ivan has completed his O levels with pretty good results back in 2006. he wasted a year in SAJC in 2007 and went on to spend 2008 in Temasek Poly doing his diploma in hospitality and tourism management. this year, he is in his second year of his diploma but is a little confused. he spent the whole of last night and this morning brainstorming...

Plan A
ivan shall continue working hard in poly, get his diploma and enter NS. after NS, he can choose to have a lowly-paid job at the age of maybe 23 for a few years then go on to obtain a degree at some university then get married. he finds a fun relaxing job and earns maybe a pay of $3000-$4000 a month perhaps? he has more time for himself and is not too stressed up at work. he lives in a simple house, drives a humble car, leads a simple life.

Plan B
ivan shall withdraw from poly now and enter NS this year. he would have wasted his poly fees away. after NS, he will be around 21 years old, he flies overseas to do foundation studies and go on to pursue his childhood ambition of being a lawyer, he does a Bachelor of Laws at a university. overseas education and living fees plus forfeiting his poly education fees, he would have spent around $250,000 to obtain the degree. if he does well, he pursues further education in the area of law.

otherwise he just flies back to singapore at the age of around 26 to find a job, get married and pocket a high pay. however, as a lawyer it may be his ambition but because of the competitiveness of the job, he has to work long hours and be very stressed. high pay, but less time for leisure. choosing this plan, he would have wasted years 2007 and 2008 away not obtaining anything. he could however be living in a big house, driving a big car and having an extravagant life.

journey to the west.

just got home from another stupid night. haha. went to ice cream chefs with sijia to eat some ice cream and wait for blue eyes to knock off before going for supper together. dropped sijia home and went to explore the west side of singapore with blue eyes. we decided to explore the abandoned kranji hdb estate. it is supposedly once a bustling hdb estate and then now it is abandoned. click here for photos of the place.

so yea, we went there and there were things like super old school hdb flats, hawker centre, playground and stuff like that. of course, all dark and abandoned. very very secluded place and makes me wonder why did the government choose to build an estate there, in the middle of nowhere. super scary, finally found somewhere scarier than old changi hospital. all i can say is, blue eyes is a brave warrior. lol.

then ended the night slacking at queensway macs, the turtle pond one. realized i wasted lots of petrol going to the west. haha. today i hit a new record speed on the road again, 165km/h! i must work towards buying a sports car, drivers like me deserve to drive one. i want a sports car, i'm born for it!

dear april, please arrive fast but don't leave fast, linger as long as you can, pause when you arrive. if april lasts forever, everyday will be a happy day.

so yea, last night was pretty fun. watched the mall cop movie with clarisse, mr and mrs siahaan at cineleisure. got scammed $2.50 for the cup corn that never came, maybe it's a sign from heaven, okay never mind. i miss eating cup corn in a cinema. oh wells. they were supposed to send it to my seat after i paid coz it was not ready yet, but it never came, by the time my movie ended, thay have already closed. i'm writing a complain letter and i want free movies as compensation.

then tauhuay supper after that and a short emo session. haha. i think i shall explore the west side of singapore tonight. hehe. i'm facing serious insomnia, i'm sleeping only at 6am these days and waking up at 10am. 4 hours of sleep everyday at super weird timings, i'm so screwed.
