Ameixia, EN2 north, (PT) 733

Official MoHo site, populated by many frogs who seem to be full-timers.

The village is not far away, but seems to lack shops. There were a few bars.

There are foc facilities; showers, WC, tap, K7 MT in a manhole, and grey water dump platform surrounded by re-cycling bins.. No wonder the frogs are are here as the EHU are also FOC.

Messines, EN270 (PT) 732

Behind the Roosters bar, run by English speakers, A private aire run by Lukas.

Tired and in need of TLC, but legal apparently with K7 dump, EHU @$1.00, WC and showers included in the $7.00 cost per night.

Mostly full timers, but this place is OK and Roosters Bar does a great English breakfast daily and music nights Tuesdays (Solo & folk) and Saturdays. (Rock).

Loule, outskirts (PT) 731

Two car parks, one lower and more level, the upper more sloping. Serve some kind of religious centre or shrine.

Only bins and re-cyling. on the upper level

Cachopo (PT) 730

Hilltop, picturesque village on the EN 124. Didn't take any pictures.

BUT, on the road south to Tavira (EN397) there is a CP and WC on the left at the cemetery. Shortly afterwards, a picnic area.

EN 124 (PT) 729

After the junction with EN2 and still heading west on EN124, there are many pull ins on this beautiful and winding road.

Some may have soft verges, others have facilities like this one.

EN 124 - junc with N2, (PT) 728

Pointing north on N2, there is a sign for facilities. One for next time

See later entries. The signpost is to be respected.

Salir on the EN12 (PT) 727

On the main road, outside the village there is an open air fitness park. Many machines and two parking bays. Nothing being used as I passed by in Oct. 2020.

There are recycling bins and a big old tap and no signs prohibiting any overnights.

The Finte or water supply

Benfim, on the EN124 (PT) 726

On the main road at the foot of the village, a nice pic nic area. All taped off in Oct.20 due to covid.

No where near and nothing to do with the picnic area, but Benfim has a nice village washroom.

Alte on the EN124 (PT) 725

There is a long bays, herring bone, slightly sloping CP opposite a WC block and next to a recycle centre not far off the 124. In Oct 2020, the WCs were closed due to CV19 but there was a sign which indicated that K7s could still be emptied into a manhole outside.

No signs prohibiting MoHo's either parking or overnighting. This CP is very close to the Alte Fontes

The area is a bus stop for the kids bussing to local secondary and middle schools so the mornings are noisy.

The sign is just visible indicating the manhole.

There were also MoHo's parked up around the cemetery. Where obviously there is water, and apparently a manhole for K7 MT'ing. However, I was told the GNR come to move them on from time to time.
