Couponing

So, a couple of months ago, I decided to try this whole coupon thing. This was one of my first trips. Check out what was debited from my account for all of that! After the coupons, and I had a $25 check from Walgreens begging me to switch a presc back (that I switched to CVS for $25 there!), I owed less than $2!!!!!!!

Strawberry Farm

A few weeks ago, Mary called and asked if we would like to go to the strawberry farm in Marble Falls. We had no plans, and the weather was supposed to be super nice, so we decided to go. The drive up was absolutely beautiful. There are hills, beautiful houses, just really nice scenery. We got almost there, and we heard a noise that did not sound pleasant from the back seat. Poor Kenadie had thrown up. Not 2 minutes later, a very sick looking Tye threw up, also. Apparently, they had gotten carsick with all of the hills. We stopped, got some new clothes, and went on. The kids had a lot of fun picking the strawberries, then we ended the visit with a nice picnic. Besides the carsickness, it was a very enjoyable trip! Thanks Mary!

Steven and Michelle

Such a sweet, beautiful couple! This is my brother, Steven and Michelle!

These are a little late, but this is from Rachael's wedding. Brothers in top pic, and sisters in bottom.

Just like big brother...

Kenadie loves her big brother, and since we started potty training she will sometimes want to put on Tye's underwear. I shot this pic and thought it was so cute...they were both lying on the ottoman together with Thomas undies!!

Valentine's Day

We decided to start a tradition this year, that I hope will continue! We did our Valentine's the night before Vday, and we watched kids on Valentine's night, so some other couples could enjoy time together.

For our big evening, I decided to take over this year. I got a room at the Raddisson Hotel in downtown Austin, so we could experience "Austin." We went to eat at a Mexican food restaurant that we have been really wanting to go back to, then we walked down to the Capital building and walked around there, and we had a midnight snack (hot fudge sundae) from TGIFridays. Our room had a gorgeous lake view, so that was fun, too!

Thanks to Sherry and TaTa for making it possible for us to go!

Blogger is not letting me post pics...I'll try later!

Aaron and Jodi's wedding

Kiddie Acres

We went to Kiddie Acres with our friend the Walkers, and had a lot of fun! It's a little on the pricey side for such a small park, but the kids still loved it!

Fun with Cousin Shaylee

A few weeks ago, cousin Shaylee came to spend the night and I set up TV trays with their lunch and they just loved it!

The box is always the best part...

Uncle Paul and Aunt Shirley gave Tye this Black and Decker toolbench, and as I was trying so desperately to put it together, this is what they were doing! Don't worry, Paul and Shirley, he LOVES it! All the way home, he kept asking to put together his tool set from Uncle Paul!

Gator Country

We went back to see the alligators and check out the food. It was really good, and we got to see quite a few alligators, too!

Kenadie and Grandpa Rex

This was such a sweet moment, and I am so glad I was able to get it on camera!

Awaiting Christmas Eve guests...

Yes, I had Christmas Eve at my house...even after Thanksgiving! Both were quite pleasant, though. We had 17 family members join us for some great Mexican food and lots of presents. It was a lot of fun, and I am so happy that everyone that could showed up!

Can you say diva?

Santa, Mommy, Kenadie and Tye

Such a sweet moment...

Tye and his cousin Shaylee waiting for Santa to visit at Grandma Lois' house. He comes to see the daycare kids each year...maybe one of these days my kids won't be scared of him!
