doof doof doof

yesterday afternoon i crossed the bridge with my housemate to run some errands at eastlands.

we entered kmart to develop photos and there were six machines to load your photos onto. we saw two prices for developing. 49c for instantly printed photos or 25c for collect the next day photos - i wanted my instant photos because i wasn't planning to cross the bridge anytime soon after tomorrow.

as, i'm somewhat vertically challenged i chose to upload my photos onto the shorter photo machines. after successfully picking out my photos i was presented with the receipt screen but my subtotal came to $0.00. so, i asked the guy behind the counter how much should i be expecting to pay. he looked over my shoulder and asked which machine i used so i pointed at the short one and then he asked how many photos did i want to print off, i said around sixty [don't worry mother, some of the photos were r's] he said my photos should round up to be about thirty bucks. i asked him how come. he said i had uploaded my photos onto the 49c machine. i then stated i wanted 25c photos and how could i cancel my order. then the guy said he could give me the 25c price and have my photos printed instantly. then housemate had a 5% off card so the photos turned out to be 24c a print. not super cheap but i am now one super happy girl when i step into my room and see my collag,e face back at me!

in hindsight, it didn't even make sense for me to question the price of the photos. i wanted them cheap but i knew if i wanted them cheap i couldn't get them printed instantly. yet, i got them "cheap" and instant. and why i even bothered uploading them to the machines in the first place kind of bewilders me.

dwoot dwoot dwoot

talking about gramatically flawed lyrics in unit twenty yesterday.

housemate j: "the way i is" makes no sense at all!
r: you mean "the way i are"
housemate a: sounds like "the way i wizz"

LOLOL! that conversation reminded me of you, cal.
