This post is dedicated to my peeps that I've mostly known since my secondary school days and everyone who wished me a Happy 19th Birthday.

I happened to have 2 birthdays in 2 consecutive days as my lunar birthday happened to fall on the 30th Dec this year.

I just saw the powerpoint slide that Raymond sent me. It's one of the MOST TOUCHING stuffs that I've ever since in my life. Trust me peeps, I was really touched to see it. Tears were around my eyes while reading it. I believe a lot of effort was put in.

Many pictures were in there. Even pictures of me and Jarett when we were in kindergarten were in the powerpoint. I also laughed when I was looking at it. Zk also made a photo collage in it.

THANKS A LOT MY FRIENDS. I hope everyone of us will stay through thick and thin as our lives go on. It wasn't easy for a group of strangers to become friends like us. The days we enjoyed crapping during secondary school days, the times when we played soccer and the moments where we had outings (watching movies, sentosa and many other more) will always stay in my life.

You guys had played a huge part in my life and I believe you all will continue to play a big part in my life as life goes.

Over here, I would like to thank everyone (not in any specific order) :

- My sister (who reminded my mum to wish me)
- Kai Wei
- Raymond
- Zun Kit
- Koon Boon
- Peng Kian
- Kelvin Lee
- Jarett
- Daniel
- Kwan Yong
- Kok Ming
- Rong Ming
- Leonard Seah
- Christabel
- Fang
- Stephanie
- Shy
- Yi Xiu
- Sherman
- Evelyn Lim
- Evern
- Xin Yi
- Pei Xuan
- Alicia
- Hui Li
- Grace
- CC
- Zw

... and also many others who have wished me but names not included above.

Honestly, I thought I won't have a nice birthday this year, especially when I'm in China.

At first, I thought o my. My lovely house mates have forgotten my birthday (over excited that their bfs came over). But had a surprise. But out of the blue, Eve and Fang came over with a cake. Guess I lost the ability to anticipate surprises already. Got a pair of new jeans! YAY (:

Steph called and wished me. Another touching moment man. HAHA! SMSes came in after that. Quite surprised cause I thought no one will know my overseas number.

I would also like to thank my colleagues in OAV and Qi who wished me happy birthday (though I think only Cherry will see this).

But after receiving all the wishing, I really felt good (I can't think of any word to describe my feelings now). Though everyone wasn't physically here with me in Shanghai, I felt as if you all are near me. I'm glad that I have everyone of you in my life and I hope somehow, I played a part in your life too.

Once again, THANK YOU BUDDIES! (:

Suddenly, I was missing home. I thought I won't miss home all along.

I remember I had this dream 2 nights ago and the next morning, I suddenly miss home. I couldn't remember what the dream was about. But I sure do miss Singapore more and more now.

It's just 44 more days left! WHEE (:

Was thinking of my family and friends.

I wonder how my friends in SP did for their Napfa test. Hope all of them at least got a silver.

I wonder how my friends in NP are doing for their projects. Hope all of them are coping things well.

Was chatting with people whom I didn't talk to for a long long time these few days. I had this 'weird' feeling in me. It's like WOW you remember me, clicked on my nick and even bother to say hi. It's just a nice feeling.

Haha okay! I'm super bored now. Hope I will have things to do in the afternoon (:

HEY FANS!
I'm back from Beijing. Will upload the pictures when I get all the pictures from Zw. HAHA!

We reached Shanghai Railway Station at 7pm and reached Beijing at about 7.15am. O ya, forgot to mention, our train got 4 beds. There was this girl (quite pretty and hot) and this Caucasian sharing the room with us. Therooms were kinda small. But I still managed to get some sleep.

BUT FUCK! We missed our train on the last day and we didn't manage to come back Shanghai on time.

DAY 1
Went to check into the motel and walked around the places near it. Ate you tiao and soya bean milk for breakfast. It's so nice especially in the cold weather. Went to Tian Tan after that. It was alright, not very fascinating. The whole place was very big and it took us a few hours to walk around the whole place.

Met up with Kok Wee after that. Went to shop for stuffs. Bought a scarf, gloves, Abercrombie bag and socks at Xi Dan. Everything there was cheap. Then just walked around till night.

DAY 2
We went to the 13 Tombs. It was nothing much there also. But it's said that the place has a lot of yin qi. So we went over to a temple nearby to make sure that we won't carry any unlucky things back.

Went to climb the Great Wall after that. It's quite tiring especially going there in this season. But we sweated while we were climbing. Saw lots of Singaporeans there too. Zw and I took off our clothes at the submit. It's real crazy to do that. HAHA but it was fun. Many were looking at us as if we were aliens. Then there was this Singaporean also took off his clothes and we helped him to take a picture too.

Headed to the Underwater World next. I must say that Singaporeans are very fortunate that we have one of the best places of attractions in the world. Comparing Singapore's Underwater World with beijing's, it's like comparing a Ferrari and a CherryQQ. It's simply a waste of money.

Went to Hou Hai (their Clarke Quay) at night. The scenary was nice but the place itself wasn't that nice was expected.

DAY 3
Bought some shirts, card holders and some other stuffs at Xiu Shui Street. The things sold there also also very cheap.

