Temporary freedom

So tempted to leave
Leaving all the notes behind
Finally closing the door behind
Gasping the temporary freedom

So glad to be outside
Forgetting the tension
Enjoying the moment
With a friend
And my dear 450D

Didn't expect to shop for anything
But in the end
Controlling is not what I do best
And so, I went home, loaded.

I wasnt studying hard
Studying hard is not my style
Don't wanna care the consequences
Coz I'm firm with what I decide
I want to be honest with myself

Chemistry, you're not the one
I'm abandoning you

I don't want to be with you

Golden red season

I took these pictures weeks ago. Only now they're uploaded.

It was a Sunday.
But a rainy one.

Bringing along a small backpack, with an umbrella.
Hahaha...^^
Felt like going for an adventure.

I went to the nearby park. It has a pond? lake? O, whatever.
surrounded by green and golden trees.

I sat under a tree beside the lake.
Watching the ducks swimming.
I like to be alone like this.

Da da di la dum dum

A new photography blog

Good morning!^^

I created a new photography  blog as you can see in the title. Well, not sure whether it's necessary to do this, but anyway no harm creating an extra one.

I call it  *drums rolling    "A Blink",   Taaa --- daa!!! *giggles

Why did I call it "A blink"? Don't ask me, I don't know why myself. Thinking of a name is even harder than taking a photograph for me.

In case you're wondering, I will continue posting photos in this "Dam di dum" blog. Just perhaps there's tiny min-ey~ difference with "a blink". So, in Malaysian language, "BOOKMARK BOTH OF MY BLOGS LAR~"or save, or RSS.... anything that keeps YOU  being updated with my recent works, OK? *puppy eyes    Oh ya, you can even go to "A blink" by clicking on the link on the side bar --->>>  where the title says, " Uen's blogssss".

Till then.

Here's what I took yesterday, nice???

Clathrate lab

Forcing myself out of the warmer bed, embracing the FREAKING COLD morning, aaAhhh, the cruelty.

If it was just a lecture, I would have skipped the class; unfortunately it was  a laboratory which attendance is a "MUST"!

Anyway, today we were doing clathrate experiment. Bubbling the mixture of water and quinol with sulfur dioxide gas, recrystallize it, titrate it with iodate, and so on.....

One quite funny thing happened during the lab. While we were waiting for the 30 minutes bubbling, one of the demonstrator asked one of the coursemate, "So, do you know what you're doing?" She answered, "Yea..... stuff...... recryst it........", followed by a funny expression. Then the demonstrator replied, " Hmm... Very scientific explanation." I couldn't help myself but kept laughing, softly.

And I brought along my hp, felt like taking pictures. And here they are, taken by vanessa when I was trying to vacuum filter the crystals.

I took the crystals back home and pointed them with my macro. So that you can get a closer look at them. Not really fancy, but commonly, only chemist produce these and able to bring them back home. Wakakaka....

I produced purple nice crystals last year, I think. They were really pretty purple crystals. And they used to be in my room for months before I decided to throw them away, eventually. Still regret. Maybe I'm going to let these yellow crystals in my room for a while before ending up being in the bin.

Good night

Recently,
Before hitting the bed,
the thing that I do is to imagine,
my future, my passion, my desire.

No matter how things are not running smooth for me at the moment
I still have to believe that things will go in my way sooner or later
I just have to trust, imagination comes true.

I lit up the lavender candlelight, helping me to get myself to sleep well.
I have a lab tomorrow at 8am.

Good night everyone. Sweet dreams~ ^_^

I'm Back!

I just realized that I didn't blog anything for more than a month. Aiks..

My friend and I talked about polaroid cameras recently. We were mentioning this Fuji mini polaroid. At first, I didn't feel like having one. I mean, it's cool and fun to own one. But it's considered expensive for long term use. The camera body is not expensive, but the films are. And every shot only takes a chance, meaning to say that, you get what you take. It's not like digital cameras, dslr which you still have 2nd, 3rd infinity chances to get the shot that you really want.

But after checking this out in eBay, OMG, besides, blue and pink, there's this WHITE one. I love it, because it's white! I really really love it! I had a hard time pulling myself back, not to get one. IF I had the money, I might go and grab it.
I spent lots of money on camera stuffs. After one, there'll always be another one coming up in my "To Buy" list. >.<||| That's why people warned, photography is quite an expensive hobby.

And... I guess I could show some of my recent work. Hehehe...

What do you think???
