Here are some bows I made for our most recent family pictures. We did gray and yellow. These are for the three girls.

Bow Holders

I have seen these around the internet for a few years. I have always used these:

A long ribbon attached to a flower or I have also attached them to wood letters that are painted. It worked just as well as the frames, but I wanted bows in the bathroom now that my girls are older and that Kaitlyn is going to school.

  1. I got three old frames from a garage sale.
  2. I had my husband spray paint them because he is a masterful spray painter and I am a novice--no reason for me to do it with a master in the house.
  3. I cut a piece of fabric to go on the back of each frame and applied interfacing to it.
  4. We stretched ribbon along the back of the frame and either glued or stapled it in place. Two of the frames were real wood so we stapled. One was plastic so we used hot glue.
  5. Then we put the fabric in place and again either glued or stapled in place.

And there you have it! Simple as can be.

More Rosette Headbands

Hey! Yes, I am alive. Just pregnant. I have been making things still, but not so much blogging about them. For example, these lovely creations were made in December. Yes, December. Yes, that is how far behind I am.

I love these headbands! They are extra great for days I have to be to church an hour before the family and we are running behind and my husband is stuck with hair duty. Headband in place and off they go.

Fabric Flower Bows

We had a girls night last Saturday where we made fabric flower bows and booties. My kids are beyond booties right now, but I did some bows.

This one is to match a new outfit I got for McKenna

And here are the others. I made the white one with magnetic buttons thanks to an idea from my SIL Melanie. Super cute!

Bows Bows

These are some bows I have made lately. Above are bows I made for my niece, Keria.

This is a nice flower for Kaitlyn

I made a pair of each of these to match my girls' Christmas dresses this year.

Flower Clips

I finished another round of flower clips...well, almost. I ran out of the alligator clips. But for the purposes of blogging about it, they are done :) These are just small and perfect for the little McKenna do's right now.

Fabric Bows

My sister-in-law, Melanie, discovered how to make these bows. I have been wanting to make them forever, and finally have!

The first two were made to match the girls' Easter dresses:

This one was for McKenna's birthday pictures.

I love these bows. They take very little material and are super easy to make. I plan to make many more. I sense a new obsession coming on.

Fun Flowers

It was girl's craft night again, and this time we did flowers. Here are the ones I made.

I love these first two for the Fourth of July. I made them by taking one red, one white, and one blue flower. Then I mixed them up to create these two flowers!

More Bows!

Remember how I said I was done making bows? Well, I wasn't. My friend Natalie asked me to make some for her sister-in-law. Hurray! I love making bows. While I was at it, I made a new white one for McKenna.

Dainty Bows

I have been continuing my crazy bow phase. I found some bows I had made for Kaitlyn when she was a baby that I never used much. I love them on McKenna! She has a smaller head, so they are cute on her. They are great for the dainty heads. So I had to make one in very color I could.

Here is a new version:

Here is the old version:
I made some more flowers

Here is the old version in a larger size of ribbon

I made a couple of these:

This was new. I wanted a dainty bow that could incorporate a lot of colors. So I braided all of these ribbons together. It looks cute on. I will have to get a picture of it on her.

A bunch of new colors:

A couple of the flower ribbons:

Sadly, there are more I want to make. I know, I am obsessed. I am going to move on to something new for now and come back. I think she has enough to get her through a month or so ;)
