Disneyland Countdown!

It's down to less than a week! We leave on our Disneyland trip next Saturday the 24th! We can't wait. It's going to be a lot of fun, especially
with the kids. Max is so excited, he keeps talking about meeting Mickey and ..."don't forget about Goofy" he always says! We made a countdown chain so he would understand that it was getting closer. He's been taking a link off everyday. Today's said 6 more days!
I don't know who will have more fun, us or the kids. We're all looking forward to our first family vacation to Disneylangd!

Santa pictures

We went with the kids and took our annual Santa pictures. We have done this the last couple of years...thanks to my mom. It's a lot of fun. All the grandkids get their picture taken on Santa's lap. The kids looked darling! Max and Briggs just happened to have matching outfits on, we bought them at separate times, me and Amy obviously have good taste! Kelsey did Averi's hair so cute and she had the perfect Christmas dress on with a fluffy white collar. (It's totally fitting if you know Averi) Sadie had a cute little red sweater on, she did better than I thought on Santa's lap. And little Maggie just looked so cute, she 's so tiny! She had a tiny little dress with a cute black bow. Her face looks identical to Amy's , I couldn't get over it! We had a lot of fun, the kids were pretty interested in Santa..Briggsi told him he was a "big man". They all smiled so cute! The kids were wondering where Brayden and Jack were. It just wasn't the same without you guys. We miss you and can't wait to see you at Christmas!

Going to the Dentist

Max went to the dentist last week. He was so excited and he did really well. He cried for just a minute. The dentist let him hold a horse puppet with big teeth and Max got to brush his teeth. He thought that was pretty cool. He did have one cavity, though. Too bad. Luckily, he didn't have to have a shot. It was small enough she could just fill it real quick. Max got a new toothbrush, he was set on finding a Dora toothbrush but after searching through the drawer for over 5 min the assistant finally talked him into settling on Shrek!

Dog-Sitting

We got to babysit our neighbors dog "Sparky" for a few minutes last week. The kids had so much fun. He's a little tiny chiwawa (don't ask me how you spell that!), as you can see. Sadie couldn't stop smiling! Max was running around chasing the poor little thing around the house. Sadie would just crawl around and Sparky would follow her. They had a great time. It was cute.

Say cheese!

Just thought this picture was pretty funny. Cute little Sadie!

Halloween Night

Halloween was a lot of fun this year...what a difference kids make! It is so fun to dress them up and see how excited they get. Max was a cowboy and Sadie was a Ladybug. Max was excited to carve pumkins and go Trick-or-Treating.
He carved some of his pumpkin "himself". He was pretty happy. He tried to pose in the picture to make the same face as his pumkin. He went Trick or treating with his Dad while Sadie and I handed out candy to the kids. Later that night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Turville's and had some yummy soup and bread bowls. It was delicious! We had a great Halloween...hope yours was good too.

Halloween Party

We had our annual van Uitert Halloween Party. It was a lot of fun. Good food and a lot of fun activities for the kids. We had a pinata, played Bingo and everyone ate too much. The kids went home with loads of candy. It is always fun to get together with the Fam! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa van!

Workin' with the boys

Max had a great time working with the boys...Grandpa Turville, Uncle Jeff and his Dad. They spent a Saturday putting up our new Shed. Max had his work apron on, it was one that Brad's Grandma "J" made him . It fit Max perfect, and Grandpa even gave Max his own carpenters pencil to put in the pocket. They worked hard and got the shed all framed in. It's pretty cool. Turns out it's like a full on Barn. It's going to be a great place to store some more junk!

Trip to the zoo..

While Amy was in the hospital with cute little Maggie,Grandma Turville and I took Briggs and Averi to the zoo. We had a fun time...that was until one of the wild turkeys came and ate a few of Briggs french fries. He freaked out and started screaming so loud! It was actually hilarious and sad at the same time! Me and my mom were laughing so hard! He was so loud that he scared Max and Sadie and they both started crying too!
The day did get better though...we had a really fun time checking out all the animals and the kids ended up having a great day. We took a ride on the train and they got to to touch the big water ball at the entrance. We did have to keep an eye out for those crazy turkeys!

Who cut the cheese?

I Came in from doing someone's hair and found Max just relaxing on the couch. He was just watching cartoons while munching on a hunk of cheese! Pretty funny. He was eating it like an apple, thought nothing of it. He's so funny.

"Wish you were here"

Well, this posting is for Brad. We went to the Austrailian Pink Floyd Concert with some friends on Friday night. We went to Training Table for dinner and had FRONT ROW tickets to the concert! It was a fun night out. Pink Floyd Rocks!

Park it.

We had a fun day at the park. We were babysitting our little cousin Ryan and decided to go to the park. We picked up Grandma Turville and some kids meals at Artic Circle and had a great time. The kids had fun going down the slides and playing on the playground. It was such a nice fall day. They got cute little Halloween flashlights in their kids meals.

down and dirty..

Two three year olds together...anything can happen. My friend Deborah and I were in the other room having a great time doing crafts and it got too quiet. It's pretty obvious. Max and his friend Marin decided to wash their own hair with some good ol' diaper rash cream! It was a lot of fun trying to get this stuff out...guess two little grease balls walking around isn't so bad. Gotta love it!

Bloggaramma Ding Dang

I'm part of the gang! I took on the challenge of the ol' Blog...such a weird word. It should be a fun way to keep in touch. It's been a lot of fun reading what friends and family are up to.

Not a heck of a lot going on around here. Life is "business as usual", I guess. Brad is working everyday and traveling a lot of fun places. I'm still a crazy mom who tries to cut people's hair at the same time. Max just started Preschool and is always saying funny things. Sadie just learned to stand up and she's always got a smile on her face. Life is good to say the least! We have a great time together!

I'm looking forward to fall. I love this time of year. We went to Frightmares at Lagoon last night. It was a lot of fun to see all the pumpkins and fall decorations. Max loves the rides, especially Puff. We've had a season pass this year, and I'm sad to see it's coming to an end. We're excited for Halloween. Max is going to be a cowboy and Sadie's going to be a Ladybug. Too cute, huh. As soon as I get the hang of this, pics will be on the way...I figured it out. Here are some funny pics of Max and Sadie at Lagoon, Hangin' around!

Taa Taa for now.
