Woke up at 1pm on New Year day. HAHA. Slept until super duper shiooook. Haven't been blogging lately due to my laziness.

STANDARD CHARTERED MARATHON! Woke up at around 3am plus to have my breakfast and took night rider with suzanne to Chijmes where we adjourned to Esplanade area. Compared to sundown, this is really 'people mountain, people sea'. A memorable 42km to remember since it was suzanne's first FULL marathon! I'm super proud of my PIG for completing her first marathon below 7 hours! But she ended up with black toenails and blisters combo after we completed the run. Collected our belongings and headed back to cityhall where we had the most rewarding lunch of all. MEGA MACSPICY+UPSIZE! HOHOHO. Thank God for seeing us through the whole run. (:

Of course it's time to indulge in some GOOD food and foot SPA after the gruesome 42km marathon! Mass spammed the salmon sashimi at Hokkaido along with other delicacies! I think we gained back what we lost during the run after the mega macspicy and hokkaido. XP. On our way back, we went to explore the new shopping mall at somerset, 313. Decided to try the fish spa at Kenko cause there was student promotion. Treatment for our poor feets, but it was really itchy!

As promised, I brought suzanne on a cycling trip at PULAU UBIN! Could still remember the first time I went there with ODAC when I was still in JC 1, bad bad bad experience cause I got raped by the mosquitoes and sandflies over there. Had a faint memory of the roads after visiting this island a few times during JC times. Was making our way to the beach when suddenly suzanne's bike chain came out! OH MY TIAN. Luckily, the chain went back after fixing it for a while beside the road. Made our way to Chek Jawa first because it was still too early to have lunch at the beach. I didn't expect the trails to Chek Jawa to be that longgggg, but it was a good workout for us plus we got to pass by this place where the scenery was really beautiful.

Headed back to the beach where we began our first outdoor cooking, maggi mee + eggs + chicken cocktails for lunch! Fortunately, we managed to finish cooking our lunch before the rain came. Next time cook again! HEHE. Made our way back to the main island around 4 plus where we had nasi lemak for dinner at Changi Ville. Good lunch, good dinner and a FUNTASTIC time at Ubin, what more can I ask for?

My first driving lesson! Booked my test date on 22nd March, shall spam lessons after I ORD. My instructor was quite friendly to my surprise. Engine stalled twice, but he didn't scold me. Shall aim to do better the next time.

Met up with suzanne after she came back from school. Went to suntec to have dinner at Astons, intended to get for her the cross pendant because the one at tamp not selling already. Couldn't find a suitable for her in the end plus no more element of surprise. SIGH. Headed back to expo for xmas service, had to sit on the floor at Hall 9 instead because Hall 10 was full already. The good thing was we managed to catch the first shuttle bus back to simei. LOL. Went back home to change, got a cup of coffee from starbucks and went to our usualy hangout place where we had our own mini countdown. I felt super guilty when suzanne gave me a xmas card. >_< SOO, I promised to write a belated one for her when she comes back from Malacca.

Attended BMC x'mas service with my pri sch teacher and her husband. The external pastor was really jovial and witty. I finally returned all the study materials that my teacher lent me the other time. I think i spent the rest of the day rotting, can't exactly remember already.

S303 x'mas gathering at ky aunt's condo. Intended to play tennis with ben chew at the condo, but it had to rain just before the time slot that ky booked. Brought the tennis racket and balls for nothing, sian. Went over to ky's house to help out with the chicken wings, turned out to be quite nice actually. Met up with the rest of the class around 7pm where we started feasting on the food that we ordered. Did quite abit of catching up with the class, then we started on card games which gotten everyone so hyped up. Went on with the x'mas gift exchange before we went down to see kiat yun and jun zhi hugging the security guard because of the forfeit they gotten from the card game. Wonder if there will still be such gathering again next year. The gathering this time wouldn't be so successful if not for ky and his aunt.

Super belated X'mas outing with the usuals at Dallas Cafe near Boat Quay. Met up abit too early, ended up stoning at Macs first while we waited for the girls to reach. I must say the food was delicious, plus my berry ribs was on 50% discount! It was even cheaper than Astons. Made our way to to the bridge outside Fullerton where we POPPed the crackers. Super retarded when the crackers didn't POP like we thought they would. Colin wanted to go Timbre, but it was packed, so we decided to be good boys and girls and we went home early. In any case, I can't stay out too late either because my sis's wedding is TMR! Still needed to help my sis with the props for the gate crushing when i got back home.

My sis's BIGGG DAY! Woke up at 7am before the makeup artist came over to help my sis with her makeup. The groom and his band of brothers came around 9.15am. It was really hilarious during the gate crushing, the groom and his brothers had to dance the visa dance in the boxers given to them, a really classic scene. I was late meeting suzanne, felt really bad making her wait. sorry! First time suz meeting my dad! :) Was busy helping my sis with the reception, ensuring all the relatives are here. Suzanne had a good time interacting with my bro and his wife and baby niece I think. Finally got to spend time with her when the wedding dinner officially started. Reached back home around 1am after sending suzanne back. It was also our first 29th that we got to spend time together. <3

Had my 2nd driving lesson before meeting suzanne for new year countdown service at TC. This time, my engine only stalled once! We reached TC around 9pm plus when we were supposed to be there by 7.30pm. Countdown service was quite happening, felt so old when i see so many youths. HAHAHA. Left the church around 1am and we managed to catch bus 32 to bedok interchange before taking the train to Tanah Merah and then we walked to 85 for supper! We officially closed our 40 days prayer after we shared the last chapter while waiting for the porridge to come. After which, we slowly adjourned to bedok reservior where we spent the first few moments of new year over there before cabbing back home.

