At one point during Lily's party, I looked over and saw Tye just sitting there holding her new baby doll with its' binky in his mouth. I ran for the camera, but missed the shot. I was just looking through the pictures that I took, and came across this one...it wasn't even out of the box, yet!!! I think it is time to give up the binky!!

This was on our way to College Station for Lily's birthday party. We made a pit stop, and I fed Kenadie, and then Tye wanted to hold her...we were not moving, of course!

Tye wanted to hold Kenadie this morning, so I let him, (which he does quite often!) and he was so sweet with her I had to get the camera. The video shows a little of how sweet he was, but he was kissing and hugging her without me coaxing him to before I started filming!! This is even after he was bit by several ants (which we think he is allergic to) so you would think he wouldn't be so "cheery." He is in his pjs so that he will not scratch his bites. We are super excited because we get to go to College Station tomorrow for Lily's birthday party, and then we get to go to Austin to see everyone there! We are going to have a busy weekend!

Tye just loves "calling" people on the phone. Today, he kept calling his aunt Laurie over and over again, so I got it on film for her...because he's not really calling anyone. He has such an imagination!!

Tye and I had been walking around outside for several minutes, and I HAD to pick him up so he could reach to touch every frog we saw. Then, when there was one low enough for him to touch on his own...I got my camera, and this is all I got. (Figures)

Tye just had to talk to his Aunt Laurie on the phone on our way back from picking him up in Brenham (he stayed the week at Grandma Lois'.) He was half asleep, but still intently listening to several people on the phone (she was passing it around.) Each time I tried to take the phone, he would get upset...I had to finally take a picture when he stopped holding it and used his chin and shoulder (I can't imagine where he learned to do that!)

Kenadie is 4 Months old!!

Kenadie had her 4 month check-up today. She is 25.5 inches and 13.10 lbs. She is the exact same length Tye was at 4 months, and she is 1 lb lighter, but she weighed 1 lb less at birth. She is about to roll over (and she may actually do it if she didn't scream and cry every time she is on the floor)! Tye loves to give her hugs and kisses all the time! If they keep this bond he is creating, they will be best of friends!
