New hair treatment?

Tyler and I were putting together our new desk today and Loag came downstairs to show us his head. He had been in our room watching a movie and apparently found the lotion. Amazingly he didn't get lotion anywhere else... just in his hair. =)

Holidays

Of course I am behind again so I am just going to cram everything from Thanksgiving - Christmas in this post!

We spent Thanksgiving in Ohio with Tyler's brother and his family. It was SO much fun. I could do it every year! Loag and I went early and stayed 10 days. We had a blast with everyone! I am so mad because I forgot my camera. Tyler brought it when he came and we still forgot to take pictures. Lame. But we had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. =)

On our way home we had to stop and catch a Pens game. It was perfect timing because the game was in the afternoon and Pittsburgh is almost exactly halfway home. The Pens were hosting the Flames and we had AMAZING seats on the 7th row! (The only way to go really)

Crosby scored the 200th goal of his career!
Amazing considering this is only his 6th season.
(He also had a hat-trick in this game)

Our boy Malkin

We had a lot of fun decorating the tree with Loag this year. He was such a good helper and had a great time.

We also kept our family food traditions alive this year. My family does hand-dipped chocolates and Tyler's does shortbread candy cane cookies. This was my first year making centers and dipping chocolates without the other ladies in my family helping. It was hard but fun and definitely rewarding. (I had an awesome friend come help me out.) Tyler suggested that we do Ravens candy cane cookies this year and they turned out really cute too.

The annual family-in-front-of-the-Christmas-tree picture =)

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Logan was really spoiled by everyone! He asked for Jesse and Woody from "Toy Story" and was very excited that Santa brought them. (He actually told me that Buzz was sad because he wanted Jesse and Woody!)

Tyler wanted to put Loag's kitchen together early but I insisted that it would be fun to do it on Christmas Eve. The thing was completely disassembled AND was missing the first page of instructions. It took us 2 hours to finish! It was fun though, we just turned on "A Christmas Story" while we were working. =)

Logan looked like this most of the day... piled under presents!
(We had WAY too many. We even hid some of them away for his birthday or Christmas next year!)

And of course they all had to sleep with him!

2010 has been an awesome year for us and we are very excited for new adventures in 2011!

Happy Halloween!

Okay so I'm a couple days late... But in all fairness I have been better about blogging in the last week than I had been all year!

Loag was very excited to be Buzz this year!
(I only spent $8.99 on everything. Yay me!)

We had our ward "Trunk or Treat" on Friday.
I went as a "deviled egg." =)

While everyone else was walking, Logan danced
his way through the costume parade!

Getting lots of treats!

Our cool scary trunk.

Logan dressed up again on Sunday and helped me pass out candy. We had a lot of fun dancing to "Thriller" on a continuous loop (which I'm pretty sure drove Tyler insane) in between kids coming to the door. =) I love Halloween, its my favorite. I love the weather, the smells, the colors, the costumes, the haunted houses, the scary movies... everything. Hopefully next year we will be organized enough to really do some cool things! We had a great time though. Oh and surprise surprise, Tyler is already listening to Christmas music.

Pumpkin Carving

On Thursday we decided to carve our awesome pumpkin. This would be Logan's first year "helping" to carve the pumpkin because we didn't do one last year. We were so excited to let him help and we thought he would love it! He didn't...

That looks funny dad...

Eeew!

"That YUCK!"

"I want wash hands!?"

The pumpkin turned out cool =)

Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday we went with some good friends to the pumpkin patch. There were lots of fun things for the kids to do. They had corn mazes, slides, animals, games, and a huge bouncy bubble. They had so much fun!

This one was just really cute =)

Loag could have stayed in the corn maze all day.

Hanging on for dear life!

Daddy came to help =)

Big bumpy slide.

Just a little too small...

Loag has so much fun with his friend Spencer!

Riding the tractor out to get some pumpkins!

He found the perfect one!
(And wouldn't put it down or let anyone else hold it)

Next stop... Pittsburgh

After the Minnesota trip... the surprises were still coming. We made a stop in Pittsburgh to watch the Penguins play the Senators! I was probably even more excited for the hockey game than the football game! This was our first time watching the Pens play live and their new arena is awesome. (Although the city of Pittsburgh is really dirty and way ghetto lol.)

Many more to come...

Iceburgh

Apparently Loag takes his best naps at sports events.
This time he slept through the entire first period!

Zamboni doubly

Here they come!

Opening face-off

Between periods we got to watch the kids play.
There is nothing cuter than little kids playing hockey.

Pens win 5-2!!!
My boy Malkin getting one of the 3 stars.

This is probably the best stadium picture we took.
Not a bad seat in the house

Cutest. Thing. Ever.

Lemieux mosaic made from fan pictures.
(We waited forever to take this because it was swamped
with so many people looking for their pictures.)

Love Malkin.

We look forward to many more Pens games in the future. Its nice that they are so close... and I can't wait to go watch them in DC and cheer against all the Caps fans. =)
