Yup... It's coming to the end of the year... The very last day in fact... Time flies...
I guess it's the time of the year where everyone is reflecting on the past year and making new resolutions for 2006. Me? Well, let's just say I have been traveling so much that I have hardly the time to sit down and reflect... It has been a hectic year, and more hectic year end than I ever had... Perhaps because of that, and my, of late, grumpiness, I have just been informed that I will not be traveling for the next 2 weeks! Heh... Must have been my facial expression when I heard I had to travel again this week up to KL (for the upteen time) and the exhausted, moodiness coupled with the easily raised temper lately that they decided to send someone fresh up there... Although that leads to a question of was I doing something to sabotage my working life??? Anyway... I need a break, really! So this is my break! (Not much of a break I know... But better than having to travel, travel, travel... ) Hmmm... That reminds me... Need to create a list of work needs to be completed for my colleague when he is there...
Darn... I just remembered... I need to do my EMS which is like a appraisal of myself before my boss is back from his holidays... That should be enough for reflections I supposed...
Whatever... It's late... Time to ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
P.S. - Thinking of going to Esplanade to take fireworks on NY eve.... But.... But... The crowd.... Haiz... Tehsis is keen on it, I think... Let's see what happens.... I really would like to try again for fireworks...

Welcome to the World of IR Photography.... NOT!!!
For the last trip that I took, I brought along the Hoya IR filter which I just recently acquired. Because of that, I thought... Good, since the sun is usually bright and blue skies and nice green lanscapes that you would think you will see in Australia, so I thought it would be a good idea to try out IR photography. For those who do not know what IR means - it's Infrared. If you visit some photography sites, you will find some very nice photos done using that method....
Sad to say... I had briefly read the instructions about, say, 3 months ago, and thought, well, it sounds easy... Fine, so I started taking quite a couple of shots.... Then when I came back, started to do some post-processing.... Well, that's where I realised that I had not followed the instructions carefully... I missed 1 step in the list of instructions..... I forgot to do a custom white balance setting based on the first shot (of either clear bright sky or green field).... Because of that, all my pics came up in this reddish shots which looked very much like nuclear holocaust.... Feeling so embarrassed for not re-reading the instructions again before starting....
Oh well.... Anyway, here's the shots that I had taken....
Melbourne...
Brisbane

Was visiting a friend's home when her cat appears....
Starting of the "haywired" IR shots - with some post processing, of course...

Was on my way back from customer site in Gold Coast when I saw this road sign....
Tanah Merah in Queensland???

Oops....
This is rather embarrassing as I downloaded my Mel-Bris trip photos where I just realised that there were some other photos in there as well which should have been downloaded at least a month ago and shown, but well... It's still in there!!!
So, I finally managed to download it, chose a couple of the shots and here's it... The small gathering we had for 'lil mz snooze before she becomes mrs tehpeng....

All I Want For Christmas....
All I Want For Christmas is You
(From "Love Actually" Soundtrack,
Written by Mariah Carey and Walter Afanasieff)
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true...
All I want for Christmas
Is you...
(From "Love Actually" Soundtrack,
Written by Mariah Carey and Walter Afanasieff)
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true...
All I want for Christmas
Is you...
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you...
You
I won't ask for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeer click
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you...
You
All the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me the one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me
I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just want to see baby
Standing right outside my door
I just want him for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is
You
And you and you and you and you
All I want for Christmas is you
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy

