NEW BLOG! NEW BLOG! jencyy.wordpress.com cos i have trouble uploading pics on blogger! so irritating! This blog is declared dead! i will update on wordpress instead (: random ANOTHER SLACK DAY. haa. been slacking all the while! eh, not exactly.. have been doing lots of my own stuff these few days. haha, everyone says im paid to slack & walk around! today ends the second week of my work! all i did in office was to learn how to look at the computer system, read through some reports, walk around the building, type ONE document, read up the handbook. i did this IN TWO WEEKS. other than that, i can blog-surf, go msn, watch videos, read books, prepare teachings, do QT, do missions fundraising planning etc.. Not that i dun wan to work k, just that there's simply NOTHING for me to do.. i even asked my trainer.. but nth to do la! seriously!! hahaha.. at least i can escort the contractor to walk ard the building later.. ahha, that should be all! (: oh, and my people are super nice! they came down to have lunch with me!!! the jurong guys & westwood ppl.. YAY, you rock! haha, im meeting crystal, sihui, jarren later! (: anyway, i did a personality test yesterday.. i-personate or sth. cant rmb.. its quite accurate eh! haha, even for dajie & wendy.. dajie has the same one as ting! so scary can, haha. tats like totally the opposite of me. wendy is the sensitive doer; the FRIENDLIEST OF ALL PERSONALITY TYPES. hahaha! im the laid-back doer, so cool can. i didnt know there was such a type. i didnt know phelgmatic people can be doers.. i just thought i was a bit less phelg than real phelg people.. haha. try it, abt 2mins!!!! only 4 qns.. www.ipersonic.com anyway, wow! we had a convert yesterday!! like finally!! i was asking God, how come we haven't been seeing weekday converts for so long?!!! oh, she's chengzhen's classmate.. i ate buffet with her before lar.. haha. GOD! WE STILL NEED 16 MORE CONVERTS!!!! pour in huayi, westwood & fuhua!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wah. im very high now. gosh. i duno what to do? shall go blog-surfing then. haha. adios! 30.9.08
brand new day! it's fabulous tuesday! came across this on ourdailybread & i find it so true! "there is only one source of divine wisdom to direct our steps each day." guess i'll be posting more frequently in the days to come! haha.. funny stuff. my trainer's on half day leave today and whole day leave on thurs. So i tink i'll be reading up more books, surfing net to read up news articles etc! haha, i read up many stuffs yesterday on the web... read up about nutrition, metabolism, F1 etc.. that's so rare! but cos i dun have newspaper.. haha.. I think this is a great place for me to grow! YAY! (: oh, anyway. mirrors is freaky! i felt like i just fought in a war when i came out of the cinema.. emotional trauma!! but no after effects at all.. cos the show was way too gross! many many movies i wanna catch! painted skin, the chaser (i heard its good), bao chi tong hua.. hopefully no more horror movies for me yet.. what else, what else? SLACK DAY. HOHOHO. im finally updating! cos im slacking in the office right now. its my first day of work! not that i wana slack, there's really NOTHING to do!! i sat down in the office at 830am, waiting for my trainer to come. and guess what? He reached 2 hours later! haha. thank God i happened to buy a magazine before i came! So i spent the 2 hours writing the mag, reading through some news articles on the net and i think i dozed off for a little while.. too bored! ever thou my trainer came, i still had nth to do!! so i read my book and observe wad he was doing.. The only 2 things that i did the whole day was to follow 2 colleagues to walk around around the building to observe.. and read up the management report.. the funny thing was that my trainer left at 4.30pm! so i've been reading the reports and surfing the net till now.. 10 more minutes and im off for a movie with regina! YAYNESS. I THINK IM REALLY BLESSED! God really dotes on me! He blessed me with a job that's even better than wad i prayed for. I prayed for a job that the location is not too far frm my house (YAY. its quite near & God blessed me a job at my ministry place!), a pay that's not too low (the company gave me wad i asked for & even topped up with HP allowance), 5day week (the webby stated 5 1/4 day but it's actually 5days!). Not just that, i dun have to be in office attire! can like wear tshirt & jeans.. THANK GOD! haha, i hate office wear seriously! esp wearing heels, pain! not just that, im supposed to work till 6pm but trainer says i can leave at 545pm.. (: God is faithful! (: I really pray that I will grow in this place! Im really thankful for the teachings in the services these few days. They really helped me lots! cos one thing i kept reminding myself; Col 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man! I also set my objectives for working and I pray that I'll grow lots more & make an impact in this place! To everyone, jiayou for exams! (: off to watch MIRRORS! *shivers* 3.6.08

The youths there are so good-hearted! oh, i'll love to have them back here!!   this is the deco they made for display in the church! NOAH'S ARK! (: had so much fun, we watched narnia too! it's not aired in singapore yet. oh, i tink its okay lar. not that nice. fungmin, xuanting and me made it a comedy! so funny!! Next up, HOPE PJ! PJ was a memorable trip as well. We held workshops, MCG and even went shopping!  the small 'service' we had! (:
