Party favours

On friday she had her real birthday and treats at school. On saturday she treated her hockey team. Sunday she had her party for the family. And tomorrow she will have her party-party for friends. Pfff, mama is pretty tired, because there are so many things to do besides all the party preparations. For the key ring wallets I used this fine tutorial. All wallets have different prints. All from one A3-sheet of constellation fabric. But my complete stock of coloured zippers is gone. She will hand these out after the party filled with Mars and Milky Way, to stick to the theme.

Vlijtig in the december issue of Knippie! It's a Dutch creative sewing magazine. I wrote a tutorial for making felt flowers for the childrens jewelry supplement. We're excitedly waiting for the magazine to fall in our mailbox. Especially our youngest, because she is eager to show her picture in the magazine to her friends and teachers. Would you like to make your own felt jewelry? I assembled a flower diy-kit for making at least five felt flowers. It's for sale in my recently opened etsy-shop.

Order your own unique hand-carved stamp!

My stamps are hand-carved and mounted on a wooden back. Stamps can be personalized by a drawing with typical characteristics or/and a name. For the little faces I work with pictures. So every stamps is unique. These personal stamps make great gifts. They can be used as ex-libris, on cards, tags etc. A little gift-bag and/or a small inkpad (2,5 x 2,5cm, in many colours) can be ordered with the stamp.

If you wish to order a stamp
1. Send me an e-mail at vlijtigdesign[at]live.nl letting me know what kind of stamp(s) you would like to have, do you want a giftbag and/or stamppad to go with it and where do you live so that I can determine the shipping-costs.
2. I'll let you know by e-mail what it is going to cost.
3. When you agree and want to order, I'll send you a paypal-invoice or give you the information you need for a money-transfer.
4. As soon as I have received your payment I'll start designing and carving and within two weeks your order will be put in the mail.

Costs
A stamp will cost 15 to 30 euro’s (+postage) depending on size and complexity. Inkpads € 3,-. I´ll send an invoice via PayPal.

Risks are for the buyer of the stamp. Tell me if you want the package to be send insured. I´ll let you know what that would cost.

For sale

It was over fifteen years ago that I followed a course in printing-techniques. I've never screenprinted since then. Last week I had a one-day-course to refresh my knowledge. And above you can see the results. Two different girls. The flowergirl is printed in blue and brown, the bookgirl is printed in blue, one with and the other without background. I decided to put them up for sale. So, if you like to have one of these lovely girls in your house, just send me an e-mail.
