Thanksgiving!

Our camera battery died so we had to use my sisters camera for our thanksgiving festivities but I took a few on my phone and wanted to share my big mans first full meal. He had (and enjoyed) turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a tomato tonight for dinner. He enjoyed every second of it and sat there happily munching the entire meal. :) I'm thankful for my good little eater.
Happy thanksgiving!!!

And here's a picture of my not good eater...who I'm over the moon thankful for too. :)

Greyson is 7 months old!

Today our little guy turned 7 months old. I'm not quite sure how this is happening so fast...though I guess blogging about his 6 month birthaversary at 6 and a half months helps a bit with that feeling. Today I'm not missing a beat though...happy birthaversary to my favorite guy.

We don't have a doctors appointment this month so I'm not sure on his height and weight. The other day I got on the scale with him though and he weighed about 25lbs 5oz with clothes and his helmet on so I'm sure it's somewhere around there.
So what's going on with Greyson---as you can see he's wearing his helmet 23 hours a day and is doing amazing with it. During his hour of freedom he gets a bath which is now full of head massages and lots of kisses from Mommy. His sleep is still leaving something to be desired and I'd be lying if I said the Disney trip helped that one little bit. It's not AWFUL but it's definitely not a full night sleep for Mommy or Greyson. :( I keep telling myself that I'll miss this....I'm not so sure that's true though. :)
Other then sitting up by himself he can now get down onto all fours from the sitting position. He likes to jump forward when you're not expecting it too so be cautious! He can get up on his knees and rock back and forth and if you give him enough time he can scoot with his legs across the floor. He now wakes up in very different positions then he is put down in in the crib too.
He loves to stand up and may be just like his sister---not so into the crawling but super ready to walk.
He's also a very happy little man...I mean that of course when you're paying full attention to him. Gotta love life with my textbook example of a high maintenance baby. While life is not easy with these 2 crazy monkeys in our lives but I don't think Mike or I would want to miss a second of it.
This month will bring a lot of fun things for Greyson---his first turkey dinner and maybe even his first trip out for some black Friday shopping. :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone---I hope you have a wonderful day full of family, food and fun. :) I'll post pictures of the mess that is Greyson's first full meal next weekend.

PS: how handsome is Grey?!?!

Saying goodbye!

Our last morning at the hotel was spent saying goodbye to our favorite Cars characters. :) Ava gave each of them a hug and a kiss....

She even hugged Guido's picture! :)

Disney World: Day 3

On day 3 we went to a character breakfast at Cape May in the Disney Beach Resort. There we ate Mickey Mouse waffles and dined with Minnie, Goofy and Donald. :)

After breakfast we decided to go down to the main pool and play in the splash pad. The water in the pool was a little cold, but the splash pad was heated. Ava and Greyson both had a fabulous time.

After the pool we went to Downtown Disney for a little shopping and food. It was a quick trip, but Ava got to once again pose with Cinderella. (and get some fun Cinderella stuff too!)

After our nap, we hopped in the car and went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. It was awesome. There was snow on Main Street, a light parade, and some dancing in front of the castle....It was the perfect end to a very busy trip.

Watching the parade!

Watching the fireworks. This child was not scared one little bit. He watched and enjoyed every second.
Just like his Dadddy. :)

Fireworks at 9:30 at night...one tired princess. :)
I have a few pictures of our last morning at the hotel as well.....onto the next blog! :)
