It's been another 11 days. What is wrong with me? The irony of it all is, I blog almost everyday when I'm NOT having holidays. Maybe it's like, after a day out I just wanna chill when I'm back home. Blogging can be quite a chore, when you bear in mind the spelling, sentence structure, punctuation and grammar *looks angelic*.

At Yandao's place now... just had steamboat dinner with the folks. I love the idea of steamboat, although it isn't exactly my favourite kinda meal. It gives me a warm (pun intended) fuzzy feeling... the fact that you are being surrounded by love and happiness. Tonight, however, we passed on having sukiyaki beef because of the MCD -_- I love sukiyaki beef.

Time to wind up. Have to head home now with mom. Will continue later... uh well, maybe on New Year's Day. Nat, Piggy and Kenn are coming to stay over tonight ^_^

I'm in the mood for love
Simply because you're near me.

Went out with my Yandao (of course, my biased point of view) and his girlfriend Yun on Wednesday night for dinner, at NYDC Wheelock -_- Ugh. Was craving for chicken baked rice at Swensens but they were on a budget (they said Swensens more ex than NYDC so...). Had baked rice as usual (I refuse to eat their pasta). Halfway into the meal I felt like puking cos I could taste the rawness of the cheese everytime I took a spoonful. Therefore, I had half the rice, and later the three of us shared a Tiramisu mudpie, which, on the other hand, was quite good. Sigh. NYDC should just scrap away their main course and revamp to become a dessert house instead >.<

Brought my digicam along so decided we take pics at PS. There was absolutely no suitable backdrop for us -_- cos PS is in the midst of some silly Swan Lake Barbie exhibition. So guess where we took pics????!!!!! Right in front of the pinky backdrop, taking care not to show the words "Barbie Swan Lake" (or was it "Swan Lake Barbie"? Who cares la -_-), or the swan in the pond, or the pinky sky. We decided we would have only the castle. Blah.

Anyway, Yandao and Yun. It was in fact their 5th month anniversary (he reminded me after the evening was over). So I asked him, why on earth did you ask me along then???!!!! o.O

Yandao and me (Crap... I need to grow taller. Thinner too >.<). And for those who know what I am eternally like, check out the half-open bag.... -_-

While taking pics for Yandao and Yun I felt a soft tap on my shoulder. Turned around and realised it was Mosquito!!!!!!!!!! *dies*. For the pathetic few who know my "history" with him, (haha)... here he is (Yandao took a pic of us while we were talking o.O). Well I decided to leave myself out cos it just looked bad. Piggy, make sure your piggish snort is sealed >.<

Aiya, but he seriously looks ten times better in person. And I think my camera makes people look fatter than usual. Or is it just my self-consolation??!!! Sob.

The song "Hao Xin Fen Shou" is nice but it gets annoying when overplayed. And I don't think Lee Hom should have a part in it, cos he sort of spoils the song? I kinda admire his talents but really, just not a half-Mandarin-half-Cantonese duet with Candy Lo -_-

So tell me now and I won't ask again
Will you still love me tomorrow?

What is your behaviour towards guys?

Went to catch Wild Rice's latest production, Cinderel-lah - A musical pantomime at Raffles Hotel Jubilee Hall on Sunday afternoon, which was pretty darn good!! Well, of course you can tell from the title that it's in fact the original fairy tale of Cinderella with a Singaporean twist. In this rendition, Cinderella's name is Cindy (a Singaporean) who resides in Sengkang. Her evil stepsisters are named Precious and Treasure, and the famous Siamese twins have been renamed Cheng and Heng :p It was soooo funny, I laughed out LOUD like a kid everytime Hossan Leong, Sheikh Haikel, Kumar (!!!) and even Neo Swee Lin come up with some funny antic. Cheers to those talented people who came up with the songs specially written for this musical-play. It was especially heartening to watch different music genres coupled with very creative lyrics. I've always held local theatre in high regard, but this one was one helluva major breakthrough. This is what I call excellent theatre :> Darn, I would so love to watch it again, this time with Jo, but this afternoon when I went to Sistic at Wisma, they had only one miserable seat left for 26 Dec. Grrrr.

But who knows, give me another twenty minutes to think about it, I might go for it again. Alone.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed your show, Pig :>

Attended my first jazz piano class at Yamaha this afternoon. Did some basic stuff and blues scales. And, I was silently going "hhhh!!!!" when my teacher flashed the songsheet for "Autumn Leaves" right in front of me 15 minutes into the lesson. o.O!!!!! Like he could read my mind?!!! "Autumn Leaves" is one of my favouritest songs!!! *dies*

So Piggy and Kenn, if you wanna hear me play that, give me some time ^_^

But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves
Start to fall.

