6 more months!

This morning the girls were lying in my bed together and I had to take some pics. Vivian got under the covers with Vi and they were snuggling! It was too cute. Here they are, Vi is a little blurry but you know how squirmy babies can get!After snugglefest, we had some lunch guests! Morgandi (please check out her blog, it is so funny!) was in town for the holidays and stopped by with her adorable daughter Chloe to have lunch with me and Dara. We had to get a few pics of the next generation together. They don't know it yet, but in 6 more months Chloe is moving back to OKC and they're all gonna be BFF's. And Stella will be here by then so she can join the club too!

Jason stopped by to pick up his girls so I got a shot of him and his mini me.

And I had to take a pic of Chloe. Check out those sparkly eyes on her!

Here we all are together. Sad to see Morg leave, but happy to know that in 6 more months she'll be back!

Snow Way

I bundled Viv up the other day for a trip to the backyard to play in the snow. I thought she would have fun, man was I wrong! She mostly stood in one spot looking at the snow and holding on tight to all of her Disney princess dolls.

She was very upset that the snow had gotten onto the top of her ladybug boots.

"Mom, you can't be serious that you want me to play in this! Take me back inside now!"I thought she might be warming up to the idea when she ventured out towards the swing set. But that's where the tears started.

And, we're done. Sorry snow, not this year.

Our family through the years!

I thought it would be fun to put our last 5 family Christmas pictures all in a row! Here's our first one the year after we got married. Look at us, all footloose and fancy free. And to think that I thought taking care of a dog was difficult back then! Boy did I have it easy.

Here we are the next year, all hay bale style. Still just us and Ollie Pup Boy. Back when getting reindeer ears to stay on the dog was the most difficult part of the picture!Here we are less than a month after Vivian was born. Look how tiny she was! Notice that the dogs (we had Daisy by then) are not in the picture. We went ahead and Photoshopped them into the Christmas card picture that year. This is last year right after I found out I was pregs with Violet. No dogs in the pic this year, they're just too much trouble! And here's an outtake from our family pics this year. Viv went pretty much insane the whole time and ran around acting a fool during the photo shoot. Maybe next year we'll get brave and get all of us plus Ollie and Daisy in the picture. We're gonna need a very patient photographer. I hope you all had a great Christmas!

From the Stansberries! Don't you think it should be pluralized like that? I do. And it's my last name, so I get to decide! Merry Christmas from the newest addition, baby Violet. She just turned 5 months old on the 21st, I can't believe she's getting so big! And Merry Christmas from Viv! She's very excited about Claus coming. They're on a last name basis.

Violet's First Cereal

This weekend at my mom's I decided to give Vi her first taste of rice cereal. I have to refer back to the good old blog and see when I gave it to Viv. Looks like it was four months, so I went ahead with it! This is her before. she's such a happy girl!She's knows somethings up, she's never been in a high chair before. Oh oh! She got the huge eyes after the first bite. Granny decided that she needed to be held, so she went ahead and finished the job while I took pics. Violet ended up liking it and was getting the hang of it!And she finished it off with milk!Tomorrow is her four month appt. so I'm excited to see what she weighs and how long she is now! On another note, our trip oversees was so much fun! I'll be posting pics later!

Viv's 2nd birthday party!

Last weekend we had Viv's birthday party! The theme was Minnie Mouse and Katie Rowten made the awesome cake. The party went great and here are some pics from the party.

Minnie Mouse cookies that I made. I didn't have a cookie cutter so I just had to made do. Viv did not know what was happening when everyone started singing to her!And she certainly didn't want to blow out any candles!But she did want to eat the cake! It was sooo good!She's also an ice cream girl so she took a huge bite!Aunt Mo got her this car, which she loves! We got her the table and chairs and she loves sitting there and coloring, playing with her animals or having a tea party with her babies. We all went outside to play because it was such a beautiful day!My nephew Anderson got to come to the party too! Isn't he adorable? My niece Sophie playing in the leaves. Check out that killer smile!
Anderson like the leaves too. My mom wanted a pic of all the grandkids together but it was not easy. This was the only one where almost all of them were looking. And Vivian wasn't crying.

Happy birthday Vivian, you're the best girl a mom could ask for!

Weekend pics!

We had a pretty busy weekend! I had a photo shoot Saturday morning, then met the fam over at OC Homecoming where they were having lunch, pony rides, games and all that. Viv and Landice had a great time dancing together and watching the Summer Singers. Violet hung out in her stroller and enjoyed listening to the music.

That night, Matt had a show and I shot a wedding. The next day I was a hostess at Melody's baby shower.
The "triplets" played out in the backyard and had a great time running around and chasing each other. I had to get a group shot of them all sitting down. Not easy!