WHAAT A LONG POST! HAHAH. There's still 4B gathering at Calvin's place later! Haven't meet up with my sec sch friends for a really long time already. Shall blog again next time.

Congrats to dear for completing her first 42km marathon! Though the process was a challenging and painful one, you managed to complete the run below 7hrs! It's considered good timing for someone who didn't train much before the marathon. Up coming, SUNDOWN!

Cant wait for this week to end cause that would mean the NS men will be gone and BLOCK LEAVE will be here! Went out with dear for hokkaido buffet followed by foot spa at kenya. Really satisfying meal after the marathon! Sorry for stoning so much, really tired from the COS work yesterday. Could see you were quite sian going back home at 5pm. =/

End of Stinky Tekong week! Spent 5 days rotting in tekong, but the RTI was a different experience as this time I got to be guard instead of the POW. Booked out fri afternoon and had a rewarding lunch at Crystal Jade!

Met up with dear later in the night for dinner at simpang for PRATA! On our way back home, we decided to go to the playground near her place. Out came a mango cake from her big bag! Thank you dear for celebrating my birthday! Thereafter, I received 2 other pleasant surprises. (:

Something else dear did that really touched my heart. She started on a shared blog since i went Taiwan, backdating all the big and small events to year 2007 that we went through together. Went speechless as I was reading all the entries she wrote. Thank you so much dear.

Slept in until 10.30am today. HEHE. Thought today wont be able to go out with pig cause she got to mug for her bahasa exam on Mon. But surprisingly, she was done by 1pm, so we met at 2pm to go out together before meeting zk and co for dinner at this jap restaurant at Elias Mall. The food was good, i was enjoying myself when i ate the salmon sashimi. =X Anyway, thank you zukai, colin, ky, linda and peggy for celebrating my birthday! Took a bus ride down to White Sands where we went on a neoprint spree. HAHA. Haven't take neoprints for more than a year plus already, was having fun at the editting part.

Getting old already, so fast hit 20. In another 95 more days, I'll be out of army and preparing for the next phase of my life. Maybe... maybe i might miss army. <_< Anyway, thanks for all the birthday wishes through sms-es and on facebook!

Past week in camp was monotonous. Suz, sorry about the black face during nights out on mon. Mad at myself. Zzz. This coming week will be BRONCO week, helping the new commanders to get their bronco license. Plus, one more guard duty on tue. SIAN!

Enough of army. I had a superb HOKKAIDO buffet at Turf City with suz. Thumbs up to the service and the quality of the food. Will definitely go again when both of us are free, but spare me the california maki for the next time. HAHA. Movie after breakfast cum lunch cum teabreak cum dinner buffet at Dhoby. Thereafter, we made our way to redhill for service preached by an external pastor from Sri Lanka. Had alot of fun on the bus ride back home! (The Black Face.. RAHH!) Thank you dear, i really enjoyed myself. (:

On a lighter note, I changed the skin slightly, i love the new photo! Hee. Updated the links, realised most of the links are broken already. My tagboard seems dead. >_>

Met up with suz for dimsum lunch together near parkway after tuition. Decided to go over to ECP to roller blade, but instead... we went kite-flying! HAHA. Was still hesitant over getting a kite, but weather was good with constant gusts of strong wind, so off we went to relieve our childhood. XD

BACK! HOME SWEET HOME! (: (: (:

Didn't know how i actually survived that horrible 3 weeks over at Taiwan lest the last 3 days of R&R. When i first reached the bunk over at the camp, the first impression it gave me was a slump. Seriously, the whole company was cramped into one bunk with numerous double deck beds. Ventilation was bad, limited power sockets and fans and no cupboards to put our uniforms and clothings. Unfortunately, the weather was equally bad in Taiwan compared to SG. Couldn't sleep well the first few nights, was sweating all over most of the time.

Then came the most dreaded, Ex Long Walk. Luckily, our load wasn't the full recce load, else we probably would take longer than one day to complete it. Started from the northern region down to the southern part. Though the terrain and gradient was steep and challenging, i found the whole exercise rather enjoyable. Accompanied by the ninja van that sells iced cold coke and ji pa, it didn't felt as tiring as the local one. Shall not talk about the other outfields i had in Taiwan cause they aren't fun at all.

R&R at Gao Xiong on the first night, kinda lost cause there was nothing much to do over there. Instead, a group of us bought beer to drink inside the hotel room to drink while the others went clubbing. Went over to Taipei on the 2nd day and spent the day at Liu Fu amusement park. Cabbed down to Shi Lin Ye Shi later in the night for shopping and FOOD! Xi Men Ting was the last stop for us on the last day of R&R. Rather disappointed cause i didn't get the onitsuka shoes i wanted. Only gotten ONE tee-shirt and a wrist band from this entire R&R. ):

Next up, 46 SAR empiring. Slowing counting down to my ORDinary life again. 5 more months!