Funny how I blog like crazy in Melbourne but when I get my ass back here, I find no motivation (can't decide if it's the right word to use) to blog. It's like I have 1001 things to do when I am back home. Food, for one, is an absolute must. Then there is sleep to catch up on (not that I don't get enough of it back there). And I have to spend time with my family and friends (just the few closer ones). Going out. Shopping. Movies. Yada yada.

But don't ask me out too soon. I haven't got enough of my comfort zone yet. I have more than 2 months back here so there's plenty of time :>

So let's see - what have I been up to this entire week and 2 days? Kept Mags entertained till Saturday evening, and that same night Mom and I went to China Square for some Drama Box charity event, which was pretty fun. I had to buy the sponsor's chicken rice paste and chilli sauce to show my support though -_-

Sunday morning I ponned church. Now now Piggy, don't start blaming yourself as yet. We've got a long way to go in this :p By the way, I still keep that msg in my phone. It's HILARIOUS. ^_^

And at night I met Z, mm, HJ and his friend Clement for David Tao Soul Power!!!!! :) *faints* I never thought I could use the word "charming" on him, but he definitely was looking good that night. Can't imagine him transforming from being SO ugly and fat a few years back (I figured he was too ashamed to even include a clear coloured photo in his first album) to what he is now (check out the abs and muscles!!!! And droolsome hair!!!!) But in addition to David being the star of the show, I couldn't keep my eyes off Kheng Long *swoons* + *gushes*, who was his band leader and key pianist (AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). My God. I am behaving like a 15 year old F4 fan -_- And darn, I want to date John Manuel from TENSION. But I can't and I never will be able to. Boo Hoo. Haha, guess which band is on my desktop background now? ^_^ TENSION does one of the best a capella and R&B Soul I've ever heard. So therefore they are NOT a boyband. Okay they are a "band" made up of the typical number FIVE boys which equals "BOY BAND" but no, they are NOT Westlife, or BSB or 98 Degrees, for that matter. Okay so what if I am biased? :p

I bought a super cute piggy just yesterday, from Cineleisure. Love it to bits ^_^

Speaking of Cineleisure, I've just been away for a few months and everywhere I go, I see CHANGE. Plaza Sing now is like... whoo! The new shoppers' haven (used to hate PS cos it was sooooo borrring). You can find everything there, even Carrefour! o.O This afternoon I specially made a trip there to check out a skirt from British India... but!!!!!! When I got there and after searching high and low for it, Piggy told me it closed down -_-. Grrrrr. So I had to go back to the one at Taka (!!!). But it wasn't TOO bad. At least Yamaha was still there for me to register for jazz piano -_- so I didn't make a wasted trip after all. I'd die if Yamaha was relocated again. I'd die travelling to Hougang and Clementi. Or Suntec. By the way, I realise British India does have pretty good stuff... but super ex. It's good in a way though? If it was as affordable as Giordano you will find everyone walking around with the same stuff. Just like Giordano's stupid "me me me me me" T-shirt I see everywhere I go. I swear, the ME shirt is everywhere. Thank God I didn't buy it >.<

Toa Payoh is so happening now it's unbelievable. They're always hosting some show onstage (at the square thingy) or Channel U is there for outdoor filming. I even spotted a candy floss machine which will be there till Sunday. So I must get some before Sunday ^_^

Someday I wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me.

Whoops. Just did a little count and realised I haven't blogged at all in 12 days. Well guys, that's because I'm back home in Singapore and have been busy settling down and basically, just being the lazy me :p

These twelve days were great. I had an entire week after my last paper to slack before flying home - went for dinner at Nat's place (we helped out with the cooking here and there), shopping at David Jones and Myer (more like going on a fragrance-smelling spree), movie outings, late-night walks.... and finally on 3rd December, I came back home on SQ 228! After which my folks drove me to Oasis for "dinper" - dinner and supper. Haha. OMG I so lurrve their fried omelette with... preserved radish? o.O? Anyway, you get the idea ^_^

Mags came over the next morning after she checked out from Golden Landmark Hotel o.O Poor girl she. Came all the way from Hong Kong to catch Limp Bizkit only to find out the night before that the gig was cancelled due to "security concerns". Yeah right. Can they come up with a better excuse? -_-

Have to go now. Update later.
