New addition

Meet Sgt. Pepper our newest addition. Man,puppy's are a lot of work! 

Layla is 5

She is a 5 year old now. She knows everything. Her favorite color is every color of the rainbow. She wants to be a lifeguard when she grows up. She is obsessed with horses, cats and bugs. She loves school and gymnastics. She is a little actress just like mommy! She is in the play Annie right now and she loves singing and dancing. I love everything about her. She can however be a bit overbearing at times (who would imagine). She still calls mushrooms, smushrooms and onions, yunyons. I love that and hope it never changes. We had an amazing birthday party for her this year with ponies, a baby animal petting zoo and a pinata. She is living the good life!

She won't stop talking

Last month I was worried that Eva would never talk... Now we can't shut her up! I knew it was coming, better late than never :) she is at such a fun age right now. She is obsessed with Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse clubhouse. Layla is sick of watching it relentlessly (poor kid). She is still a big fan of all things baby dolls. She also started crawling out of her crib, so she got a big girl bed last week and loves it! Some of the things she is saying:

Layla is getting so big. She has stopped taking her afternoon nap. This has been a hard transition for me, but she loves it! She had been playing with all her neighborhood friends instead. She is such an entertaining child. Se keeps me laughing all day. She really wants a horse, she is "saving" her money for one. The other day she asked when the wish she made on the evening star would come true? I asked what it was and she said she wished she could be pippy long stockings, I asked why? She said because she wants to be a wild girl with a horse that lived in her house. I don't know how I will keep that dream alive!

Jayson and I have been keeping busy with his work and visitors. His mom came for a visit, then his sisters family and this past weekend we had a big family get together with his dad and uncles/ cousins. It was great to see everyone. 

Jayson also just ran a relay race last weekend... He is a man of steel. ;) his baby girls sure love him. We are lucky girls to have him in our lives. 

Eva's 2nd birthday

Can't believe she's two! Eva has been the sweetest baby and toddler a mother could dream of. She is cuddly,adorable and hilarious. I am excited to see what she will talk about when she decides to grace us with conversation... She is taking her sweet time. Her new words this week are sponge bob and sissy. Happy birthday sweetheart!

We had a small family party at our house and she received lots of babies and bubbles as gifts, her fave!

Oklahoma trip

We just got home from Oklahoma City where we were visiting Jesse and Erin. The kids are fast asleep, they are exhausted from playing with their cousins all weekend. On our way home from the airport Layla told us her favorite part of the trip was playing with her cousin Xander. Xander told his mom he was going to be sad all day because Layla went home. We really miss being close together , but we made some good memories on this trip, like catching toads!

Easter 2013

Easter was fun this year! Eva was into it for the first time. She was loving the candy. Layla wAs a great egg detective! We have been very busy lately with preschool, play practice, skiing lessons and swimming lessons....I am ready for summer already! But Layla is having a blast. She is skiing like a pro after 2 lessons ;).

Layla had an exciting week. She got her hair cut and she went to the daddy daughter dance with her daddy! I also got to go on valentines date with Jayson snowboarding. We are lucky girls! All is well at our house. We are ready for the spring, but it just keeps snowing!
