Bismillahirahmanirahimi hope i could be the same 'ol fighter.
to overcome the hurt.
from whom its come from, to them it'll return.
in His Will.
and with His Will, i will have to fight.
for the most humblest of things, the ability to bounce back.
For Allah is the Most Forgiving and the Most Knowledgable. For Allah is the Most Fair and the Most Understanding.Rasullullah has once promised..
"The prostrations of those humiliated not within his cause would be heard and often answered."Wallahi.
Patriotism is in the heart.
I feel that...
1) Donning the national colours
2) Going to the national day parade (of which has very limited seats in every way)
3) Reciting the pledge, singing the anthem (w/o even knowing the meaning of it by hard)
4) Seeking the 'practical efferversence' (credit : khai) in the parade glitterati and fireworks
DOES NOTmaketh one a bigger, better patriotic Singaporean.
I might be wrong, somehow.
But i know i'm not.
In the example of :-
One can be wearing red and white on National Day, when at the other 364 days, you might be cursing and swearing beyond the "Rules and Regulations" of Singapore.
Well. I might not be the Perfect Singaporean.
but...
I know that i smile and say my thank yous when good counter service has been rendered to me.
I know i give up seats gladly to those who might need it more.
I know i open doors for people.
I know i wait for people who wishes to board the lift.
I know i give the right of way to alighting passengers at the train stations/bus stops.
I greet cabbies "Hello Uncle" when I board the taxi.
And being in the Service Industry...
I try my very best to be a considerate consumer/patron/passenger to all Service Providers.
That's how much I live and breathe a Singaporean.
And thats how much i think I want other people to think of Singaporeans.
G.r.a.c.i.o.u.s.One word. Says all.
Well.
All's said and done.
one for the effort, can?
