ONE BEDROOM - TWO IDEAS IN DIFFERENT COLORS

The stylist Julia Green together with the photographer Armelle Habib, did a great job for Homelife magazine. They worked in one bedroom and created two styling ideas - one in pink and one in blue. They used different accessories to create the space calm and cozy. I personally think that this is a great source of inspiration for those of us who are wondering what color to choose for the bedroom.

STRIPES AND OLD WOOD IN THE HOME OFFICE

I have a special feelings for the home office. I spend many hours there and I constantly look for beautiful and inspirational small corners. Right now my small home office is in white with some copper details and is located in our bedroom and has nothing in common with the one on the picture. But someday I will have a place like that with a gorgeous old vintage chair, wooden details and lovely accessories.

FOR STYLISH BABIES

Zara is my all time favorite store when it comes to sweet baby clothes and gifts for kids under three years. And now is a period where I have few friends with small babies and I’m constantly looking for inspiration. And in Zara not only the clothes are nice, but also the styling and their presentation.

LIFE LESSON: IT IS ALWAYS HARD TO SAY GOODBYE

Hello everyone. How was your weekend? 

If have to be completely honest my weekend was a bit hard. I finally put off my pink glasses and realized that moving has also a bad side. The hardest part is to leave your favorite people behind. Yes, we will still be friends forever… but a whole big ocean will separate us and in the best case we will see each other two times per year. Huh.

I still don’t know how I will survive through all this. One of the hardest things for me is to say goodbye. And for all this nine years in the Czech Republic I have so many important people for me to whom I’ll have to say goodbye. And I really don’t like goodbyes as I said already. I simply don’t like when people are sad. 

Besides those dark thoughts I did some scouting for my shooting on Thursday and I discovered a really nice park nearby and here are some pictures from it. Everything now is so green and pretty. The sun is shining and we shouldn’t be sad anymore right?

I’m pretty excited for the upcoming month because I’m planning to spend it in Bulgaria. Visiting some pretty nice places and the traditional roses festival. If you remembered I mentioned it few months ago.

WHITE AND BLUE IN AN OLD HOUSE IN MOROCCO

I love this beautiful dining area and the hallway below from this house in Morocco. White and blue is my favorite combination and I always connect it to the Mediterranean style. 

Actually the whole house, which you can see here, has a very bold style with interesting geometric patterns and tones. In the hallway you can notice another great idea: those wide stripes are used to lead people from the entrance to the dining room, filled with natural light and beautiful furniture. 

P.S. the floor is actually made of ziz-zag tiles from “popham design”

STUNNING BEACH HOUSE

I’m totally in love with this stunning Beach House in Sorento. I found it in the beautiful Australian blog “Share Design” and … oh… I don’t know even where to start. Ok... first the color palette - my favorite at the moment – white, wood and blue. Here and there you can see copper accessories, but the main palette stays close to the natural colors with some beautiful pastel touches. Second - the furniture – I’ll die for these safari chairs in the dining area. And the bathroom - so stylish and minimalistic without unnecessary things. Simply amazing.

Oh and I almost forget to tell you that this weekend house was designed by Shareen Joel Design.

Have you heard the name of the jewelry designer Anna Ławska? Today I accidentally came across her work and guess what – I fell in love with it. Anna is a young Polish designer from one of my favorite cities Poznan and has an amazing taste. Her jewelry is really delicate with simple forms and is very very impressive.

A FORMER ABANDONED HOUSE IN BRUSSELS

What do you think will happen when an interior designer discovers an abandoned house and wants it for himself? This exactly happens to the interior designer Lionel Jadot. He found this house abandoned in Brussels and turned it into an amazing home - with beautiful vintage furniture, white and lots of wood. A GREAT IDEA FOR YOUR HOME OFFICE

The spring is the time when we can let the green to enter our house, to open the windows and enjoy the beautiful weather. I’m a bit tired of eggs and table decorations so I wanted today to find a great idea for my future home - yes I’m still scouting for a rental house in San Francisco and this makes me dream. I’m always so excited of changes… 

But enough with my personal emotions - look what a great idea I discovered today. What if instead of normal leg for your working desk you build it yourself using… books? Isn’t it original and so practical… at least for me - because I always have so much books in my working space.

ARE YOU READY FOR EASTER?

I love Easter. It is one of my favorite holidays because unlike Christmas the spring is already here and the weather is warmer, or at least it should be. In my country Bulgaria where the people are mostly Orthodox Christians we don’t hide and seek eggs but instead we fight with them. Opponents smash their eggs into each other with the egg left unbroken proclaimed the winner. The winning egg is kept until next Easter and is a sign of good luck and health. 

So today I’m planning to paint my eggs and make them beautiful. And for now I’m still collecting ideas how to do it. What are your plans?

DEAR BENTO CHAIR, I LOVE YOU!

Do you know the Bento chair? It is designed by the Swedish industrial design studio "Form us with love" for "One Nordic Furniture Company" and it is amazing. I think that it is the perfect chair for any dining area - with beautiful shapes and material. There are four options to choose and I currently can't decide which one is my favorite. 

The Stockholm studio "Form us with love" by the way has few remarkable design products and you can see them bellow: "Unfold" for "Muuto", “RBM Noor” that has a Red Dot design award for 2013 and “Levels light” for "One Nordic Furniture Company".
