Happy Valentine's Day

Here are few pictures of our Valentine's Day fun. We are iced in due to the winter storm. School's were canceled, but not our home school. Matt had a two hour delay along with the rest of the Federal employees.

Maddie had a great time making our cookies. Normally, Grandma K would be facilitating the baking fun but today it was just us. We shared our treats with our favorite couple in the neighborhood.

Now for less fun news. We have been invaded by mice. Ugh. I am not a pioneer woman that is for certain. Though I never had a doubt that I was a wimp, I have certainly entertained the idea of a simpler life like that of the Ingall's. I have also been imagining a future in the mission field. I think my adverse reaction to the presence of rodents, no matter how cute some say they are, is evidence to the contrary. I can't stand it.
