Colder than..... by Tracy Blackwolf

 Hello all!!

Today on the blog I have a fun art tag~ even though its warmer here right now than normal, We know the really cold will be here soon....

So for this art tag, I used my gel press! I don't use it often and I don't know why...

So I sprayed some inks onto the gel press. Just two colors and then I smashed my tag onto the sprayed areas.

Dry The tag, then Go back to the gel press and pick up the rest of the drips.

Dry that and then I dipped a paint brush in some white dye ink and tapped over the tag for the snow spots. Dry that.
Once that is all dry, I stamped the thermometer in a gray ink. I then drew on the icicles with a white gel pen and then went back over them with A white acrylic pen. I wanted them really white. Then I stamped the tree branches in brown and then white pigment ink.
Then I stamped my girl and painted her in and added the hat-its a brad!
I went to the computer to make the verse, I printed on a card I had sprayed with the inks. Cut it out and added to card !Done!

A fun, funny art tag!

Inlay for my phone case by Arwen

 Hi Lovelies ❤

Today, I'm here to share my newest inlay for my phone case.

And that's the way, I made it:

1.) I used watercolor paper and my selfmade template which fits for my phone.

2.) After cutting, I used my Zutter to round up  the edges.

3.) Now, I need my template to place the right position for the camera hole.

4.) Next step - choose a rubber stamp image :)

5.) I placed the image on the edge, so I have such enough place to create a background.

Let's go!

The stamps, I used:

- Banksy Wall Singer

- Swirl

Other stuff:

- Staz on

- Watercolor paper

- Distress Reinker

- Zig Color Pen

- Distress Oxide

- Aquamarker

See ya soon *mwah*

IMAGINATION by Fran Chalmers

 Hi everyone!

Today I have made three ATC's. Children have great imaginations when playing, which I am showcasing with these stamps.

First of all, I stamped out all the images onto thick paper, using my stamping platform to make sure no detail was missed.

I made all the backgrounds using distress inks and a small brayer.  Once I had made the backgrounds, I coloured the images, cut them out and stuck on to the backgrounds.

(I can see I've missed a bit of colouring on this one - will have to sort that!)

I added the word "imagination" on each ATC (leaving out the "pure" part of the stamp)

Stamps Used:

Other Items Used:
Distress inks in Spiced Marigold, Candied Apple, Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Uncharted Marine
Small Brayer
Memento ink in Tuxedo Black
Copic Pens
Chrome Pen

See you next time!

Fall Leaves by Tracy Blackwolf

Hello all!

for this weeks blog I did an art tag- for the last days of fall....well, before snow fly's  at least.

For this art, I used Brushos watercolor  powders. There are other brands out there as well. So I stamped the tree with versaclaire black. Dry with heat tool. then add a small spritz of water.
Then add a very small amount of  red brusho powder around the crown of the tree, a bit on the ground. Then add in more colors as you like as well as more water as needed. Work in small amounts. The powders have a mind of their own and go places they want to go. I think it adds to the beauty.

Then I stamped the pumpkin next to the tree. I painted it in with the Brushos.
I also started to paint the ground. Using a light brown, blending in the bottom of the pumpkin.
Then I added in some black. I used black soot distress spray for that using a paint brush. Could have  left it alone at this point, but I wanted more "leaves". So I added more Brushos.
I used a wet brush to control the water on the powders a bit. Once I was happy with the look of the tree, I used my heat tool to dry the tag, stopping the blending process. once dry, I used Distress sprays and my paint brush to do the background. Spritz some color on, move it around with the brush if needed until happy with the result. Then dry carefully with heat tool. You could add a sentiment or leave as is.

That's it! Fun to play with. play and experiment-
Until next time, stay arty!

Pumpkin    18626

Other supplies:
Inks: Distress sprays: Squeezed lemonade, Salvaged patina, black soot

No one took me serious by FRAN CHALMERS

Hi everyone :)

I have lost my mojo a bit so I have made only a simple postcard this time.

First, to make the background I blended three distress inks - Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet.  I went round the edge with Villainous Potion.

I then stamped the elephants on card, making sure they were really black.  I wanted them to stay just black and white as they are so detailed. I then cut them out.

I stamped the sentiment straight onto the background.

.I went round the edge of the elephants with a black pen to make sure all the white bits weren't showing after cutting them out.

Before sticking the elephants onto the card, I stuck some washy tape for them to sit/stand on.  I also went round the edge of the card with black fine liner to add more interest.

Quick and easy! See you next time.x
