Picnic @Barrage
In celebration of Ray's P.O.P
this time round,
we really took the initiative to prepare some nice food.
rather than the normal tuna in a can or sandwich.
I made chicken kebab!
heh, taste great!
how I wish B was there too.
Vin &tingg made Bacon Skewed with Quailegg &hotdog
Jasmine made Potato Croquette &Spicy Wings,
Qiaoling made Egg Mayo.
We left Barrage early as the weather didn't look good.
Off to Tingg's house.
Played Poker!
first time playing and,
I won a total of $8 +
hehehe!
home after that.
Tingg &I are planning to go on a trip overseas with both our partners.
Suggestion was either,
Bangkok for shopping
/
Phuket for R & R
B's not here,
so I'll have to wait till he comes back before I can make any decisions.
Also, I've been wanting to go to the Golden Palm Resort.
Saw from their website,
their suites are really awesome.
with sea view and all.
Suggestions anyone?
For a short weekend getaway ??
Drove yesterday,
went Serangoon Gardens for dessert with Tingg, Vin &his sister.
Totally forgot that Dessert Bowl is closed on Mondays.
Decided to try Dessert Origins which was next door.
They don't usually have much customers,
most of the time I see their shop empty.
Perhaps only on Mondays will they have customers.
Right,
firstly their menu wasn't really appealing to me.
All the desserts sounded rather weird to us.
Oh well,
I ordered Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts.
Judging from the picture,
I'm sure you can tell the difference of it and the traditional one.
This isn't paste at all!
&who the hell adds coconut milk to it?
took afew spoonful of it,
&the overwhelming taste of coconut milk was too much for me.
Definitely not going back for sure!