It was during a short shopping trip immediately after lunch time when I heard this sound played over the sound system in the shopping mall, and for the life of me I cannot remember where I was. Not surprising since I had just landed in the early morning from my Australia (work) trip, I had only like 2 hours of light sleep on the plane and another 4 hours of sleep (it was meant to be 6 hours but because I forgot to switch back the time zone on my phone, my alarm rang 2 hours earlier than I expected.... Blame it on the lack of rest!!!!). My first thought was - All I want for Christmas is to be home!!! - which I promptly sms Tehsis on this.
For the first time in my life, as far as I can recall, all I wanted for Christmas was to be home. Now, when I was young, Christmas was a time where I would receive presents for no other particular reason except that it's Christmas. As time goes by and I grew up, Christmas became another day of holiday which does not have much meaning as a student, it's holiday period, so there isn't much sense to it. However, it became a precious holiday when we started to work and we don't have much time of our own, especially if you have only 14 days of annual leave. Of course, Christmas is also a time to celebrate the birth of Christ and because He is born and died for our sins on the cross more than 2000 years ago, for those that believe in Him as our personal Saviour and Lord are saved, etc.... So from early years till now, Christmas was not really something that we would, in many ways, "treasure".
Perhaps because I was a rather homey person since young, that when I started working (and with more liberty!!!) I was going out more often than not, especially after having the car - felt that I had spent enough time at home when young - and then more recently, my work took me out of country to different places. Even when I was studying overseas, I had not been particularly hit by the fact that I was not home for Christmas - perhaps for that year, I was invited by my friends to spend Christmas at their home that the homely feeling of Christmas was still there.....
I guess the work trips that I have been having for the past 2 months where I am only home for weekend and then this Australia trip where I spent 1 and half weeks there, which prompted this feeling... I think I have been telling almost every of my Australian colleagues about wanting to be home for Christmas. Perhaps the novelty of travelling and, most importantly, the recent non-stop travelling that I have been doing that somehow I had miss home. Missed being home for home-cooked meals, the companionship with my mum, the easy evenings where I don't have to VPN into office network just to download emails and catch up with it (which reminds me to order my DVDs or I might not see it at all) or even the nightly web surfing from my PC in my room (although it's really messy in the room and on my table....) and I guess, missing the familiar feel of home, no matter how messy it is... As all you have is hotel rooms one after the other and sometimes, like the Marriott Putrajaya where I had been staying all these while, it's has become like a second home, the surroundings are very familiar (and they are so familiar with you and having your file on hand, you don't even have to give them your credit card number to guarantee your room!!!)
Somehow I really don't know how people could travel 9 mths out of a year and does not feel anything about it. Don't they miss being home? Don't they find the need to keep adapting to the different hotel rooms and environment a bit tiring? Don't they miss some of the food which they cannot find when they travel?
Don't know about you but I am now seeking out food which I cannot find overseas and no matter how oily or unhealthy it is, I am having it.... Perhaps when you aged, you find that you are begining to be more fussy about stuff and more resistance to changes and need of adaptation, etc, etc, etc....
Just to end this note... I have officially travelled 50,000 miles this year for I have qualified for Gold status in my frequent flyer program!!!
Perhaps that's why I'm wirting this.... I have travelled too much for the first time in my life!!!!
P.S. - Am flying again this coming Tuesday and I just got a call from the company's credit card company.... I have just pass my credit limit!!!! Hmmm... So how am I going to fund my this coming trip?!?!? Cause even if I was to put in my T&L, my boss is only coming back in January!!! ARGH!!!! Got to talk to my boss about the limit - there is no way I can be travelling like what I am doing and yet not having a higher limit.... Also, I got to seriously consider the access card - I should be getting it so that I don't have to queue with the rest, especially when I travel back during the airport peak period!!!