Went to Yi He Yuan after that. The place there was also very big. I wonder how long they took to build the whole place. The lake turned ice too. We can even see people walking on the ice.

Haha! Here's the funny part. Zw and I decided to walk on the ice too. Luckily he was the first one in line. Before he could experience any fun walking on the ice, the ice broke on his first step. HAHA I didn't know whether to feel sorry or laugh at him. In the end, I just laughed it off. It was damn hilarious.

Met up with Kok Wee and Eveleen after that for dinner. Something stupid happened again. If you know those auto matic doors that will keep turning like a merry go round, you can imagine how this happened. Alright, here it goes. I was following the circle and suddenly, BANG! My face hit flat on the stupid door and the thud was very loud la. My nose hurt for quite a long time and I felt giddy for a while. DAMN IT! Haha it was stupid ):

Went to Eveleen's place after that for some drinking. We planned to go clubbing after drinking but our plan failed. Haha cause Zw wasn't feeling well after drinking a lot in the last round of our games and he puked on my sleeve. HOW LUCKY I AM! I was losing in a lot of games and drank a lot at first. Luckily we changed game to Dai Dee and I won.

The bet was
5 cards = 1 big gulp (1/2 cup)
11/12 cards = 1 1/2 cup
13 cards = 2 cups

GUESS WHAT?! I WON! Kok Wee got 10 cards and Zw has 12 cards. Poor Zw had to drink a lot. And Kok Wee and I were laughing around like mad. It was damn funny also. Zw's bad day. LOL!

So we headed back to our motel after that with both of us getting the effect of drinking about 3/5 of the bottle within 30-45 mins. He was KO and I was high. LOL!

DAY 4
The plan was to go to Tian An Men to see the flag raising and Mao's body. But we decided to go back to our Lala land. But we still went there in the afternoon. It was cold cause I didn't have my big feather sweater after he puked on me the night before. Only wore 3 layers of sweaters. But it's still cold when the wind suddenly came. OMFG.

Went to the Gu Gong and Forbidden City too. Some places were under renovation and there wasn't much places to walk around also. Many places look the same. Like the Tian Tan, Yi He Yuan, Gu Gong and Forbidden City.

Went back to Xiu Shui Street to do some shopping again. Bought some T shirts to wear in Singapore. Then met up with Eveleen for dinner again after that.

It was about 7.05pm when we came out of the restaurant. Our train was scheduled at 7.38pm. We only managed to get a cab at 7.20pm. After much haste, we reached the Beijing Railway Station at 7.35pm. The stupid aunty didn't allow us to go in and in the end, the train just left in front of our eyes. I was fucking pissed with her. And that was the first time I looked at someone in her eyes and scolded FUCK YOU in China. FUCKING HELL it was really fucked up.

I know it's our fault not to reach early. But there was still sufficient time for us to run to our cabins. Zz FUCK IT!

In the end, we took a lousy train back to Shanghai. Haha but it was a nice experience anyway. Reminds me of the amazing race that Kevin, Lyn, Jia Quan and I participated in Year 1. Haha crazy running with many people looking at us.

Alright that marks the end of my Beijing journey in the past few days.

45 more days back to Singapore! (:

Friday, December 14, 2007

Just came back from a dinner with Sue Tan, one NP staff and some of the interns in Shanghai also. The dinner was nice. Ate quite a lot and dessert. Been a long long time since I ate good food in China. Went to Starbucks after that. I ordered Expresso without knowing what it is. And everyone had a shocking face when they saw me ordering that.

Yu Hong was the only one who was talking stuffs with Mrs Tan and the other tutor. The rest of us were playing our game. HAHA it was real fun and enjoyable.

WOO GOING BEIJING TOMORROW till Wednesday. Hope it will be fun. The temperature is really low. I went to check and the lowest for the next 6 days is -8 degrees. OMG I can't imagine how cold it is and how much I will shiver there.

Was thinking back of the secondary school days when we played soccer. I remembered I like to act as if I was seriously injured when it was only a minor injury. But it was for a while only and since then, I seldom act as if I'm in great pain. Haha the next few 'actors' I could think of was Rong Ming and Tong How. LOL it's nice thinking back of all these memories.

AHHH 51 more days I think (if I never remember wrongly) WHEE FOOTBALL SOON! (:

AHHHHHHHHHH!

Haha I realised I have learnt things and become more blur ever since I came to China.

Things I have learnt:
- I learnt how to cut my toe nails! (:
- More Chinese words
- How to tarhan coldness
- Understand more about girls

Why am I blur (stupid)? :
- I forgot to add in the detergent to the washing machine all the time
- I placed my stupid keys under my key board and I'm left with NO KEYS FOR 1 day HAHAHAHA
- I didn't close the toilet door at bout 6+am and EVE SAW SOMETHING NICE WAHAHAHA (just my back view)

HAHA okay those are crappy stuffs to share. WOO I'm so busy these few days. Don't even have time to slack. It's also getting colder in Shanghai too. It's cold when the wind blows and you will go BGRRRRR..

Going to Beijing next week. AHH it will be a lot colder there.

O Kw just passed his Class 2B.
