Birthday Party

The Utah part of the clan got together yesterday to celebrate the wonderful birth of two of the most amazing woman who ever walked this earth... Lindy & Heidi. Here are a few highlights taken by our very own (soon to be pro) Alli Udall.

Don't you love how Cord left the plastic wrap on the brownies when he put the candle on?

This is one of my favorites

Can you tell who Alli's favorite subjects were yesterday?

The girls go all dressed up for their performance. But then Ame wasn't really feelin' it. But Nina sure had her groove on.

We had a great time. It was so nice to have Grandma there to play! Wish you all could have been there!

The kids and I decided we needed one more adventure before school started -- so at the invite of Lindy we decided to meet her and Symonie at the children's museum in Salt Lake. Sadly at the last minute Lindy & her kids couldn't make it (Lindy, Will really missed Makai!). So Sym & I enjoyed the day watching the kids explore and have a great time.

Here are some pictures of our day...

I love the picture of Cole & Satchel putting balls into an air tube. I think Cole liked it as much as his cousin.

The climbing wall was a highlight for Will & Barry where as Lily & Nina tried on all the costumes and played in "grocery store" forever.

As You can imagine Lily was not too shy about pretending to be on T.V. She sat right up to the desk and read the teleprompter. Barry loved getting on the big horse and Satchel who loves fans more than life was in heaven turning a fan on & off.

Now pay special attention to Cole's face. Can you tell how thrilled he is. Ha! I made him get up there for a picture. Now picture his face when he sees that I have posted it on the blog. Hee Hee

Okay, so I said the rock wall was a highlight for the boys... well actually THIS was the highlight. A Lifeflight helicopter for them to play in.

After the museum we had a picnic lunch and the kids played in the fountains at the Gateway.

Hold that skirt down Lily!

We had a great afternoon!

Best Friend Cousins

Our trip to P-Town

I posted a bunch of pictures of our trip on the Harris family blog. We spent a week in Portland and then went up to Seattle. (Matt's oldest sister Jennie lives there, and her son got married.) So, if anyone wants to see Nina and Satchel smiling, go take a look!

From Lindy

I'll just get right down to business:

AGENDA ITEMS:
  1. Thanks, Amy (or Travis?), for posting faithfully. I loved the SJ pictures!
  2. Keegan, please post a picture of your taxi--better yet, post a picture of you IN your taxi.
  3. Brigham, can't wait to see pictures of and hear about your vacation--I'm sad we missed seeing Max, but I know Mom & Dad were thrilled to see him!
  4. Camie, we're thinking of you and hoping the infection is better. Will you and Tommy be headed out west for any holidays?
  5. I don't know who checks my family's blog or not, but if not, I've updated for the month of July, including Tevi's birthday. I guess I'm too lazy to double post it all here...click here to check it out!
  6. Go to Cord & Heidi's blog to see pics of Lily's baptism (and even a family picture of the Boise Udalls...just for Mom).
  7. Jefferson's missionary blog also has a new letter!
  8. Mom and Dad, please do a post telling us about your trip to Oregon to visit Adeline and Ted. Matt & Sym, we'd like a report of your trip to Portland as well! Pictures, please.
  9. Our Udall girls cooking blog has some recent additions. I've been neglectful and haven't added anything in months. I'll change my ways and get right on that! Please leave feedback for any recipes you've tried.
  10. And finally....Kate and Brady are fixin' to start their own blog but first need a name. Please leave blog name suggestions in the comments of this post. :)
Love you all!