Hotel Rooms and more
I cannot believe this, but it's true... I am back in another hotel room, and have been doing so for the past 3 weeks. But there is more... I am going to be in another hotel room next week, and this time, I cannot even be home for the weekend as I have to travel for 1 and half weeks! I guess the funny part about this is that for the past few weeks and more, I have been staying at the same hotel that, hey, I just have to call and they will reserve the room for me without even having to ask for a credit card number for room guaranteed for late check-ins!
Of course, the other is... Well, this hotel is in right smack middle of nowhere! It's in a new town area where there is only 1 shopping centre - and by the way that's where my colleagues will head for lunch almost daily that I have to request for other places, just to make sure I do get some "nice" lunch, instead of the usual food court that the shopping centre has. This also means I can forget about going there for dinner. There isn't much place to go for dinner there!!! The only thing that keeps me from fainting is that there is a A&W there! Yup, A&W was the first fastfood that I ever had when I was very young, and if we were good, we would have a lunch/dinner treat at the A&W which was then the 'hip' place and it was overlooking the huge canal along Bukit Timah road (Yup, that's how old I am!!! If you remember that place, you should be around my age as well) Now, Mac has taken over and sadly, A&W has gone.
Oh, and this place is at least 40 mins drive from the capital during off peak hours and at least 1 and half hours during peak hours... Yup, traffic jam!!! If I want to head over there, I will need to book the shuttle and be back at the hotel before 6.45pm as that's the only time you get to have a "free" shuttle to the town - and you have to be at the same location at 10.45pm so get the ride back... Of course you can always take a cab back, but that would set you back at least 40 local dollars. You would of course try to get on this shuttle as well, after staying here for weeks, you tend to have tasted most of the food from the restuarants in the hotel, and sometimes, you just want to get out and try something else!
The last trip I was persuaded to stay over in the town (which means I have at least 30 mins less sleep or less surfing time per night). It was a refreshing change but it also means I had to adapted to a different hotel room from the usual one that I am used to... The funny part was, it was raining rather heavily that week and I had a couple of T-Cons (telephone conference, for those who do not know what it means), so I was basically having meals at the hotel as well!!! The other part was that, it was so expensive as compared to this hotel. I mean, 1 tepanyaki set in that hotel is at least 130 local dollars and that's the cheapest set you can find!!! I am not sure if it was a waste that I did not get a chance to roam around the town, but I have to say, it would have been... The only saving grace for that trip was the broadband access is free!!! I guess that helps, for a person like me - sometimes I am not sure why am I so hooked on the net...
Oh well... Time to pack in the camera for the next trip... And hopefully I get to see my friends while I am there, even for just 1 - 2 hours... Oh, that reminds me that I have to call them while I am over there... Make arrangements to meet up... Hmmm... Who else can I call??? I am going back to the place that was my home for my Uni days... So much has changed, and yet, it still looks rather familiar... I guess that's the only thing I can look forward to for that trip... And some opportunity to take some shots... Hmmm... It is at times like this you wish you had a P&S digital cam to bring instead of the D70.
Talking about that... I have not managed to find a suitable bag to use to carry it as well as my laptop for such trips... Haiz... More to add to the long 'to-do' list... Still not sure if I should just go ahead and get myself the Lowepro CompuTrekker Plus. I was hoping for a backpack that does not scream "SLR Camera bag" that is not so expensive and yet durable... Oh well... Carry on searching...
On closing... I am just so glad that I will be home for Christmas.... Never had this feeling ever since I started working, but boy, these weeks of travel and hotel rooms really make me felt that nothing is better than to be on your own bed, in your own home...
P.S. - Then there will be another round of travel again after Christmas... Argh... When will this project ends!??!?

1 more to go....
Yup... It's official... Ms Snooze is now Mrs TehPeng.... Heh.... Not sure if she got time to blog on her wedding day... Taking this opportunity to congratulate the couple, and best wishes to them....
It's kind of funny to see someone grow up and now is married. When I first know TehPeng, he was only a Sec 2 kid (and Tehsis was, er, Sec 4, or was it J1, kid.... and she is already married for what, 4 years soon???). Time flies, and sometimes, you don't really know where it went... I guess it does brings tears to your eyes seeing them grow (and still growing) in the Lord and happily married. Yet, at the same time, you realised that you are also getting old!!!! :p Who knows next, they will be having kids running around, just like Lauren and James (By the way, they look so cute today as a page boy and flower girl; and it's James's first time as a page boy - what an achievement! :) )
Mrs TehPeng did cry when TehPeng sang a specially composed song, written by him, for her - where he promised to go shopping with her on Saturday night, even when soccer is on the TV (He is a Liverpool fan, by the way)... Of course there are other lines but well... Will leave it to Mrs TehPeng to reveal, if she wants.... :p Hmmm... Come to think of it (and via confirmation from the video) she actually started to have wet eyes when TehPeng announced that he will be sing a song for her.....
3 weddings have gone.... 1 more to go.... Yup, I have attended and will be attending 4 weddings in 5 weeks!!! 1 more to go and hopefully this will be the last for the year and a few more years.....
Ok... Now... To get this video out by tmr for the dinner..... Marathon video editing session again.... Hopefully this is the last one.... Too stressed by work already... No need to get more unnecessary ones.... Heh....
Ok, ok... Don't talk about work.... Don't talk about work.... Enjoy the weekend.... 1 more day to go only.... Enjoy....
Hmmm... 10 years down the road.... Teenagers like Abigail and her gang will be in the "starting" age for weddings.... Hmmm... Don't think about now.... 10 years.... Who knows what would have happened by then - may not even be around... Heh....

