Cutest little girl!

Ok i work with one of the cutest girls ever! For my Adaptive PE class, we had to make something that our student could use to help them with their daily activities so they could better develop. I work with a cute little girl who is in 1st grade and is downs syndrome. So for my assignment i made a balance beam that she could keep in her classroom so she wouldn't have to walk across the school and interrupt a different class. So here are a few pictures of the balance beam i made and her reaction to it.



I painted the board bright pink with yellow polka dots, so she would want to use it!



When i showed her it, she kept walking across it. She finally sat down on it where i captured this picture.

1. I have a habit of putting lotion on my hands and feet before i go to bed, or i can't go to sleep. And it has to be baby lotion.



2. When i read a book, i can't stop in the middle of the chapter, i have to finish the chapter before i can do anything else.



3. I have to put chap stick on before i go or do anything.Especially when i play sports. I love carmex!



4. During high school i had a certain hair due for each individual sport that i played. And i could only do that hair due for the games.



5. I have to keep a planner about what homework i have and things i need to do, or i forget everything!


6. I always have to make sure the door is locked before i go to bed, or i can't sleep!

Babysitting Heston!

On Tuesdays and Thursdays i have the wonderful opportunity to tend Heston in the mornings before school! It is seriously like the best part of my day! :) So i thought i would share a couple of pictures of the wonderful mornings we have together!

Michael & Our First Apartment!

Learning how to Golf!

I am taking a Fundamentals of individual, dual and team sports class and in my class right now we are learning how to golf. I am very bad and so I had mike take me out to the hitting range to try and help me with my swing. We had a lot of fun together and Mike sure is a good golfer and teacher. Hopefully with this class I will get better and hopefully one day beat Mike!

Busy life!

Well i know it has been a while since i have posted something, but we really haven't done a whole lot and when we did do something i forgot the camera! Oh well, i thought i would just fill everyone in on what is going on right now in our lives. We are currently both going to school at SUU. Mike is a finance major and i am going into Physical Education. So far we are both enjoying our classes and doing well. Mike is currently working at State Bank and i am a tutor and grader for the computer science classes at SUU. We are both really busy and we usually don't see each other until five or six at night. But we both try to have a good attitude and hopefully school will be over soon! :)

24TH weekend! Tons of Pictures!

On the 23rd of July we went to Hinckley for the Rodeo. It is a tradition in my family to do it every year. So here are a few pictures of the Rodeo.

We ended up taking Mike on a little ride around the different places by Delta. We had a lot of fun and i think it was pretty fun for mike to see all the different places where my parents grew up and had fun at. We also took mike to see my brothers grave just outside of Hinckley.
