Introducing Annie Claire
We are so happy finally to have our baby girl home! Annie Claire (Baby A) was born on Friday, September 7 at 1:03 p.m. I was so thankful that my labor was very quick (about 3 1/2 hours total vs. 18 1/2 with Little AJ!).
I started having contractions at about 9:30 a.m. while I was out to breakfast with some friends. I called AJ as I was walking home around 10:00 a.m. and told him he should probably think about coming home soon to be on the safe side. Ten minutes later I called him again and told him to come home right away. :) We left for the hospital about 10:30 a.m., hit some construction traffic on the way (not fun when your contractions are 2-3 minutes apart!), and arrived in the hospital parking lot at 11:35 a.m. Baby A was born about 1 1/2 hours later!
It was a very different delivery experience, since I had an epidural with Little AJ and nothing with Baby A, but I was very thankful for how well everything went. Baby A weighed 9 lbs. 3 1/2 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. She looks a lot like her big sister when she was a baby! Here are a few pictures.

First Day of School
Today was a big day for our little family. It's my due date (no news there yet!) and Little AJ's first day of Pre-K. She was very excited, and we were very proud of her. Here are a few pictures...