Crashed..... (Yesterday)
Not too sure anyone has experience it (then again, it might be a lifestyle for some) but I literally crashed onto my bed yesterday at around 9.30pm and slept till this morning at 7.10 when I woke up with a bad dream.... I supposed this is due to the late nights that I was having and yes, it seems to happen whenever I travel to KL. Again for so many nights that I was there, I was not sleeping till 2 am in the morning and having to get up again at 7 am.....
So, by the time I got onto the plane, I was exhausted, and slept on the plane, had dinner at the airport after landing, eyes managed to keep open till I got to my mum's place, and then... ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Lost to the world... for what 10 hours!!!
I think my weeks till end of the year will be of similar fate.... Kind of funny that workload all of a sudden gets piled up so high that you seems to be out of breath.... I hope to get a holiday next year... Hmmm... Now if only I get a paid holiday.... That would be the icing on the cake!!!! :p How about a trip to Italy to see the Winter Olympics, paid???
Oh well... in the meantime.... DREAM... DREAM DREAM DREAM.....

Late Nights
Haiz, had been working till 2 am lately.... It has been like more than 4 years since I had to work that late and well, I have realised that then and now are really different times... I am sure most people, except workaholics, would agree with me...
Then...
- Could work like this for at least more than 4 months....
- Everyday is still a fresh day to start with...
- 20 mins of cat-nap, fresh to start another round of head banging work and still can handle for more than 4 hours...
Now...
- By end of 1 week, my eyes, brain and neck is protesting...
- Dreading to get out of bed, just to go back to work...
- 20 days later, the thought of another round of head banging work sends me back to me bed... and starting to get a headache....
I am sure I have more to compare... Well, my brain has just shut down... It's 2 am and it's not going to be in active mode till tomorrow... Wait, it's already tomorrow... Er, I mean later..... Heh....
Ok... Time to ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz
Oh boy... This will continue till end of year.... ARGH....
P.S. - The knowledge of knowing more weddings to come is not helping as well... The pressure of having to take pictures for one of the couples, in this stage.... ARGH.... Ok... Taking deep breaths.... And don't think till it comes.... :p
Note to self... Tomorrow... Come high waters and all, will spend time at the driving range for at least 50 balls (or whatever the payment is entitled to, could be 60 or even 100 balls).... Cannot be working straight from morning till, er, morning for the whole week.... Thank goodness flying back on Friday.... Haiz.....
2nd Note to self.... Must go for holiday - NZ or Adelaide if possible - must plan for next year.... Must pamper myself a bit.... Must.... Must.... Whatever.....

Hmmm.....
| You Are 90% Boyish and 10% Girlish |
You have a tough exterior - and usually a tough interior to match it. You're no nonsense, logical, and very assertive. Sometimes you can't understand women at all, even if you're a woman yourself. You see things rationally, and don't like to let your emotions get the best of you. |
Er... Interesting... :p

Have you Googled?!?!
Nearly fell asleep when I was trying to redo my video using another editing program, so I decided to stop and read some of the blogs which I have not been doing for the pass few days... Came across this entry in the blog talking about googling your name...Found the idea interesting, so decided to try it...
I did not know that I was a scriptwriter for some digimon series(!!!), the John Doe series(!!!), and Las Vegas series(!!!), and creative associate in Xena: Warrior Princess; was an architecture student in the Tyler School of Art, Temple University and wrote a study which is published in the web; (Oh!) A speaker for this talk on "Your future and how to get there" jointly organised by Canadian Alumni Singapore & Graduate Students Society @ NUS; (Ooo...) Featured in IP Links; a reporter for Malaysia's The Star; A Senior Manager for Cushman & Wakefield Beijing; etc, etc, etc... But nothing to point to me!!! Ahahahahaha.....
However, I think 2 of them happens to be my current worldwide colleagues... Yup, if I were to whip up the office email address book, there are 3 email accounts with the same name but different business units... They got feature somewhere in the google pages... I did not... Funny...
Oh well... Time to sleep... ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

Here We Go Again....
Yup.... Back from another overseas trip.... This time though there is no photos to show... Hey, it's a work trip - What do you expect out of a 3 full working days, 1 day flight to get there and 1 night flight to get back?!?!?!
Still feeling a bit tired from that flight back. Funny, usually if you do get some sleep from the flight you should, logically speaking, feels better... Well, not in my case. I got around 3 hours of sleep out of the 6 hours flight (Hey they had 2 meals on board, you get sleep disturburbance and also from your growling stomach)... Followed by another 3 hours of sleep once I got home... That should gives me lots of rest, compare to my previous night flight where I did not sleep at all, well, maybe an hour or so...
Whatever... Just downloaded the Google Earth... And I felt like an idiot for not able to understand how to use it... Maybe I'm too distracted by the video presentation that I am supposed to get it out by this Friday (Screening time is on Saturday) It's almost, almost done... Hope this is good enough... I cannot handle it anymore, and the songs that were used in there... I have been listening to it till I can repeat most of them without looking for the lyrics...
Oh well... Back to it... Before heading for bed... Tomorrow may have to be at customer site in the afternoon... Oh yeah, there is a meeting... Ok... Get it over and done with and I can say sayonara to the video...

