Sophie and Matt met Duffy the bear.  We didn't know who he was before but he was signing autographs so they got in on the action.

I really should have blogged about this several weeks ago because now it's really hard to remember details now but we spent our 3rd day at Disney at EPCOT.  All of us loved the Soarin' ride, Turtle Talk with Crush, and a few other rides.  Sophie loved going to the different countries this time and getting her "passport" stamped.  We had another princess meal while we were at Epcot at a Norwegian restaurant (I think) called Akerhaus.  It was a very nice dinner with a buffet.  Since we were on the dining plan, Matt thought the girls might enjoy another princess meal.   At this dinner, the girls were able to meet Belle who was not at the other princess meal.  This restaurant was a little more low key than the restaurant at the castle and not near as expensive or quite as formal.  We enjoyed it though.  A few from our group stayed to see the fireworks but most of us went on back to the hotel.

I love the Nemo show!

We all jammed a little on the drums in Africa.
On the 2nd day of our trip to Disney World, we went to the Animal Kingdom.  We were able to hit all of the highlights including the Festival of the Lion King, the Finding Nemo show, the safari ride, Expedition Everest, kiddie area and rides, seeing Pooh and his friends, etc.  Abbie wanted nothing to do with them by the way.  That night,we ate at a restaurant within the Animal Kingdom with a buffet.  Plenty of good food at Disney World so it's good that we did a lot of walking!  We were worn out at the end of each day for sure!

We had a fun weekend visiting with Santa, spending time with friends from church on Friday, Mimi and Paw-paw Tom came in on Saturday to visit for a few days, and Sophie had her last soccer game that afternoon.  Several family members were able to see her play.

Breakfast with Santa- Part 1

Abbie, Sophie, and Morgan

Abbie did great with the wooden Santa but how about the real one?

Enjoying a tasty breakfast before visiting with Santa.

We were able to go to Crieve Hall's Breakfast with Santa this past Saturday for our 2nd year in a row.  Breakfast with Santa you ask???  Are you crazy-it's only early November.  Well, Santa has to do breakfast early in the season because he goes to Texas to visit lots of kids there.  This year was special because Aunt Martha and Uncle Matt were able to bring our cousin, Morgan, who is about 2 1/2 months old.  We sang a few Christmas carols in the auditorium and Santa came out.  We were really proud of Abbie because we didn't know how she would do with Santa.  Although she looked a little nervous she got right up on his lap this year without someone having to hold her or something.  Yay Abbie!  We had a delicious breakfast in the gym at their church and visited with friends and family.  Nana and Paw-paw were there, Uncle Phil, Aunt Martha, Uncle Matt, Morgan and some of Uncle Matt's family as well.  After we had breakfast, we waited to have our pictures made with Santa.  Then, the girls were able to make some cute Christmas crafts and we were able to get a few more pictures (the girls were really tired of pictures by the end).  I was so happy to find matching dresses for the girls.  It was not easy at all this year.  I really did not think it would work and then it did!  =)  We had a good time visiting with Santa and spending some time with family.

Daddy and his silly girls after decorating the pumpkin.

The girls being silly with Mama (we are all pretending to talk on the phone since we are with the Diva pumpkin).

The girls with their pumpkin shirts on ready for school.  Abbie  wanted this hat from the circus in the picture I guess.

We had a fun Halloween this year.  It seemed to come up on us fast since our Disney trip was just a few days before Halloween.  More on the Disney trip and an early breakfast with Santa coming soon...
