Well here is a 40 week picture we took this morning. I don't know why I am wearing that same blue shirt, I guess I like it...:)
Well this is it, my official due date. It is the day I have been counting down to for the past 280 days. I have been on a time line that has grown closer and closer to my goal of April 26th. I have been so excited and so nervous at the same time about today. I pretty much have been waiting for this day forever...finally it came and.....NOTHING!
So I knew that a tiny percentage of babies are actually due on their due dates, and that many first time moms go past their due date, but I was really hoping I would not fall into that category. As today only has a few hours left and there has been no action on the home front, I'm pretty sure my fear has become reality. Sad.
Well I had a non-stress test today. Eric is happy as can be, I'm glad one of us is. I have another one scheduled for Friday. I am sure I will still be a walking oven at that point. Saturday, however, is another story. Saturday night I am scheduled for and induction! I don't really want to have to be induced, but I am sooo done and sooo wanting to meet this little guy. My dr said I will have him sometime on Sunday (if not sooner). My new day to look forward to is May 1st. I sure hope that he comes before then, but I am so happy there is an end in sight. We are very excited and are trying to be patient, but it has been very hard!

37 Weeks...good grief!
So 37 weeks down 3 to go. I am pretty excited about the upcoming events! Soon our little boy Eric will decide to come out and join us! Life is tricky when you are 9+ months pregnant. Simple tasks like tying your shoes become a serious project that often requires help. Also its not so much fun to sit, stand, or lay down for very long at a time. Breathing has become easier, I'm pretty sure he has dropped a little, what a good boy!
There are so many things I want to do before he comes. I have a list! I am glad I still have time. On the other hand, are you ever really ready? I know I am ready to stop being pregnant! My dr told me he was officially full term at 37 weeks, so he would be healthy if he were to be born now. That doesnt make me more anxious than a kid on christmas eve or anything... Good grief!
So, we have been working on his room lately. He has a super cute crib and theme (not that I am biased or anything) but my favorite thing in his room is the changing table. My grandpa made it. It is beautiful! I think I will always love it!!!! Ok ok so here are some pictures, what do you think?

My New Hobby
So card making, I am sure its been around for a really long time. I have just jumped on the bandwagon. It is so fun! I love my to use my cricut and this has been such a fun outlet for me to try new things. Victor gave me a Cuttlebug for my birthday and he let me open and use it a month early. I love him! Anyway the Cuttlebug is an embossing machine. It has changed my life. I love the texture on the paper. There is another aspect of card making that I want to get into....someday when I am rich....Stamping! oh my goodness, it is so crazy all of the things that are out there. I am just saying its like a whole new world for me. I will post some pictures of some of my projects later. First I have to take pictures of my projects. I think I might try joining one of those weekly challenges for card making that you can find online. I am not great, I have only made a few different cards, but I think this will be good for me to get better. Well until later...
Oh yeah only 9 weeks to go for before Eric makes his arrival. Maybe I should start shopping for him...hmmm.

More than half way done!
So this week marks my 21st week. I am pretty excited because I am more than half way through now. Wahoo!!! We are very excited to have little Eric come into our home! I'm feeling pretty good too! I am not obviously "showing" yet. I am really ok with that. The longer I can go without looking like another "pregnant lady" the better. :)
On another note...Holli comes home this weekend! I cant wait! She happens to be arriving in Seattle on Saturday, her birthday, and then coming to Utah on Sunday! I think we have all been planning Christmas 2010 since June 2009.
Yay for this weekend!