Welcome to the World of DSLR
Well, it's official - Tehsi is now part of the DSLR world with her new 350D! Welcome... Will be seeing more of your photos soon, I believe, as you begin to learn how to use this cam... Tempted by her spending $$$ on the cam, I also will be parting some of my $$$, although not as much as hers (!!!), for an IR filter. So I am going to be venturing into IR photography. Assuming I have the time to explore... Saw the Tokina 12-55mm F4 lens... Was tempted to buy this - but cost $999. No money!!!
Been so busy at work lately that I hardly have much time to do anything else, adding on with the video presentation that I have to conjure up with all the recordings/photos of the Cambodia trip... Which I have to say... I have yet to have a storyboard for it - and it's due next Sat!!!! ARGH!!!!
Funny isn't it. Recorded so much scenes (5 full DV tapes!!!), and yet, have not even outline a storyboard to edit the video... Wonder if it will fit nicely together.... Oh well... I have to admit this... It's a scramble to learn how to use an editing software and doing it in less than 2 weeks... So... Please don't expect much out of the video... I really am banging on last minute "inspiration"!!!!
Comex is back.... Heard it was rather crowded today... Wanted to go and get 4 pieces of Batt, thinking of getting 200GB HDD, and was looking at LCD... Prices of 17" LCD has drop that it becomes more attractive to get... But as usual, $$$ issue.... Haiz....
Ok... Time to stop blogging and get back to the presentation... Er... Anyone has any idea of how to start?!??!? :p

Some Ramblings.....
Alright... EPL is back again... Just finish the Everton vs Man U match... Nice start to the season... Man U won 2-0!!! Park Ji Sung had his first appearance (Giggs had chest infection), and well, he did quite well for the start. Practically see him running everywhere, including right side of the field although he was supposedly left winger... But man, Man U has to buck up, Everton practically had possession of the ball most of the time, just that they were rather unlucky in their finishing... Maybe that's a good sign for Van der Sar.
Don't know why... But lately everyone seems to be in the habit of blogging how they start the relationship with their other half... Maybe it's because of the akan datang wedding of Mis Snooze and Mr Teh Peng.... She is so excited about it... Infect the rest of them.... Must be lah... Wait.. .Or was it Ms Tehsi who started it... Whatever.... Because of that, now I am rather curious on how beanbean and her other half started.... Dang... I am becoming nosy again... Haiz... Me? I guess you got to WLL for it. (You can't say much if there is nothing, can you?? :P)
Anyway, I think my life has become a routine... Every Saturday, you will, with no doubt, find me in IMM. To be precise, Giant Supermarket in IMM!!!! Maybe Giant should come up with something for their regular customers cos, without fail, my mum will be going there, week in, week out, shopping for her groceries. Now that my aunt is not in Singapore, I had to follow my mum into the supermarket - What else but to take charge of the shopping cart!!! Haiz... When is my aunt coming back?!?!? I am really bored and sick of that place... It got to the point that I am now carrying my mp3 player and listening to it while I am in there... If not, try to find topics to sms to people... Sometimes, life can be rather pathetic, especially when it becomes a routine....
Went to look for some new DVDs to buy (since LaserFlair is there)... Well, came back empty handed. Was looking for "Bride & Prejudice" R1 version so that I can compare the diff between the R1 and R3 version (R3 was out quite awhile) but still could not find it... I guess it will take ages to arrive in SG. Now I know a friend of mine blasted this movie for being too stereotyping but well, surprisingly, I enjoyed the movie. If you want a no-brainer, easy going and of course with the usual Bollywood's "bursting into dancing and singing" style of movie and throwing in a romantic comedy (I think it's a comedy, I mean... "No wife, no life"?!?! And you can make a song out of that!?!? Now how can that be not comedy?) - this is it! It's quite easy to pass the time watching this... I watch it twice on the plane... And still am thinking of getting the DVD.... Hopefully my friend will not know of this... Heh....
The other "contender" would be Wedding Date. First caught it was on the SQ flight, on my way to Newark. Then watch it again when I flew back to SG.... Hmmm..... Another romantic comedy again... Oh well, Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith DVD will only be here end of the year... Judge is still out on whether to get the latest Batman DVD - since I have not seen that movie yet, as well as on the LOTR series... Somehow I am not addicted to that trilogy... Maybe it's because I have not really seen it, well, except for the 1st one... Saw the old Battlestar Galatica TV series DVD, but boy, it's almost $160! No way I will spend that much on 1 series... I think the last DVD that I spent that much was for the Band of Brothers DVD, imported from US. (Sad to say, cannot play Episode 1 now as the top layer had a small hole which makes viewing not possible.... Cry ah!)
Anyway, I am getting restless and the "urge" to buy DVDs are back.... Serious.... I am now even watching a HK TVBI drama serial - Triumph in the Skies (courtesy of my coz). Anyone else got some DVDs/VCDs that I could watch... Hmm... If I remember correctly Ms Snooze got CSI DVDs, yeah... Should borrow that from her... Oh, I tend to start watching when I am going under stress.... It's a de-stressing trait I have... Other than eating.... Heh...
Ok...Time to get back to the drama serial... Now which episode did I stop on.... Hmm....