We did a banner for KL Youth camp! (:  MCG at A&W's!! oh we ate A&W!! haha i miss the curly fries! i tink Hope PJ have gifted people eh. There was a guy who directs the skits for ESS etc. We watched 2 video clips. so cool. All of us were like 'kop, kop' after watching them! haha!! cos they're good eh, seriously! The plot and acting are so natural. Got to know a girl called shannen. she can draw, paint, play guitar etc. i tink she can act as well, if i dun rmb wrongly. i felt a tugging in my heart and even prayed for her! i believe God can use her greatly in her giftings, talents and abilities! (: Caryn hosted us in Mentakup. She's a powerful lady! She was the pioneer of the church, and she has 2 amazingly ADORABLE kids!! the powerful Cs in the family. Claudia is 5 and Cynthia's 1 year old!! ohoh, Claudia's on my hp wallpaper! (:
gosh, ISN'T SHE ADORABLE??!! I actually asked Caryn if i can bring them home!! haha, she allow me to kidnap them home for a week!! man, they are so cute! Claudia said I'm 6 years old! haha. and she was so sad that we're leaving on the last night. She didnt want to come near to us and had such a sad face. Cute!! and she's so pretty! A clever girl too! She knows how to operate my camera eh! She took lots of pics and even videos! (:  they have these colouring competitions for the kids! so colourful!  SOW chart for the youths! so encouraging!!  the MCG attendance! woo~ the hope PJ adults went over to Hope Mendakup for missions trip also!! for like 2 days 1 night to learn and help them in service the next day. so cool!! like an exchange. gosh. i felt so ashamed when I saw them doing things. they had such a great sense of excellence!! they practised praise and worship for like 2 hours? i also chatted with a lady who just converted at the start of the year.. She practised her testimony-sharing for like more than an hour? wow! amazing eh! a lot of times, we may feel thta what we're doing is so insignificant! testimony only! like just 3 mins? but then, i saw how she practised.. she tried to memorised the script fully, shared with such sincere feelings and joyfulness. man, i felt so ashamed. really ought to give my best in serving! people have different concerns and perspectives over different issues. how do we balance them? im not emoing. just my train of thoughts. but its not so long either. we're all sensitive beings. why was i so burdened to the point that i can't sleep? why did i even bother to pray about it? come to think of it, its so different now but i'll rather have it this way. at least i wont accumulate it into the size of a snowball and let myself die. why cant i express my feelings? everyone plays a part. i may be biased. tell me please. but im trying my best thats why i tried to think objectively! i dun wan to be biased. how do you feel? how was reflection and evaluation on your part? what do you think? =) If there's anything wrong with us, please tell us. at least we will know.. don't fear. i've took courage. if you should, just say it. all ears. im doing my best to be objective. =) if anyone is unclear about anything, what can be done next? how do we proceed? just ignore? or throw the awkwardness aside? ... i hope not. God.. why the uneasiness? isnt it supposed to be this way; arent we to express how we feel? i don't know how. i guess all of us are helpless. im sure that the atmosphere has changed, the feeling has changed. but i hope everything will pass. not trying to deny, but i hope it will be yu guo tian qing. im sure everyone is hoping to be back to the start. =) but i know its already different now. im sure no one knows how to react, how to play and how o be ourselves. im sorry. i think im oversensitive too. just be yourself. please.. i will too.. if not it's gonna be so hard for all of us. God, we commit this to you. help all of us. bring us out of this. bring me out of this. no matter what, thank God we first started. i treasure it. =) into your hands; praise Him for he makes all things GOOD. one, two, three, four.... thank you jesus! WEST D HAS 4 CONVERTS yesterday!! im really VERY VERY HAPPY,ELATED, DELIGHTED, JOYFUL, GRATEFUL, JOVIAL! its been so long since we reaped a bigger harvest! thinking back, we didnt reap at all during xmas last year. Nor did we reap much all these while for the past few months and last week's ess. there was only like 1 convert each time.. im really very amazed by the working of God in WEST D!! WEST D IS BACK IN ACTION!! the glory of God will be greater than ever!! =) i really thought my unit's going to 'KUA' soon! but i was still positive about growth of course! haha. but i didnt really expect it to be a bit faster like God blessing me with converts now.. haha. i dun really know what i was thinking.. but i prayed for the visitors to convert.. eh, weird heh? haha. some testimonies to share!!! 1. my contacts called me on fri night to ask if they could come for yesterday's service! haha.. and really thankful!! and they converted!! 2. FUHUA SEC IS REVIVING!! haha.. thank God for sharon! we had 2 converts frm these 2 wks of ess! and one of them is really sensible! thank God!! 3. someone frm JC group actually has a YUHUA SEC 1 convert and she's bringing her next wk.. NOT JUST THAT, she say the convert will be bringing her frens and she's got a HUAYI SEC contact coming for svc too!!! 4. im very proud of those in west D who worked really hard!! special mentions: my beloved CLs boonie and a na! huaiqian, sihui, eugene, sharon etc!! MERCI, JESUS! and lastly, JENCY'S A FREEBIRD NOW!!!!!!! EXAMS ARE OVER!! HALLELUJAH!! |
