A BEAUTIFUL RIDE HOME FROM SALT LAKE CITY

A VISIT TO REXBURG TO GET A GRANDMA FIX

VAN'S BIRTHDAY

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO VAN
THIS YEAR FOR VAN'S BIRTHDAY WE DID WHAT EVER HE WANTED INSTEAD OF A SURPRISE OR ANY OF US PLANNING THINGS

IN MEMORY OF... OUR LOVED ONES

                                                                        & LINCOLN MCDAVITT

THE DESTRUCTION OF A 25 YEAR OLD MEMORY

This is for all who played on this swing set/sandbox/playhouse. It was sad to come home and see Kory getting rid of it. But it did have to go. It was becoming unsafe. Maybe grandpa Van will build another one some day. There are a couple of pictures below. But Kory worked hard at saving the playhouse portion of it. We appreciate him doing all the hard work. THANK YOU, KORY.

RASBERRIES AND RUBBARB - Bigger and better than ever

They sure taste good this
year. We have been able
to grow in our garden
this year that we haven't
been able to for many seasons.

MORE GARDEN IN WYOMING

Can you believe it! For those of you that don't know, we have never really been able to grow anything but peas and small carrots and potatoes. Tomatoes always get to a pretty good size (if you have them in a green house) they never have enough time to turn red unless we box them up in between newspaper or hang them in our storage room upside down and let them ripen. Our season here is very short and as someone said resently, "Frost can hit any time and season in Star Valley."
The rasberries are actually as big as your thumb this year instead of your pinky finger.
The green and yellow beans just keep coming.
Even the crookneck squash and cucumbers that are outside have
been frosted and are coming back with new growth.

These are purple carrots and regular carrots

Two kinds of Beans (Green and Yellow Wax)

Two kinds of Peas (Sugar Snaps and Pod Peas)

DAN'S WORK

This is one of the reasons I am sure why Dan (Kyli's husband-the tall one in the blue shirt behind Pres. Monson) likes his job. A couple of months ago he was asked to go and deliver a beautiful desk that was just finished and as he got ready for the delivery they told him that it would be going to President Monson's home office. When he arrived he was very excited to meet the Prophet. Somebody was thinking and brought a camera along so that they could all have their picture taken. I am sure that it was a very thrilling moment for him and his co-workers.

DAN'S PLACE OF WORK

This is Dan's place of employment (Fetzer)
If during the upcoming general conference you look at the podium and the woodwork in the conference center
you can see the beautiful work that this company has done. The company does work for many of the temples, church buildings
and other places all over the world. This picture is of Tully Hall in the Lincoln Center in New York,
Fetzer's just completed this job a short time ago. They are not a huge massive production company,
they are smaller but produce huge massive quality products.
Dan and one of his brothers work there, it's a very good company and they are very good to their employers.

We hope that you enjoy learning a little about our son-in-law's work
I tell him that he is and will always be my most favorite son-in-law.
