We arrived early today and the girl's were re-dressing the window, in prde of place in the window is my beautiful little arm chair, the loose cover is a faded silver, doesn't she look lovley?
The silk square is also mine it has "I love you" in many languages with cherubs,
The girls have made a lovely silver/pink/cream romantic display without being overtly "Valentines"
Please forgive the self indulgence today, but it takes a while to get the right look, I have been thinking for a while of how to utilise the sloping walls. Michael and I have taken wires across so that I can hang fabric but hold it back. I have chosen Liberty & barkcloth in greens & yellows.
I have dressed my mannequin in a really long piece of Sanderson screenprinted fabric with a long piece of 1930's silk polka dot at the waist.
I decided to display both of the "Singer" tables rather than one at a time because I think that they would be wasted in a garden and would make great console tables.
We have more lighting, another chandelier & anglepoise
Plenty of mirrors, this beautiful barbola has a bevelled mirror and unusually is landscape
So how do you like the newest look?
Now for the rest of the shop, there are a lot of pictures, as since I went in on Thursday the stock has turned around. The units are kept very smart & topped up which makes every visit interesting.
I hope that you enjoyed this visit.