Hmm....
Was revisiting some of my old "internet" haunt yesterday... Came across a list of bloggers in SPUG, and in the list, I saw an old friend's blog link... He was one of the first few people whom I meet when I was a greenhorn in anything on Palm and SPUG. Anyway, started reading his blog.
Saw some stuff that he wrote which, well, sometimes intrigue me and wanted to vocalised my thoughts... However, decided not to, which to me is rare. A lot of times, when we read something, we would digress what the person is saying and then, based on our views and values, we would either a) agree with his view point if they are the same as ours; b) disagree if they are different and sometimes c) due to huge gap in the differences, we would start a "dialogue" or something to try to prove our points - which is what I see in one of the entry. Often, it may goes down to some sniping at each other, asking each other to be more "open" or "grow up" or whatever...
I guess what I am asking is... What's the point of this? Will we learn from each other? Or would such sessions pushes each other further into their corner and refuses to consider what the other has said? Heck, have we ever learn from our past?
I mean really... Take for example, WWII. Hitler and his Jews genocide. The world was horrified by the brutality of this... (And yet, there are some today that question the validity of the whole issue because they cannot believe that humans can be that cruel!) Then we move even near... Some 20 years later... Despite what we had learnt in the 40s... Guess what... We have Pol Pot, and his regime that slaughter millions of their own countrymen in Cambodia!!!! Is someone going to question the validity of this as well? Did we has human race ever did learn anything? Even more recently, 10 years ago or so... Rwanda. Somalia. Even what has happened on 9/11 and Iraq and everywhere else in recent history. You know... we don't even have to look at others, even locally... We had people murdering each other, torturing an employee, killing an employer, etc, right at our door step.
The question I posed will be... Have we ever learn anything? Have those knowledge of past shaped us to be a better person? My take... No. And I would bet to my last dollar that we will still carry on as before. Perhaps it may ever so affect a small minority, but on the whole... I seriously doubt it.

Cambodia Photos....
Yeah... I just return from a trip to Cambodia... It has been an interesting, but tiring week. Cambodia is very different from SG, and most importantly, I am rather thankful for my life in SG. It's pretty hard for me to imagine living in those conditions, after so many years of clean, modernised environment as SG. Of course, eveyrwhere has their own good, bad and some quirky points. Without much elaboration, below are the photos that has been picked from the hundreds that I have taken... Some has been changed to B&W (Which I felt had a better impact in B&W)

Ice Cream!!!! Well.... What type of B&J's Ice Cream I should be..... :p
Heh.... Interesting topic.... ICE CREAM!!!! But 66% SWEET???? I am not sure about that... I think I did tried this favour once.... Never did really like it... Much prefer the "New York... whatever" favour... Heh...
| COOKIE DOUGH! You scored 66% SWEET, 51% CHUNKY, and 37% UNIQUE! |
| vanilla ice cream with gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough You're an oldie, but goodie...the now-classic chocolate chip cookie dough. It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so, and has just the right amount of chunks. You make a good friend and your wild streak shows itself every now and then...enough to make things interesting. You prefer to stick with what you know, but sometimes can't help getting a little crazy. |

Photos!!!!
Yup... The photos for my most recent trip are up....
These are from Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.
There is a Crab Exhibition...
Outside of the Aquarium was this little squirrel nesting on the dustbin...
And... Just before my flight back to SG... Spent the morning at Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary, Schaumburg.
