A group of us coordinated on doing quiet book pages. Sweet Terryville friends. We had a fun little exchange party. Still gotta get that thing all put together so it can keep my kids quiet.

To the city, to see a friend. . . April 2013
We all packed in the van and headed to the city to see a dear old friend, Lauren Hunt. Here is the crowd, ready to head to central park.
Now that I have a nice camera, I like taking pictures like this. And I like looking at them. And I like posting them on my blog. Spring is springing.
Lauren Hunt is my sweet bestie from my college years at UW. We were like 2 peas in a pod. I still adore her and will take any chance I get to see her. Even if it is only to meet up in the park for an afternoon. Excited for her to marry her fiance Ryan, and be husband/wife name twins forever :)
Fun slide in Central park. Josh seems to really be enjoying it.
Model Child.
Model family. I took this. Great photo - needs some cropping.
I'm trying to force myself to post more photos with me in them. Its hard. Nice arms Ry.
Cake Auction
I made these for a cake auction at church. They are cupcakes stuffed with brownie and sugar cookie "french fries". Not super fancy on the taste buds, but fun for the eyes. I was shooting for the kid crowd, rather than the adult palate. They were fun to make.
My Birth. And my new lens. A lesson in Photography.
Meet my new lens. Isn't she beautiful?! This was hubby present to me on my 29th birthday. I love him, and I love my new lens. Most of these shots were just me playing around with it. It assists me in taking beautiful pictures.
This picture makes me laugh, because Jane is the only person in focus in this picture. After I've been bragging about my lovely new lens, this is the best we could get for the group shot. My birthday was great. Husband came home early. He took me out to dinner, and a little shopping trip to Home Goods. Katie made me some delicious homemade oreos. They were perfect because I ruined the coconut cake that I made myself. I had been craving this cake for several months but had been avoiding making it. . . knowing that I would eat it in its entirety ALL BY MYSELF. But it was my birthday.
On our date. 29 years young.
Lori Oreo
I didn't take many pictures, but we had a really great time while Lori came to visit us. It felt like she had never left us. That girl knows how to have a good time, and we did lots of fun things while she was here. Love ya Lori! So happy to have you.
