in Aunt Renee's arms. I think she might need her very own grand baby pretty soon. : ) We usually have about 25 people to play Chinese Christmas with and it is so much fun. This year since it was on Christmas Day several people couldn't make it, but we still had a lot of fun.

Last but not least, we headed to our Christmas Finale in Nankipoo, TN. I have met Quenn's family, but never been to his parent's house. This was by far the most entertaining Christmas of all. His parents are hilarious. I have never laughed so hard in my life. His sister, Talley, has two beautiful daughters that were in awe over MP. They were having to take turns over who would hold her next. Poor MP ended up crashing around 7:30 and slept all the way home and all night long.

Seven wonderful, fun, family filled Christmas Extravaganzas later...

This is my newly decorated living room. The next morning I got up and took all the ornaments and lights off of my 12 foot tree and chunked it out the front door. I guess I thought I was Superwoman but my back thought otherwise. I usually don't care about clutter or a mess, but I could not handle the tree and all these toys. Thankfully my mom showed up right after that and helped with MP while I got my living room back in order. I took a few things up stairs for later, but most of her new things are in the den because we need them to play. She has never had anything that makes noise until last weekend so she is very amused. So far her favorite is a Blues Clue's boom box. She grins every time we turn it on. We are truly blessed to have so many wonderful family members in our life who spoil us all. I would have never thought I could get so excited about opening MP's gifts. She got a lot of sentimental treasures that she will be very proud of one day. This was by far my BEST Christmas Ever. I can't wait until next year she will really be a mess. Merry Christmas

SANTA, SANTA, and More Santa

Christmas morning we got up had a bottle and went to see what Santa had brought. We didn't get her very much because we knew that her grandparents had went overboard. She didn't really know what to think about all her presents. Then we loaded up and headed to Huh and Nanny's for more Santa. The Wakefields always have a HUGE Christmas and we have always gone there first thing Christmas morning for ever.
All this for ME?

Yay Mommy I got a Pink Sock Monkey

Headed next door for more.

Waiting on everyone to get up so we can all go see Santa together.
Even with a baby we are still the first ones up and ready!

Her new chair just like Daddy

I am going to have to teach MP that a little blue box deserves a BIG smile.
She got a beautiful porcelain limoge box with ballet slippers on it.

Mr. Karl always does something sweet and sentimental.
These are my favorite gifts.

And of course I was tearing us as I read it. I never really got to know Mr. Gordon, but I have heard so many wonderful stories about him. I really wish MP and I both had gotten to know him.

Huh and his new electric guitar

Nanny loved her new Kindle Fire

I ran home to get Tanner's present from Drake. I took some pictures to Mr. Phil Ramsey and let him work his magic. As usual he created a masterpiece that will be treasured in our house forever.

Looks just like my sweet boy

I kinda like this thing!

MP got about 15 outfits, a Croco-Blocko, Baby Einstein dvds, a dvd player, a book that projects the pages onto the ceiling for her crib, lots of baby food, and lots more.

I had no idea I was getting this. Santa must have known that mommy was dying
for a Daivd Yurman bracelet. He did very very good!

On Christmas Eve we spent the morning preparing our house for the madness of toys. I took MP to meet Forrest and hang out with the Tatlocks for a little while. She smiled the whole time and they just passed her around. Forrest just couldn't believe that I produced such a sweet baby. Just give her some time and MP will start showing her true mommy colors. Later on Will and Melissa came to visit and got to meet MP too.

That night I finally got to join the Wakefields for Christmas with the Reids in Brownsville. Once again MP got lots of goodies and we had a great time. Tanner's cousin Lane had her three boys here from Ohio. They are 5, 3, and 2. WOW! I thought I had my hands full. They are little rowdy handsome boys. Tanner had a blast playing with them. Mr. Karl and RC put on a fireworks show and MP was amazed. It was really cold and loud, but she just kept staring at the lights. I think she is going to love fireworks just like I do. After we got home Tanner let me open my present early. He NEVER does this and always makes me wait until we are through with every other Christmas. I had been eying this lovely wrapped box for days now and had no clue what it could be. Once again, Tanner had out done himself. He always puts thought into his gifts and gets me something awesome every year. This year I got the other band to match my ring. I had mentioned it, but never thought he would actually get it. It is beautiful and I can't wait to get it sized! He also got me two new Pandora charms.

Hanging out with her Muff. She got a little hot and decided her
diaper and Christmas socks were the perfect outfit for Christmas Eve.

My new band!

I got the dog house for my Sweet Drake and the baby carriage
for my Beautiful Baby Girl! I LOVE THEM!
